Jack, Leo and Max - “the boys” - are a true delight to be with. Being extremely friendly, affectionate and super easy to care for they opened up to us immediately. Well behaved and abounding with excitement and energy, they love to run and play, both with you and with each other, they are a stunning sight to behold during play. If given the chance they’d probably chase a ball all day. They just love being with you, and are very happy to settle on the lounge with you of an evening - and are sooo adorable when they curl up for their nights sleep. Communication with Charles was excellent from beginning to end, all instructions were clear and concise with any ongoing questions always being answered immediately. Charles and his home, with staff, are very well organised, he is a very friendly and generous host ensuring everything is detailed and fine tuned for you before he leaves. His house is run off the grid, and is set on acreage with a lovely view of the mountains around 15 minutes out of town. There is a small shop, great cafe,service station and winery/restaurant all within walking distance in a well sought after area. Thankyou Charles for letting us enjoy your gorgeous boys and your lovely home.
This sit was so smooth & enjoyable!! Mandy and Brett made me feel right at home, they are both warm & friendly people. Communication was excellent all throughout the sit, even with the time difference. Brinley & Briley immediately stole my heart - they are friendly, extremely well mannered, and full of love. And the bunnies are so cute and soft - they were very easy to care for!! Their home is beautiful, and very spacious. Everything in their home is efficient, and definitely made life easier (siri/smart house, robo vacuum&mop, air purifiers in every room, ice maker). Fort Myers beach is only 30 minutes away, and there are multiple other beaches to choose from that are about an hour away. Would definitely sit for Mandy & Brett again!!
We had an absolutely wonderful week with Chiku, the loveliest dog ever! She is incredibly calm and easygoing, making her a delight to care for. We enjoyed some fantastic walks together and even brought her along to a coworking space, where she was perfectly well-behaved. The apartment was fantastic, especially the garden, which became our favorite spot to work from. Communication with Hakan and Ayca was excellent, making the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. We highly recommend this experience! 10/10
This was a fantastic sit! A beautiful home with wonderful people & truly adorable hounds! Leslie is a great communicator, she was very kind when we had extra questions about the sit & stayed in good communication with us from start to finish. The home was wonderfully clean upon our arrival. We were given a fantastic, thorough tour & were even welcomed with a delicious home cooked meal. Leslie is kind, generous & worldly! And then there's the hounds... what can I say? We fell totally IN LOVE with both of them. Each being quite different. Oteil the desert prince rescue we found to be nothing but loving, highly intelligent & incredibly regal. A gentle being with a complicated past now living in the mountains and loving it. BELLA the labradoodle ... her entire MO is love. She is a love monkey. So fun, vibrant, clever & sassy. Morning cuddles with coffee in bed with these two was a joy we still miss daily. And they are both extremely well behaved & superbly trained. When Oteil got skunked he was such a good boy about bath time, they both were. They were excellent hike partners so good in fact that we took them cross country skiing. We would recommend this sit to anyone lucky enough to get it. High energy pets in the mountains with stunning snow. We loved it!! Thank you Leslie & co.
I was so lucky to get to spend 5 weeks with the utterly charming Django and Loki. So much character and so loving. Lovely apartment in a great location. Easy access to everything, public transport in Vienna is like nothing else. Dinah is a super nice friendly person who made me feel very welcome into her home. Perry and Diana left me great instructions for their beautiful home and two adorable, funny cats. The house is very comfortable and in a great neighborhood, near hiking, a small lake and plenty of places to eat or shop. Butternut and Nori were constantly amusing me, following me around the house, playing with their toys and keeping an eye on the bunny that hangs out in the backyard. Such a great sit!

I take my Golden Retriever puppy Louie to Dogtown Huber Heights for daycare 4 days a week. I cannot say enough good things about this location. The staff is incredibly friendly, and knowledgeable. Every time I drop Louie off he is more interested in being with them and his friends at daycare than saying bye to his mom. Whenever there’s been an issue they were quick to message me, and very helpful. I often look in to see how Louie is doing on the webcams and never see potty messes on the ground that aren’t addressed, or dogs fighting, the staff is always attentive and caring. Bringing Louie to daycare has been great for his socialization, and I love knowing that he’s not sitting in a kennel. Their grooming services are also fantastic, and it is so convenient to pick him up all bathed and trimmed and ready to go home. Pick up and drop off have always been quick and easy as well. Boarding there was also really convenient when we went out of town for a night. There are so many fun activities they do! It’s apparent to this very picky dog mom that the entire staff treat Louie like family. Definitely give them a try and see for yourself.
