A stay at Sandra's looking after Ziggy the cat and very amusing hens is highly recommended. Ziggy is a very independent cat but loves to play in the evenings then cuddle up on your knee. Ziggy's home is delightful and very comfortable. Lovely walks from the doorstep along the river and into Appleby which is a delightful historic town. A bonus is a pub within yards which does lovely meals Sandra treated me to a meal here. All in All 5*
Tania & Jeremy were great at communicating Ruckus’ needs on the listing and also organised an opportunity for me to meet him before the sit to ensure I was an appropriate match (given that he can be reactive sometimes). Their place was lovely and very comfortable. I also had fresh eggs every day from the chickens. Tania was always sure to reply to my questions about Ruck in a timely manner. He was such a sweet boy. I’m hoping to see him around Squamish again.
Delia & Stefan are the most wonderful people you can meet. We had so much in common and spend some time before and after the sit together. The house is wonderful, so much nature around. You can go for walks/hikes starting right at the house. In the house you have everything you can wish for. The kitchen is amazing, so many books, a spa area, are just a couple of them. And then the 6 adorable cats. They are so amazing, they will go on walks with you, wait for you in the morning to cuddle with you and just enjoy your company. Not ones one of them tried to scratch me, which I think is very unusual for cats. Highly recommended housesit, if I could give 10stars, I would do that!
Lindsay's house is quaint and clean with a nice backyard and patio area. Maggie took a second to warm up to me but once she did she was very sweet and playful. Lindsay was communicative and gave awesome hiking recommendations in the area!
I was happy to be chosen for a last minute sit at Sarah's home. Jaeger and Moab are senior dogs who do love snuggles and naps (as advertised). I also enjoyed taking them for walks in the neighborhood. They were easy to care for and very endearing. Sarah was clear in communicating expectations and her home is beautiful and modern! It was a relaxing stay and I would recommend this sit!
