Douglas and Alannah, you're excellent! My cats and apartment were in great hands. I would happily recommend you. In particular, I was impressed with how conscientious you were as caretakers and guests. I really appreciated coming home after a long journey to a clean home and clear communication about the status of the cats/laundry/etc. Thank you!

Elaena
We had an amazing three and a half weeks at Elaena and Matt's home, looking after the pets.

They we very welcoming, made us feel at home, and we had the pleasure of spending time together before they headed off.

Along with the girls, they are a terrific family, interesting, and the house has a lovely family home feel.

The house is very comfortable, with a lovely big Aga in the kitchen area, and the attached cottage we stayed in was peaceful.

Dusty and Daisy (the cats) were great fun, engaging, and loved getting cuddles and playing. They would often accompany us if we were walking in the extensive grounds of the house.

The hamsters were lovable and enjoying rolling around in their ball.

Elaena was very responsive to any questions we had, and gave us a really comprehensive welcome pack, which was useful, including fabulous suggestions for places to visit, shop and eat. They also had let a neighbour know we would be there and that he was available for any help we needed, which was good to know.

The house is in an amazing part of the Scottish Highlands, with a stunning and ever-changing view from the garden. Surrounded by forests, lochs, and hills there is plenty to explore. We enjoyed excursions, including visiting stunning, almost deserted beaches.

If you get the opportunity to housesit for Elaena and Matt, do yourself a favour and apply. We had a an amazing time, have precious memories, and are grateful for the experiences we had.

Rhoann
If you are fortunate enough to sit for Rhoann and Stefan, you will enjoy the most welcoming and generous hosts. They communicated clearly and sent detailed and organized information ahead of my arrival. Their cat, Nelson, is one of the most beautiful and loving cats I’ve ever met. Taking care of her was easy and highly enjoyable. Their location is fantastic as far as walkability to coffee shops, restaurants, the library, a grocery store, and even wine tasting rooms. In addition, they are centrally located for exploring wine country and hiking beautiful trails. Above all, they are loving, kind, and generous, and staying in their lovely condo was a treat. I would sit for them again any time it is possible. I consider them new friends. Thank you again, Rhoann and Stefan, for such a wonderful opportunity to stay with Nelson.

Emma and Philip are great hosts, very kind and easygoing. I had a warm welcome when I arrived at their house. Communication with Emma during the housesit was very easy.

The dogs Crumble and Rhubarb are lovely dogs, very huggable and well behaved. The cats are also super sweet. There is a dog/cat flap in one of the doors of the house so the pets during the day can come and go in the house as they please. The garden is very big.

The house is charming and in a very beautiful location on a hill with a superb view. There a lots of walks with the dogs you can do from the house in a lovely country side. Sometimes Dora, one of the cats joins us. I was very lucky with beautiful sunny autumn weather during this housesit.

After three weeks housesitting, it was difficult for me to say goodbye to Crumble, Rhubarb and the cats. :-(

This is one of those housesits you would like to do again some time in the future.

Nigel
It was such a pleasure to sit for Nigel and Sue. We knew they were worried about the sit, but they explained well and showed us where everything was and how they ran everything, so we had no problem at all during our sit. They communicated well with us and really made us feel so welcome in there home, we really enjoyed our sit and loved getting to know all the animals. I'm sure anyone that house/pet sits for Nigel and Sue would have a fantastic time. Thank you Nigel and Sue for giving us the opportunity to house/pet sit for you we enjoyed every minute of it and would love to sit for you again.
Best wishes Neil,Janine,Abi and Tristan

What a great house sit. Firstly Molly is adorable and very easy to look after. She's an older dog so not much walking but we enjoyed just having her around us.

Bob and Kathy were helpful and very welcoming. Good instructions and communication before and during our sit.

They are really easy to get along with and we stayed before and after the sit and became friends.

Great neighbourhood to explore. Really comfy bed and quirky craftsman home.

We'd be happy to sit again.