Absolutely love this place! Having recently moved to Dayton it was so hard to know whom to trust my pups with. I have been so thoroughly impressed and happy with dogtown Huber! The team here have been so observant of my dogs noting changes in behavior and even the smallest scratches on them! Great communication! You can tell they love what they do! My dogs are always excited for daycare and come back so happily exhausted! Have boarded my dogs here for trips as well!! Also love that they’re open 24/7!
Awesome facility! The employees really care about the dogs here, and take so much time to make sure they're as happy and comfortable as possible. They even have a salon, now! I love how the dogs get to roam a bit more freely rather than being confined to kennels for hours like other places. They maintain safety while giving more freedom, it's really fun!
We've taken our dogs here before and had no issues. Well this time our one dog was "aggressive". Our dog has never been that way not even at dog parks. So they isolated our dogs because we didn't have another option to come them while on vacation. I have talked to others and they have had similar issues after having gone several times. They also told us to bring her in more often as they could train her so they just want us to spend more money on a problem that wasn't even a problem. I watched the cameras and have seen dogs humping each other and others who showed aggressive behaviors but those dogs were not isolated.
Everyone is always friendly and really helpful. They have a lot to juggle but still have great customer service. Lillian is quick and knowledgeable and her confidence makes me feel comfortable leaving my dogs. Also, the groomer was great! I don’t remember their name though.
They were really nice and patient with our baby girl. They cleaned her up really nice and didn't take too long at all.
Love this place! My dog gets so excited when she goes to daycare and just loves it there. Everyone there is just so nice. They have great communication too, so if your dog is sick, just is acting too nervous, or anything else, they will always let you know which I really appreciate! She was even groomed there because it was convenient while she was in daycare and they did such a great job with her! She's a hyperactive dog and they were able to keep her calm. Great prices, open 24/7, and friendly employees! Dogtown is a great place to bring your dog!
I can't recommend Dogtown highly enough! From the moment we walk through the door, the staff always greets my pup and me with the most genuine warmth and enthusiasm. We took our dog there for boarding while we were out of town. While on our way back, we called and asked if we could have him groomed, and they really went above and beyond and accommodated our request. It was very much appreciated and so grateful for a business like this.
Update: Austin has been going here for 4 years now and I am so thankful for Dogtown! I figured I should update my review from 3 years ago, because they are still so great. They are still amazing! We are so fortunate to have such a great place near us. The staff is so awesome! We have been taken out Bassett Austin here since he was 16 weeks old and is now 7 months old. He love it here so much! The staff is AMAZING and cares about every individual dog! We are so fortunate to have such a great place near us with great staff. I highly recommend checking them out!
Our dog has done daycare, overnight stays, and a week long boarding. We have always had a great experience with Arlissa and Dayton Pet Care. They are very quick to respond, send daily updates, and take the best pictures. Luke always comes home tired and happy from all of the fun activities they do with him there!

My husband and I had a wedding to attend in Dayton. Being from out of town I did some extensive research on the best place to leave our dog, Molly. Dayton Pet Care had great reviews so that is where we had Molly do an overnight stay. I was not disappointed at all! All through the night I received wonderful texts, and some of the best pictures that I’ve ever seen of our sweet girl. I felt very secure in the knowledge that Molly was being very well taken care of! I would absolutely have no problem highly recommending their service!
My bulldog boys love Dayton Petcare! The team keeps me updated on their activities with pictures and videos. I can see the joy in their faces. I’m very comfortable leaving them when I have to travel. Feels like you’re leaving you’re pet kiddos with family. I would recommend them over any chain establishment. It’s like you’re leaving your pet kiddos with family. ❤️Only problem I have is their exhausted when I pick them up 🤣🤣.
