Do not be taken in by Simons charm, It was a wonder that our dog was still alive on our return. We stated on the website we needed a sitter up to the 16/6 but informed Simon in person, in early March that we will be returning on 12/6. He kept on insisting that we told him the 16/6, which suited him best, yet he was informed several times in texts. Our dog is a working dog (therapy dog) that has a strict routine, as stated on our website. Simon was given detailed instructions of walk times, feeding and what food to give. These were totally ignored. On returning home the fridge and pantry were still full of her wet food, vegetables and fish. It appears that she had only been given dry food for the duration. It now transpires that Simon only walked her once a day, if that, and then without a lead. This resulted in her chasing kangaroos and wildfowl in the local reserve. Simon encouraged her to swim in the reserve protected ponds by throwing balls for her, which he admitted to both us and our daughter. He showed little concern of the danger to both wildlife and dog when questioned. In summary, our pet had to fit in with Simons life style and not the other way around. This is not what was expected or promised. It is unfortunate that we can not recommend Simon and we feel strongly that Zeewoi needs to vet the people offered more thoroughly.
