We had the best time looking after Hazel. Truly one of the most adorable cats we’ve ever come across - very playful & curious, while also seeking her independent space. The highlight of our stay was Hazel coming to work from home with us, sandwiching herself between our laptops for warmth and attention! Symbat & Pres have kept in touch with us over our stay for any questions we had, and they left us a clear and concise welcoming guide. Their flat is spotlessly clean, only 35 mins to King’s Cross in case you need to catch a train. There is a restaurant downstairs which was fun to try - one of the best brunches we’ve had in London for non-London prices. Would happily house sit again for Symbat & Pres.
I had such a wonderful time looking after Emma and Sir Henry! They are both such characters and you will fall in love with them immediately. Emma is so sweet, energetic and a real cuddler who just loves being around people. Likewise, Henry is such a sweet, friendly and affectionate cat. I loved cuddling up with them both in the evenings and enjoyed going on lots of lovely walks with Emma. Jess & Patrick are lovely - I was lucky enough to meet with them beforehand which was great and they completed a really detailed welcome guide and made sure I had everything I could need for the sit. They truly couldn’t have made me feel more welcome and their home is beautiful, cosy, very clean/tidy and in a perfect location, with everything you could need more or less on your doorstep. Thank you Jess, Patrick, Emma, and Henry for a great stay!
We had a delightful time sitting for Brenna in Dillon with her fur family of three. Sadie is a sweet, sweet lady, and Ruger is fun-loving, cuddly, and very smart. Both the dogs were easy to care for and a pleasure to hang out with. Olive is a purring machine when she wants attention and cuddles, but mostly kept to herself. The home is beautiful, with mountain views and convenient to everything Summit County has to offer. It was a perfect place for our family to enjoy Thanksgiving together and get outdoors to hike and cut a Christmas tree. We did not have the pleasure of meeting Brenna in person but did chat on the phone prior to the sit. She left written instructions at the house and was available by text during the sit. We would definitely return if invited and would adopt Ruger in a heartbeat! I would have liked to chat prior to accepting the invitation, especially since there was no sitter feedback, but we took a chance and everything worked out great! thank you so much.

I worked with Kristine years ago before she had this business and I am thrilled to be bringing my new dog to her for training. Kristine has vast knowledge of dog behavior and is a wonderful teacher for both the dog and the owner. So appreciate that she is in this area and providing such excellent services in a clean, well-maintained space.
This is going to be a long review, so buckle up: I rescued/ adopted a male Labrador mix that had no previous training or proper socialization. He had way too much energy, that made him hyper, destructive and unable to be safe around my other female dog. Kristine listened to me, my concerns about him and made sure both my dogs were safe. We first spoke over the phone, and then scheduled a 1:1 meeting where she made sure to get to know my dog and advice right away on what to do. My dog ended up doing two months of personalized training at their training facility where my female dog joined too for 3 weeks, so Kristine and her husband worked with her and both of them to ensure play time was safe. My dog is now house trained, follows a routine that works for him, is able to go on walks, tolerates car rides, plays with my other dog well, doesn't have hyper energy, follows basic commands, loves to do all that and above all: we understand him and his needs. This was super important to me because giving him up was not an option to consider. Kristine's routines, training, advice and patience were just what my family needed and we are forever thankful to have come across her Instagram page.
Kristine is awesome. We came to her at a desperate time for our family. Our dog Bernie has been acting out since our son was born, adding stress to an already stressful time. So we signed him up for a 3 week board & train and it was a great decision. He's a mix of multiple challenging breeds. But Kristine was able to get to the root of some of his behavioral problems and come up with solutions specific to his needs. She took the time to meet with us regularly and go over everything so that we could continue his training when he came home. She even drove out to Shandaken to do a home visit afterwards to ensure everything was going smoothly. Really can't say enough good things about her, our family is operating much more smoothly now!