I highly recommend Dayton Pet Care for boarding your cat or dog. They are a 24 hour service, (a rarity) and we were able to drop off our doggo at our convenience. Arlissa was quick to respond after I booked, asked all the right questions and made our dog, Sidney feel at home and loved. She sent updates and awesome photos of Sid during her entire stay. She was properly cared for and exercised and had one on one playtime. Please check them out, you won’t be disappointed!

Dayton Pet Care provides quality care for my dog. He loves going to daycare and playing with all of his friends. They care for the animals as if they were their very own. And they take amazing photos! I am truly grateful for their services.
I simply can not say enough good things about this place! I just left my fur baby there for a week and I got daily updates and pictures letting me know he was doing good while he was there. The owner is very prompt to respond to any questions. And this place has a full on puppy carnival on site! I’m talking playground equipment and a little coaster. 10 out of 10. This will be the FIRST place I call from now on.
My dog gets so excited when we pull into the parking lot, he can't wait to get inside. He knows to walk to the right for boarding. I don't worry in the slightest when he is being boarded. The girls that work the front desk are always so chipper and friendly. I know he is getting treated well while he is being boarded.
We know without a doubt our boy gets the best care here... every time! Seriously, all of the daycare staff are amazing... no matter who greets us at drop off in the super early hours, or at pick up, we are always met with kindness and a smile... and our boy is always happy to go there... he loves everyone! Same with lodging staff... they keep us posted and send pictures when we check on our boy, and that does wonders to help us not feel bad when we can't bring him with us. You can tell the staff cares for their guests like they were their own family.
Everything about Tipp to Tail is great! Reception team members are all so pleasant. The play rooms are clean and very well managed. The love and care they exhibit for Tucker is appreciated. We have used multiple services including daycare, lodging and grooming.
It was our first time boarding and I was out of the country for a couple weeks. So, initially I was a bit anxious at leaving my dog for that length of time. But when I arrived he seemed happy and content, almost like he hadn't realized I had been gone that long, which means he must have been having a great time making friends. Thanks for taking care of my baby.
Grace is wonderful! She does an amazing job on our standard poodle. She is highly skilled and makes our poodle look gorgeous which others failed to do. She also loves her like her own. I even hold off having her groomed till Grace is available.
We have used them many times but this time we were let down. We have three small dogs that are attached and for some reason they separated one of them during the 5 day boarding and we don’t really know how this happened. Clearly not the end of the world but we put our trust in them to take care of our puppies and this in our opinion was a major let down. Our three puppies are use to being with each other 24/7 and to separate the youngest from the other two was a mistake on their end. We were unaware of this until pick up and the way it was handled was very unsatisfactory and left my wife and myself very irritated with them. We are very detailed people and verify things and pay for extras so please if you chose to use them ask many questions before you leave.
Dr Jim is simply the best! He is patient and kind with my dog and I always trust his opinion of what's best for her. He has this amazing ability to empathize with the animal
Tipp to tail pet resort is Simba's home away from home. He gets excited to go there and has tones of human friends he loves. We feel at peace knowing he is well taken care of while we are away on vacation. I think everyone who works with Simba does great! I can't pick one. He loves all of you. Everything is great
I feel confident that my dogs are well taken care of when they stay here. The facility always appears clean and the staff is always very friendly and excited to see my girls. I don't know names, but everyone I spoke with was wonderful! I have pretty high standards in boarding facilities because I used to run premier kennels in Columbus and Cincinnati. Tipp to Tail exceeds my expectations and I feel good about leaving my pets in their care when they can’t come with us! I appreciate their strict vaccine policy as well as their health insurance option. Very well ran operation from what I can tell!!
We appreciate how well Oreo is cared for. As she is a senior dog, leaving her at home for several hours is no longer an option for us. Now that the weather is getting colder, when we choose to take a trip for the day, we have no choice but to board her for her care. We have peace knowing she is in a climate controlled space where care and attention is given. Laura, we appreciate the grade card and the extra love she was given. We appreciate you loving on her just as if she were home with us.
