Wow! We cannot say enough positive things about this sit. Both cats are wonderful; Ollie is extremely affectionate and Scout has playful kitten energy. They're both easy going and a pleasure to spend time with. We will miss them! Samantha was extremely communicative and kind! She provided us with a very detailed and useful welcome guide and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. She even had some snacks, drinks, and slippers waiting for us when we arrived! Samantha's home is stunning. It's clean, organized, gets great sunlight, comfortable, and very conveniently located. We had a fantastic time and will miss Ollie and Scout! We'd love to return and highly recommend this sit to any cat-lovers out there. Thanks Samantha!
We had such a great time looking after June's four furry 'monkeys'....Shadow, Imogen, Franklin and Jarvis. They all have their own unique personalities and we pretty quickly worked out how they all react with one another so we were able to give each one the attention they needed. There's lots of play time involved with four indoor cats and luckily that's one of the things we enjoy the most in life! The added bonus here is the stunning location overlooking the beach in San Sebastian. Plenty of time for sunset drinks in between cat duties! We would have no hesitation sitting for June again and recommend this sit to anyone who has experience looking after multiple cats. You'll get so much pleasure being around such beautiful furry 'monkeys'.
This was such a lovely place to be, I felt super fortunate to take a few days out of my life to be there. Buddy is a big softie and Sierra was fun to play with. The cats are surprisingly friendly, for cats. The chickens and ducks were easy to maintain, be aware of the young rooster. He is cheeky. The human was also super nice and fed me a super tasty dinner the night before she left.
We thoroughly enjoyed our housesit at Fiona & Simon's beautiful country sanctuary. The dogs all have lovely natures and were great with our kids. Percy has such a big personality for a little boy and offered endless entertainment! They are all super easygoing and a pleasure to look after. We also really enjoyed caring for the horses and saw this as an added bonus of the stay. Fiona's home is very comfortable. The wonderful new fireplace and numerous heaters allowed for a snug stay over these colder months. Fiona and Simon provided both written and in-person very detailed explanations of what needed to be done in their absence. Fiona was also very quick to respond via WhatsApp to any questions we had. Thank you for entrusting us with all your lovely animals!
We stayed here as a family (2 adults, 3 young children) in January 2024 and really enjoyed our stay. The house was lovely, the gardens are so spacious and the cats were all beautiful. There are 7 cats altogether and none of them required any any additional help or care. All extremely loving and happy cats. Amongst them are 2 kittens (one, a newborn!!) who were just so lovely to play with. Jen and Juan were great with their communication and kept in touch throughout our stay. The shops are closeby which made things easier and the town they live in was surrounded by beautiful Parisian/French type architecture. Overall this was a lovely housit and we'd like to say a big thank you for allowing us to stay!! X
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our housesit for Trish and Adriann! It was helpful to arrive the afternoon before the trip to meet the dogs and spend time getting to know Trish & Adriann as well. We had a wonderful meal of BBQ with sides for dinner. Their home is beautiful, very clean, and has a large kitchen with every gadget you could want if you love to cook. They have a fantastic sound system in the living room and watching a movie is quite an experience! The neighborhood is quiet and safe with a very nice walking path nearby. A very helpful welcome guide was provided including names of friends and neighbors available if needed. Trish and Adriann were very accomodating, responsive to texts, and communicative prior to the sit as well. Diesel and Bleu are so easy to love and it was difficult to leave after our two week sit. Diesel is older and has some difficulty getting up but he has such a kind "old man" temperament. In spite of his mobility issues, Diesel still attempted to play ball in the backyard and went on walks at a slow pace. He loves to lay in the sun on the back patio to warm his bones. Bleu wants to be wherever you are and is such a sweetheart! She will lay on the couch with you, go outside when you go, snuggle, and warms up to new friends right away. Going for a walk (separate from Diesel) was a favorite daily event and if you want to do some excersize walking, she's your partner! Both of these kiddos are a joy to care for and we would love to come back again!
