Jennifer was a beautiful caring soul. During our time away, Jennifer didn't hesitate to contact us, if she had any queries. On our return the house was in perfect condition and our dog Leila was very relaxed.
This was our first experience with a cat sitter and Marissa has made it such a fabulous experience for us. She has been great at communicating and organising, even before she arrived. During the cat sit Marissa sent us thoughtful updates every day with lovely pictures of our cat. When we returned back home our home was spotless and clean. We absolutely appreciate Marissa and have booked her again to look after our cat in May! 5 stars for Marissa and would totally recommend her!!
Chris and Greg were AMAZING! They took such great loving care of our babies and our home. They communicated throughout their stay with updates and pictures of our labs. Lorena and I recently had the pleasure of house sitting for Donelle and Andrew at their stunning rural property in the Centre-Val de Loire region of France. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the beauty and tranquility of their home. We were graciously invited to arrive a day before the house sit officially commenced, which significantly eased the handover process. This allowed us ample time to ask questions and clarify any concerns regarding the management of this large property. The detailed information pack provided was extremely helpful, ensuring we felt prepared and informed. Our hosts treated us to a delightful and sociable evening meal, during which we enjoyed chatting about their upcoming trip. The property’s feline residents, Reene and Boots, were charming companions throughout our stay, Reene did “vanish” for a couple of days which was a worry, huge sighs of relief when she returned! The hens provided a generous supply of fresh eggs, and we were encouraged to help ourselves to vegetables from the garden, a real treat. Donelle and Andrew extended us a warm welcome, inviting us to enjoy their home as if it were our own, this made us feel incredibly comfortable and at home. Their property is a testament to their hard work and artistic flair, creating a most peaceful and picturesque retreat. We had the pleasure of meeting and interacting with the friendly neighbours and the gardener, all of whom were welcoming and helpful. Despite our limited French, everyone was patient and assisted us, making our stay even more enjoyable. Communication with Donelle and Andrew was excellent before and during our stay, and they were always quick to address any queries we had. Even when we were faced with a few challenges, their support was prompt and effective. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Donelle and Andrew had to delay their return trip. We were more than happy to extend our stay, having made flexible homeward bookings in anticipation of such a possibility. The additional days were a bonus, and we were delighted to remain in such a lovely setting. In summary, Donelle and Andrew are exceptionally kind and considerate hosts who made every effort to ensure our comfort and enjoyment. Our house-sitting experience surpassed all expectations and was truly unique. We feel extremely fortunate to have been chosen for this opportunity.