I've been taking my dogs here for years. They take really good care of the pups. We have 3 dogs we board for up to a week at a time. It's cost effective, and we get friendly updates through the customer portal.
We have used this place twice to care for our fur baby while we go out of town. They have done an amazing job both times!! We will definitely use them again in the future.
We have so far had a very good experience with this kennel. My dog comes home healthy. They have a lot of options for treats and other items for the dog during their stay. So hopefully it's as close to vacation as they can get even though they're away from the people they love the most.
This was our favorite kennel for our little Hank. We drove upwards of 45 minutes to make sure he stayed there because we loved how patient they were with his little quirks. The staff is so caring for each animal and remembered my little guy's preferences. We lost our little guy last year and have moved out of state but hope we can find a place half as good when we need it in our new community.
Can't say enough about this place! The ONLY place I will consider boarding my fur babies (2 boxer pups and a Pittie). I know my babies are well taken care of and I don't have to worry about them. The staff is fantastic and love what they do. If I have questions, the response time is quick.
I cannot say enough good things about Country Lane Kennel! They have been extremely accommodating every single time we’ve had our dog stay with them. This past trip we had a family emergency where we had to extend our trip twice and they were so kind and let our dog stay as long as we needed! I was blown away by their kindness and how much they loved on our dog! If you’re looking for dog kennel that treats you and your dog like family, this is the one!

We absolutely love country lane kennel! We have been coming to them for 2 years now for boarding and wouldn’t want to go anywhere else! They are so welcoming and accommodating. Our dog always comes back clean and happy! We also love the personal touch that anytime we come in they immediately recognize our dog and know his name! I would highly recommend this place!

SFPSS has been a wonderful solution for all of my dog sitting needs. My dog was adopted from a shelter, so he is very wary of overnight kennel boarding. Being able to keep him at home, and trust that he is being well taken care of gives me a ton of peace of mind. Each sitter I've used has been great, and always include pictures of him with updates so I know how he's doing every day that I'm gone. Outstanding company; we're so happy we found them !! We have 2 older greyhounds, and one of them is battling cancer and is a little "fragile." Given that, I was hesitant and worried to go on an overseas vacation, but SFPSS put my mind at ease. Three sitters tag-teamed for a total of 4 visits per day.. for 11 days. The sitters did a meet and greet ahead of time and diligently took notes as I explained the needs of our high-maintenance pups. They were on time for visits and gave the dogs lots of attention. They had no problems giving meds 3x per day and even adapted to feeding a bland chicken and rice diet (delivered by my friend) to one dog who developed GI issues. They also cleaned up several "results" of these GI issues, without complaint. Sitters sent texts and photos after each visit and were very responsive to questions. The dogs and house looked great when we returned. We highly recommend Special Friends!

Kristie and Allie were really wonderful at communication — they sent pictures and a note at every visit, which was very reassuring since Special Friends Pet Sitting Service is a new company to us. Melissa, the scheduler, was on top of things and kept us all very organized. The system they use to keep things secure is very professional and I felt secure having strangers in my home. This team is wonderful with our bunnies. We have been customers for over 6 years. Many service businesses, over time, become complacent with their level of service but not SFPSS. I have found them to increase their level of service, both in efficiency of meet and greet, access to house and most importantly, communication of the interactions with our pets.
Alicia has been watching our pets for probably 20 years. Always reliable and she loves our pets as much as we do. She took one of our cats to the vet when he had issues. Never hesitated to do so. She sits with our pets and goes the extra mile to make sure they are well
I just had my first experience with The Hound Playground and am very disheartened. The weekend before I dropped my beloved fur baby off to stay while I was out of town I went as requested to fill out the paperwork and give them her shot records. This is the very first time that I have ever been without my pup for more than a day so I was very nervous. I got her all signed up and that following Wednesday had a friend drop her off so I could go. They began asking my friend questions when she was dropped off so she called me and I called them. Confirming that I provided them with everything they needed. I was recommended to them by another friend because they were more affordable. That should have been my first clue. $24/ day for boarding is cheap!! When I went to pick her up my bill was $185 and change. I asked what the extra charges were for and he got angry with me stating that she was in doggie daycare everyday and that is an additional $12/ day. Not I nor my paperwork asked for additional charges to be accepted. As I told him that, he told me that his staff has been there for years and would not have made such an oversight. He then told me that he would refund it but my dog could NEVER come back. Now that I of course evaluated my dog she has cuts scrapes on her nose, neck and ears. I don’t have kids! This is my child and I feel like after not seeing her for a week, I was the one robbed. Especially of my first moments of joy after not seeing her for 5 days😔
Very upset regarding my dogs hair cut. I did request a more trimmed look because last time it wasnt cut short enough. We NEVER cut her ears because Papillon's hair takes FOREVER to grow back. I called the store and spoke to the manager who apologized but didn't even offer me a discount back considering I paid $50 for them to butcher my dog. If the price was more I should've been made aware prior to the cut. Unacceptable. Pictures of before & after..

