We enjoyed housesitting for Catherine. She left good instructions as well as a clear and informative handover which was great. The dogs were easy to look after and affectionate, and there is a lovely wood in which to take them for walks literally leading out from the bottom of the garden. We also looked after their five hens which was very easy and they were excellent layers, so lots of fresh eggs to eat! Thank you Catherine.
Linda is very communicative and left clear instructions. Her home is sooo beautiful and exactly the type of home I’d want to live in one day. Kiki is very sweet and easy to care for. I would definitely sit for Linda again and would recommend anyone do the same if they get the chance.
We had a great sit at Christy’s home taking care of Cooper. Christy was very warm, gave clear direction and was in communication as needed. The home was lovely and the neighbors were very welcoming and helpful. We took walks w/ Cooper daily on numerous trails (they have over 30+ miles of travels in her development), that were easy to access, safe and wandered through beautiful areas. Cooper was very loving, and really enjoyed having his back rubbed! He is a sweet dog that loves attention but is not a nuisance at all. He enjoys his own bed and place on the couch and doesn’t need to be constantly petted. He just enjoys hanging out with you. He also LOVES to walk at a clipped pace, which means that after he gets his ‘sniffing’ out of the early part of the walk, he tends to walk quickly. I really enjoyed the pace as it used up his excess energy and burned up my calories as well! Bonney Lake is close to 1 hour south of Seattle, but there are tons of amenities in the immediate area for any type of shopping you could possibly need, including a brand-new Costco about 3 miles from Christy’s home. Additionally, Bonney Lake is 1 hour from Paradise on Mount Ranier, a fabulous and easy drive to see that very famous (spectacular) mountain within our National Park. Orientation and pet/house details were clearly defined and there was open communication throughout the entire sit. House and neighborhood are very comfortable and centrally located for Seattle, North Seattle, freeway access, restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacy and even Lake Union. Holly is an older dog so you'll have to be flexible with her. Ex: She might not finish her breakfast but cruise through dinner. This is normal. Potty (#2) times will vary slightly each day. But overall not difficult to find a comfortable routine. She is a loverly dog, and will get excited and still show signs of puppy youth. You'll be very happy sitting for Linda and Holly if you get the chance.
This was a wonderful sit, and one I’d highly recommend if you have the opportunity. Carl was very easy to communicate with both before and during my sit. He left clear instructions and had the house well-prepared for the day of my arrival. My time with Lupe was quite enjoyable. She’s an energetic girl and loves her walks, but also enjoys down time and napping in the sun. I enjoyed my visit and would happily return!
We had a wonderful time caring for Mary's 3 lovely pets, Tessa, Bindi and Lucy. Tessa is a sweetheart – a beautiful, mellow aussie shepherd, and Bindi is a super cute and playful pup with lots of fun energy! We had a great time exploring the miles of trails around the home and reinforcing Mary’s training with Bindi. And Lucy is the cutest little indoor-outdoor kitty who loves scratches and was very sweet and easy to care for. The home is beautiful and the area is peaceful and quiet, great for relaxing and long walks. We hope to have the opportunity to sit for Mary again!
