We were made so welcome by Gaye, Keith and Elsie! A quaint and quirky stay in their beautiful Welsh home, with plenty of leisure activities including good old fashioned paddling in the river running through the garden and plenty of land for throwing the frisbee and ball for sweet Elsie. She enjoyed a trip to the nearby waterfall with us on our short stay and was good as gold on walks and enjoyed company. We would t hesitate to return or recommend. A perfect sit, thank you so much ☺️
Helen has a beautiful home in a beautiful location. She made me very comfortable during my stay. Bella is a sweetheart of a puppy! She and I walked many miles on the local scenic trails. I will be happy to stay with Bella anytime!
We met Simon and Lisa,and their daughter,prior to the sit.We were welcomed warmly into their beautiful home,and were made to feel at ease from the get go. A lovely informal meet,with a cup of tea and good chat,about the sit,home and of course Coco and Crawford. All arrangements were made easily,with great communication. Lisa was kind enough to let us take our dog Coco along,and the three really did become the best of friends,getting on so well. We all had a fantastic time at the sit,it was magical being able to spend Christmas in such a warm,characterful home. You can clearly see they love the house,from it's beautiful tasteful decor,to its charming reception rooms and country style kitchen and boutique hotel style bedrooms. The house has everything you will need for a relaxed sit,and all the mod cons.Fantastic sea views. A nice level walk into Falmouth,buzzing with pubs,shops and good restaurants. A small beach opposite the house,tides permitting. They were very kind in putting up a Christmas tree for us,festive decorations and there were even gifts under the tree,so very thoughtful,and much appreciated. Crawford and Coco,were so great to look after,both gentle,loving and in a very good routine. Good on and off the lead,with good recall. We did the level walk to Gylly beach almost everyday,and took them over to the North coast,Godrevy on several occasions in the car,with no hassle. Coco absolutely loved a swim,and the ball,whilst Crawford,loved a more casual walk,with the occasional squirt of energy,snuffling around the many rabbit warrens. To summarise,we really can't recommend the sit enough,from the warm welcome,to the feeling of ease and relaxation.Welcoming famiy,terrific location,beautiful home,great dogs,what's not to like. Oh where do I begin! From the moment I walked in to the time I left, I couldn't have been blessed with a more perfect house sit. Christina was very welcoming and showed me everything I needed to know to make my two weeks stay simple and easy. Her house was beautiful, but more than that, I couldn't help but be impressed by all the little details that she put into the interior design and renovations of the house. Then there was Rose :) She is super affectionate, loving and playful dog. I loved going for walks with her, playing in the backyard, and she even loved to dance too haha. Plus, there was so many different areas to explore with Rose. From walking around the neighborhood in Madison Park, walking down to the lake to see beautiful views of Mt. Rainier, or just walking through the Washington Park playfield and the beautiful surroundings of the Arboretum. I was honestly sad when I had to leave as was Rose as she stood by the door and didn't want me to go. She's truly one of the best dogs. Highly recommend to anyone and would love to housesit again. Thank you again Christina!
I had a lovely warm welcome and a good tour on arrival (plus intro to the lovely Poppy!). Martin and Jane were kind enough to invite me to eat with them and settle in on the first night which was much appreciated after a long drive. Poppy is a very sweet and loveable cat so was a pleasure to look after, as was the house! The location is super special and I was very happy to be there (and sad to leave!). Thank you Martin, Jane & Poppy. ☺️I hope we meet again!
