I had a great time staying at Steven and Carolina’s farm. Their communication was amazing; my cousin and I fully understood what would be required of us during the sit. They even put us up in a hotel and picked us up the next morning because we were landing a day earlier than they expected. Carolina and Steve met us at their house to show us around, showed us how to feed the pigs and chickens, and we even met the lovely Gracie and Hobbes. Gracie and Hobbes are the best security you could ask for- they bark at everything 😆 and they love to be close to you, they followed me around the house the whole time. Carolina and Steve have a lot of animals, but they’re all pretty low maintenance and I had plenty of time to go out and explore. They were even nice enough to let me use their farm pick up truck for getting around, which was really handy because Pegram isn’t close to any public transportation. But that’s also the beauty of it; it’s tucked away in the countryside with nothing but nature surrounding you, and I highly recommend this sit for anyone who needs that and loves animals. They’re also only about 15 minutes away from the famous Loveless Cafe, so make sure to go get yourself some biscuits and some bacon 😄
