Dog Sitters in West Bloomfield, MI

This is the second time that Vicki has housesat for us for a month and it went just as well as the first time. As well as finding the house clean and in good order we also found a very contented cat. It was clear she had been well cared for and had had plenty of attention. It was noticeable that she did not subject us to the constant miaowing that we usually get for a few days after we've been away. Despite quite poor weather for most of her visit Vicki took a lot of effort to try and harvest our soft fruit and veg from the allotment then freeze it for us. She also attempted to keep control of a virus taking over our tomatoes in the greenhouse and made sure the automatic watering system was working ok. We really appreciated all this work outside. Whilst here Vicki got involved in all sorts of activities in the village including volunteering at the community library and joining walks put on by our walking group. She clearly enjoyed engaging with our neighbours and friends and has made at least one lasting friendship. We hope that she will want to come back to sit again before too long.

Lisa, first, I am very sorry for taking longer than I said to write this review (1 week and I went a little over...my apologies!), but it was very busy when I returned. Now for my review: I booked Lisa from my gut reaction to her first email and then subsequent ones. She did not have any reviews at the time, but after reading SO many profiles and holding out for that "one special one", I was glad I did hold out. Lisa is a hidden gem in zeewoi, because while experienced with animals, she was just starting out on here when she applied to keep my little Molly while I was away in Antarctica. Lisa was amazing. Her communication was timely and very thorough. It was evident that she and my dog bonded very fast. Due to COVID and the Antarctica cruise I was on, there were a lot of hurdles (covid testing) to pass to even get on the ship. This put a lot of uncertainty toward this trip on the front ends and back ends of it. However, Lisa strived to accommodate the uncertainties, if they came to pass. Luckily, it all went perfectly and we had the time of our lives. I could not have taken this trip without the assurance she gave me. There wasn't a lot of communication during our trip b/c, well...we were at the bottom of the Earth! However, when I returned, I did find detailed updates on Molly, along with some photos. Molly got so many walks and I do feel that Molly was even a bit sad after the newness of me coming back home wore off. It was as if she was still waiting to see if Lisa walked through the front door a few times. I am very thankful to have met Lisa, and if she has applied for your sit, give her a chance, even if she still doesn't have the most reviews like some profiles have after a few years. Everyone has to start somewhere, and I knew to trust my gut with her. Lisa, if you ever want to return to Nashville, just let me know and I'll try to be out of town again! ;) haha. I also talked to Mitch about getting a future THSitter for him, as well.....where both our dogs would stay together at HIS house. Believe me...you would LOVE his house on the lake. It's incredible! :) You'll be the first I contact for our next travels, if you think you ever want to return here....but who knows when that might be, given these stinkin' gas prices now, right? Although Kelley flew in from another state, she went out of her way to meet with me prior to the sit so I could introduce her to the pets and show her around the house. She is very pleasant and friendly and both pets took to her right away. Babe the Basset Hound can be a little demanding about getting lots of love and she clearly was well taken care of. Kelley sent several cute pictures and kept me informed about how they were doing. The house was in good order when I returned.

Noel and Jerry took wonderful care of our fur family while we went away for a long weekend. Very communicative and reliable; they are welcome back any time!

We got good vibes from Rebecca from her very first message! She was a great fit to keep our kitties company while we were away. Her communication was great and we got a picture of the cats as a good morning text every day. She did a wonderful job cleaning the space to make it ready for us, and the fresh load of sheets and towels was much appreciated. We highly recommend Rebecca for your future sits and would gladly have her back!

Second time having Matt and Nikki. They were just as great as the first time! Very communicative and Benny had a great time walking the neighborhood with them. I highly recommend them.

It was so nice to go on my trip knowing that Dee was around for my pups! Super duper recommend her for your upcoming sit. Kind, responsible, and professional + the dogs loved her. ❤️

Beth was super communicative, friendly, great with the dogs, and left my home spotless. I would definitely have Beth to watch my pups again! Couldn't give her a high enough recommendation!

Margie and James flew from Michigan and rented a car to get to my home to care for Deegan. I am so glad they came. Delightful couple and they loved to take of Deegan. They took him for many for many walks and rides in their car. House was neat and clean. I mixed up my dates and came back a day early. We spend a fun night together sharing stories.

Candice and Christoph looked after my home and my cat Henry and I couldn't have been happier with their service. They are lovely people, reliable, thoughtful, responsible, communicate well and left the place absolutely spotless. It was wonderful to know that Henry is well looked after and cared for, so I could enjoy my holidays. I highly recommend Candice and Christoph!

What a lovely lady, we enjoyed her stay at the house. She was neat and tidy and Hugo loved her. When we come home and Hugo is relaxed and happy we have a perfect sitter. Would love to have her back.