No appointment needed for a nail cut. I chose the DREMEL TOOL this time. They were able to get them so much closer without splitting the nail. I will have this method done from now on. Its only $10.00 per dog I have 4 Dachshunds.

Took our golden doodle for a touch up of the face and body. Came back with an almost totally shaved dog… except there were parts of her that weren’t touched and some that were completely uneven. Absolutely horrible job. Will not be returning.

I cannot speak highly enough of Maria, I’m so grateful we’ve been able to work with her! We were recently referred to Maria through our veterinarian when we had taken in a puppy that was in less than ideal living conditions. Due to her leaving her family too soon, she came with some severe behavioral issues. Maria is so incredibly knowledgeable, and from day one of working with her we have seen our puppy unlock skills that we would never have been able to uncover ourselves. She gave us a behavior modification plan, which we’ve been working on at home, and we’ve seen great strides in our puppies behaviors. We also send our puppy to work with Maria twice a week at Maria’s doggie daycare facility and it’s been FANTASTIC for her confidence. She gets to learn the skills of being social with other dogs, while also learning directly from Maria. I feel like Maria has truly helped us save this dogs life. Having two small children ourselves, we were very concerned what the outcome of having this dog could mean if she went into adulthood without correcting these behaviors. Maria has given us peace of mind and the tools to keep our girl as part of the family. I can’t recommend her enough, and we will be forever grateful to her for helping us. Often times dogs are euthanized or passed around when behavioral issues aren’t dealt with early on, so we will be forever grateful for the early intervention we received from Maria and everyone at Frey’s Place!
Clementine, pictured here after a day at daycare(!), loves going to Bahati and Frey’s Place on Tuesdays and Thursdays. 🥰 She’s only been going for about a month, but has already had fantastic improvement in her confidence! She is excited to go now in the mornings and has even begun to play while there! She loves the enrichment activities and I can tell they are such great mental stimulation for her because of how tired and fulfilled she is when she gets home. Maria has been to my house to help with some training as well, and gave me all the tools and insight I need to move forward with my Clemmy. I can tell from my interactions with her and seeing her with Clementine that she truly cares about each and every dog individually and spends a lot of time considering what approaches and tools will help them to succeed. Clementine loves Maria and Mike!
Maria trained & socialized the best dog ever, Maggie! She has outstanding knowledge of the field, a keen eye for dog behaviors, & plenty of experience & success stories. I would feel comfortable leaving any of my animals with her at anytime and know that they would not only be cared for but made to feel like they are at home at Bahati & Frey's place.
I'm so glad we found Bahati and Frey's Place! Our puppy attends once a week and it's amazing to see how quickly she is overcoming her fear of other dogs. Before beginning care she exhibited a great deal of separation anxiety, and we've seen a huge improvement so far. Maria is very communicative and deeply knowledgeable. Every human and dog I've seen has been happy and excited to see her and Mike, and I feel very comfortable with my dog in their care. I'm looking forward to continuing our visits!
This is more than a typical dog day care! Our pup has been coming for a year, and I have seen him grow more confident and less reactive. Marie and Mike do a fantastic job and really care about the dogs; they are scrupulous about keeping a clean and safe environment for everyone. Highly recommend!
