We had a great house sit in Weston where we both started and finished our 3 month stay in the UK. Fran and Robert gave us a great introduction and the lovely house is within easy walking distance of the town and the beach front. We loved the very affectionate Tonkinese cats. Kate and Rob
We had a wonderful time staying at Lorna and Ted’s home near Prince Albert. Biggar and Siyah are both such friendly and loveable dogs. We loved spending time with them and found them very easy to take care of. They live outdoors and have lots of space to run around and explore, with access to a heated shop where they sleep. Biggar is very sweet. We always loved it when he’d come by the house to see us and we were thrilled every time he decided to join us on a walk. He is very calm and gentle and loves his naps but still manages to be active. Siyah is very playful and loves attention. We always looked forward to him running over to greet us and he never missed a chance to try and hop in the car! He’s an affectionate and cuddly boy. They seem to be good friends and we loved going on walks with both of them. Ted and Lorna’s house is great! It was very comfortable and clean and we felt at home as soon as we arrived. We had everything we needed, including an office to use with reliable internet - great for remote work. We loved how peaceful the area was and really enjoyed walking along the trails into the forest. We visited in the winter and the snowy landscape of trees, fields and frozen river was so pretty. It’s also very easy to get to the city of Prince Albert - just a 20 minute drive. Lorna and Ted were very kind and generous hosts. We met them before they left for their holiday and really enjoyed getting to know them. They introduced us to the dogs, showed us around, and had even printed out the welcome guide which was incredibly helpful! We would love to visit and look after the lovely Biggar and Siyah again one day. We wholeheartedly recommend this sit!
The communication with Dylan was easy. The house could not have been more central and mini Kitty was an absolute delight. We miss her, the home and Porto city and will definitely love to return again. Thanks Dylan :) xx
An elegant home in a beautiful location, a pleasure staying for a while. Lou and Rob are very welcoming and provide everything you could need for a relaxing stay in this picturesque part of Queensland. Gibbs and Molly are great company, very friendly and easy to look after. Puss is very affectionate, especially when it is time for food, as are the goldfish !
We loved our stay in Carolyn's place. We love little Olivia with all our heart. She was a delight to look after. The house had everything we needed and we especially loved the garden, the pool, the flowers and the birds. We really didn't want to leave this place or Olivia. We had brilliant communication with Carolyn throughout and a video call.
A truly enjoyable sit with Cricket and Fred in Prospect Lefferts Gardens in Brooklyn. Hannah and Seth were kind, communicative, and generous and their personality and character shine through in their well decorated apartment... I felt at home right away! Also the view over the park is not only amazing but so rare to have in NYC. The fur babies are absolutely lovely. They play well together and have a pretty typical cat/dog sibling dynamic. Fred is so chill and sweet, he loves a snuggle and treats. Cricket is an excitable, happy, sweet pup that loves attention from both humans and other dogs. She does need a decent amount of activity otherwise she seems to get a bit restless around the apartment. She LOVES her ball and the building has a courtyard you can take her to chase her ball and burn some energy. She's pretty well trained and sometimes she even pees on command! Short story... day 2 of the sit I was trying to get a cute photo of Cricket at the Boathouse in Prospect Park and she jumped right in the water, no hesitation, thankfully it was easy to get her out but be warned you might not want to get too close to any of the lakes or ponds in the park... there is a "dog beach" meant for that and though I'd hoped to take her there later in the sit (once getting to know her a bit more since it's an off leash activity) I decided to take her there that day since she was all wet and would need a bath anyway... she started whining with excitement well before reaching it and was in absolute HEAVEN there fetching her ball in the water and playing with the other dogs. She is very well behaved and her recall is good but she can get distracted by people and dogs walking by so should go without saying to keep an eye on her anyway if you should choose to take her. It was just as fun for me as it was for her to be honest. Having the park so close by is amazing but also do take walks around the historic neighborhood because it is beautiful! Highly recommend to other sitters and would do this sit again in a heartbeat :)
