My (Dave) mid-summer stay with Lexi in Christine and Ray’s beautiful home was paradise. My only regret was that it was too short! Lexi was a joy to walk through the neighborhood as she is known and loved by all the neighbors. Our walks together were very scenic and peaceful as Christine and Ray’s home sits in the heart of a golf course community with several large ponds with fountains and Canadian geese! During my stay, Lexi was very playful with her stuffed “baby”, chewy bones, and loves her peanut butter Kongs! Lexi is such a sweetheart and was always happy to greet me when I returned 😊 Christine and Ray's home is an entertainment dream as I enjoyed playing darts, shooting pool, and hanging out in the She Shed watching TV and enjoying cold adult beverages! Beach time there is a must during the day. Several evenings, I also took advantage of the shopping, entertainment, food, and drink venues at nearby Barefoot Landing (only 10 minutes away by car). I highly recommend this entertainment complex while you are sitting Lexi! Christine and Ray are wonderful hosts and made me feel very welcome. I highly recommend them and Lexi, and I would love to stay again if schedules align.

We had the pleasure of looking after Augie and Annie for a week and they were absolute angels. Annie is very sweet and often sought us out, ensuring she was positioned in between us. Augie has so much character and little quirks, we found that he also thrives on praise. Mick and Susan have a beautiful home and garden, which was a bonus whilst exploring Cowichan Bay and beyond. Many notable hikes are a short drive away and the neighbourhood walks we took the dogs on followed various trails. We had a great week and would definitely sit for Annie and Augie again if the opportunity came up, thankyou! Josh and Bekki
This was a great sit, the dogs were so sweet and funny. The home is in a convenient area and Tim was super nice and accommodating. I’d be happy to sit again!
Rohana and Martin are a wonderful couple with great animals. We really enjoyed our 7 week stay. We had plenty of time to explore many nearby attractions and towns. We visited the varied beaches and Tintern forests often with Koji and Saga running ahead enthusiastically but still with good recall when needed. The cats Vishnu and Kali loved their food and getting an odd love. The chickens provided a daily egg and were easy. We would happily do this sit again.
We loved every second in Lorain’s home with her loveable Labradors! These dogs are some of the best trained I’ve ever encountered - they are loads of fun to throw a ball with, are so well behaved in the home, and were a joy to walk. We even took them on multiple metro rides to the beach and people on the train would comment about great they were! Lorain made us feel so welcome and took us out on a couple of walks to show us the area. She ensured we had everything we needed and were comfortable before leaving for her trip. The home itself is beautiful with everything you need for a good stay. The location is perfect - a short walk to many paths to stroll, only three metro stops from the beach, and less than 30 minutes from the centre of Newcastle. We are hoping to return in the future for another sit - it was such a wonderful stay. Thanks Lorain!
