It was an absolute pleasure to meet Stella and John, and a privilege to care for their beautiful home and pets. We had a wonderful relaxed week looking after Basil, Molly and Chico, their lovely characterful dogs. The house is beautifully appointed, well equipped and located. There is a large park directly behind the house to walk the dogs, and is a short walk into the historic town of Tenterden. The township is well serviced with an excellent Waitrose, a large Tesco supermarket, and numerous interesting independent shops and boutiques, all within less than 15 minutes walk. Having spent two lovely evenings with Stella and John, we feel we have made two wonderful new friends in the UK, and will be staying in touch. Thank you for your warm hospitality, generosity and kindness.
Laurie was great at communicating: send me an email a couple of days prior to the sit with all the instructors, and met me at her place before she left, so the boys and I got acquainted with each other in her presence. The boys were joy to interact with, although Tango was extremely shy throughout and David was curious, but needed a bit of a distance. Figaro pretty much ruled the house. :) Laurie was very quick with replies during all of her trip. I liked my first sitting experience with THS. Thank you Laurie and the gang.
We loved staying at Joe and Izzi’s cozy home and taking care of Cecil and Dorothy. Cecil was the cuddliest cat I have ever met. He even slept at the end of the bed a few nights. Dorothy is a bit more cautious of strangers, but she was still polite when she decided to bless us with her presence. Joe and Izzi’s home was at the bottom of a beautiful mountain with loads of adventure activities for the outdoor lovers. This was a terrific first THS experience for us and we had a blast exploring the outdoors each day. We would happily come back to look after their home and kittens in a heartbeat! Three friendly adorable cats in a stunning Mill House in a great part of Kent. Close to the medieval town of Faversham. Great walks nearby fabulous hosts who made me feel very welcome.
Anna was a wonderful host and we had a great stay! Her place is tidy, has everything you could need and is in a beautiful, quiet area of rural Hampshire. Piggy was the perfect pet and such a character, really well behaved and very cute. Would 100% recommend Anna and Piggy, thanks a lot for the stay!
This sit was fabulous all the way around. Sangeetha's is a vegan household with 3 adorable cats. When I was there, the plum and orange trees in the back yard were fruiting so an abundance of fresh produce. The kitchen was stocked with south asian delicacies. The house is close to the park and bikes were available to ride. Loved everything about this sit. Highly recommend.