We had Maria over for a private training session last night for our new rescue pup. I can't tell you how impressed we were with her knowledge and ability to read our dogs. We also have a 12-year-old pit bull that we were not really concerned with, but she was able to give us simple instructions to help stop their barking. We were extremely frustrated and confused by some of the information we were told from other trainers. Maria told us easy simple corrections that worked! We are so looking forward to implementing them in the days ahead to gain the peace back in our house. Her calm and matter of fact approach is just what we needed.
THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! I work in Dayton but live out of town and needed to find a place for my black lab every day. We had been to multiple places via Rover where my dog had to be dragged into their homes or center. Now that I found Bahati and Frey Place my dog literally jumps out of the car every day! He runs to the door and jumps up and down. He does this every single day and we have been going their for 4 months now. Maria is so talented and the enrichment and care he receives there is top notch! Mike is so caring and my dog shows both of them love and vice versa. He goes home tired every night! I was so stressed and upset about finding a place I could send my dog that I was considering giving him up but when I found Bahati and Frey Place that all changed! I can’t say enough good things about Bahati and Frey Place. Amazing!!!
Really amazing doggie day care. They truly care about the animals and work hard to make sure that their experiences there are valuable. The behavior correction is their biggest asset, and we bring home a tired dog. We hired Maria as a personal behaviorist and what a difference 24 hours can make! The education was so much different and valuable to my dog and his needs than his regular puppy training class.
Our little "Buddy" is in love with Maria, Michael and Frey's Place! He is so excited whenever we arrive there that he can't get out of the car fast enough! He has so much fun with all his friends that he is exhausted when I pick him up. This is a great environment for all that attend. The staff is very caring and attentive! We highly recommend Freys Place for your fur babies!!
Maria is very personable and fantastic with dogs. Definitely trust her with my furry soul mate. Our dog Frank goes to daycare twice a week - he has an absolute blast and I love bringing home a quiet, tired dog. It is so important for him to have his doggy days. We love Maria and Mike!
Definitely not happy with the experience I’ve had here. I’ve tried multiple times taking my dog back thinking maybe it’s been a misunderstanding or maybe she was too tangled but every single time I get my dog back she is completely shaved down and even that being said her hair is still uneven and has long random hairs everywhere. There will always be an excuse on why they had to just shave all of it off. Definitely should’ve stopped going after the second disappointment.
This place is amazing. Staff is so kind. They cut my bassets hounds nails and he is a handful to deal with, with his paws. They do amazing and are great with his stubborn attitude! He makes them work for it and they have no issues with it! Highly recommend
I can't say enough how satisfied I am with the ladies here! I have a doodle so that means you MUST maintain their hair and I couldn't ask for a better place to take him. He always is loved, taken care of and looks SOOO handsome afterwards. THE best groomers!
Sent my two very hairy and long nailed dogs to Yuppie Puppy for my first time. Was not in the least disappointed. Both dogs came back well trimmed and seemed to have enjoyed their experience as well. Staff was professional and on time. Will use them again.
This was Winston’s very first grooming at 3months old. They did a fantastic job with him!! Am very impressed

I have not been to them in a couple years I switched groomers due to the staff. I had to schedule an appt and got in pretty fast however they didn’t open till 8 and then received a call at 12:50 telling me I had to pick up at 2:00. Now I work and in past I would drop off at 7:30 and pick up after work. No one mentioned hours changed so I sat In parking lot till 8 and then at 1 told I had to be there no later than 2 to pick up. They have things they need to do and appts to get to. Etc. I am not sure how if you work you can take your dogs to them. I will not be going back. They checking lady was very rude and wouldn’t speak and the short hours not to mention the grooming itself was not that great!
Friendly and they take very good care of my dog.
I absolutely love this place! It is the only place I’ll take my girl! They are amazing. I’ve had some bad experiences at other groomers, so I am very picky. This place has always exceeded my expectations! The owner and staff are always so kind and sweet! They treat my girl like their own. Prices are EXTREMELY reasonable and I always get booked fast! I couldn’t be happier.
Literally worst place ever, had ny dig for 6hrs and came back looking like this, hair not even the same length looks horrible smdh….hes a sheepdog btw
