All you might want for in a sit. The dogs were a pleasure to care for and the pace for a senior cat was not challenging. Lots of affection easy to bestow and received. Loved the locale and my comfort was wonderful. Karen and family created a special memory.
Salah and Hanan were such a pleasure to sit for! They were so friendly and made us feel very welcome in their home. They were very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed while we sat for them. They have all the amenities you’d need and internet was plenty fast for WFH. Amazing hosts all around! Their two kitties Fluffy and Ocean were some of the sweetest cats we’ve encountered! They both love attention and will follow you around the house which is really sweet. These two are extra friendly and really love being around people, so having someone that also does WFH or similar so they can spend the day hanging out with you is probably the best fit for these two. Ocean is super chill and loves to just sleep (upside-down usually on her back) next to you, while Fluffy is an adorable ball of energy who will follow you around to see what you’re up to. They get along great and it’s lots of fun to see them either cuddling together on the couch, or having a spontaneous wrestling match. We’ll miss these two kitties as well as Hanan and Salah’s hospitality, we can definitely recommend this sit and hope to cross paths again in the future!
Solin is a sweet, loving girl. She loves to go on walks and carry sticks. Even though she is still a puppy with that puppy energy, she also listened to us and knows basic commands. We loved her. The deck was fantastic for soaking in the sun and Joe was an excellent communicator, making sure we had what we needed. Joe provided a couple options of bedrooms and the shower was very nice with good water pressure. I loved the infrared bulb in the bathroom, and the bathrobe provided! He also has the dining and living room gated off so that there are spaces where Solin cannot go. The whole stay was well thought out and appointed; I highly recommend.
Thank you Kathy and Dean for choosing use and trusting us not only to look after you home but beautiful Leía, she was such a delight and full of character, making us laugh daily at her unique characteristics. Kathy and Dean were amazing hosts, taking the time to show us around their town, where to walk, good places to go, and the best eating places. Devon is a quaint town on the outskirts of Edmonton. There are loads of walking trails and many unique local tourist attractions, close to the airport and all major highways. Kathy and Dean’s home is clean, efficient and very functional, we would definitely sit for them again and highly recommend their place for a sit. Thank you again for putting your trust in us! ??? Beautiful stay in a majestic house that has an awe inspiring view to enjoy a beautiful sunset or sunrise with your favorite tea or coffee. Before arriving, Phil and Lynda always kept in contact with us, sending us pictures of there pets and daily routine. We also kept them up to speed with our daily activities. They we’re both a great host, always making us feel at home, and welcomed. We really enjoyed We really enjoyed being a remote, relaxed and tranquil environment. The view the house offers is stunning and has lots of different areas to go sightseeing. Merlin is a very relaxed, friendly, and independent cat. He is a bit reserved in the beginning, but once gained your trust will accompany you for breakfast, dinner, tea, coffee. He likes to play a bit of hide and seek, is very kind and is quite the talker. Mutt is a very tentative, loving and friendly dog. She is the first one to greet you when you get to the house, Showing you the way to the entrance. She enjoys her walks with you and is always happy to be outdoors. She enjoys her treats and was is full of energy. Billy and Sutty aren’t your typical goats, as they are very well behaved and enjoy playing in their huge open space. They don’t need much attention as they are very independent, are always alongside one another, and enjoy their daily breakfast. All in all we very much enjoyed our stay in Le Gouty, and hope to revisit Phil and Lynda and their family of pets.
Sitting for Abby was a pleasure! She was easy to communicate with while she was away and left clear instructions for me. I was very comfortable in her home and would certainly sit for her again!