I genuinely cannot not recommend Daley Obedience enough!! Kristine has truly been a blessing in understanding my rescue and has worked tirelessly with us to find new approaches to countless issues. 6 months after adopting a pitbull I realized we needed someone with some serious professional experience to help us with a variety of issues- from very basic obedience to more complex issues. I have also had a phenomenal experience boarding my dog while traveling. While I am so appreciative for my dog to have learned an array of skills that I couldn’t have done on my own, I’m even more grateful to have found a trainer who will get to know you and your dog, help you find confidence as a pet owner and constantly find new ways to tackle any obstacle you and your dog may struggle with. Stella and I always look forward to our training sessions. If I could give 6 stars I would!
We have been so very happy we found Kristine at Daley Obedience! She is extremely reliable and kind to our flock of pups and a wonderful person. We are worry warts and she is very solid, meticulous and knowledgeable with her dog care yet checks in with us if something is different with them which is highly appreciated. Amazing! Incredible! Gets Results! I have had dogs for most of my life, mostly German Shepherds. I adopted a Shepherd six months ago and was cautioned that he was not socialized to both people or other dogs. Having experience in training dogs I attempted to socialize him myself. It was a complete disaster. I then hired a different trainer than Kristine who basically couldn’t handle my dog and made me think this beautiful dog was hopeless. I saw Daley’s Obedience card at the vet’s office and felt I had nothing to lose so I called her. She was very professional and scheduled an appointment to evaluate the dog. He was his usual aggressive self and I could barely control him. I waited for Kristine to tell me he was beyond saving but instead told me give her some sessions and he would be a completely different dog. All I can say is the change of behavior in my dog was nothing short of miraculous. She completely modified his behavior. He went from trying to eat Kristine’s husband and partner Mark into a playful and obedient dog. My advice is don’t waste your time and money on a trainer who is incompetent. My dog might have ended up in the pound, and possibly put down, if it wasn’t for Kristine. I would give her 100 stars if I could. She’s welcome to give my number to anyone who wants it.
Christine Daley is an absolutely unbelievable dog trainer and has transformed my two unruly boxer dogs (that no friends or family wanted to be around) (1.5 and 2 years old), into two wonderful family dogs, able to hangout with guests, including small children without fear that their exuberant personalities will dominate the gathering or that they will unintentionally injure someone with their excessive jumping. Christine is patient with both the dogs and the owners with a proven track record. She helped me to reframe a lot of the misconceptions I had about dogs and dominance, which has changed our relationship with our dogs in such a positive way. We can't thank her enough for all she has done for our dogs and I should also mention that her prices are exceptionally affordable. The value you receive is second to none. Thank you Christine!
I would NOT recommend this place. I had a puppy training appt and Kristine was very rude right off the bat. She seemed to dislike that I had an Australian labradoodle, and particular kind of labradoodle that she was unfamiliar with, and when I told her that his breed is supposed to be intelligent and make good family dogs she said, and I quote, "Ok, I have to roll my eyes at that" and then proceeded to lecture me in a condescending manner on how that can't be known about a breed and that I really needed to be educated on that. I was taken aback and I said so. I said that her comment made me feel uncomfortable and condescended and talked down to. She snapped back that I was too sensitive and I should basically leave. So I did and told her that her comment was unprofessional and rude. She continued to place the blame on me being "too sensitive". If you have feelings and prefer to be treated respectfully then this place might not be for you. It was a huge bummer. She seems to have an attitude problem and perhaps just hates doodles and people with doodles? Idk but it sucked.
We've been bringing our dog to Kristine for daycare and for boarding for the last 6 months, and we've been super pleased! We came to Dailey Obedience after trying another daycare in the area and finding that our dog came home over-exhausted and overstimulated after an unstructured day of being constantly surrounded by other dogs. With Daley Obedience, our dog Simon comes home from daycare and from boarding fulfilled, relaxed, and clean. He tends to get overstimulated easily, so Kristine is cautious about matching him with other dogs of similar play style. When no dogs are available, she makes sure to provide him with other enriching/confidence building activities. We appreciate knowing he also has the opportunity to sleep/relax in a safe space during his periods of downtime. The dog's review is worth something as well. He is eager to get upstairs and see Kristine whenever we drop him off!
What a smart, effective, generous trainer Doreen is. It’s not just that she’s so clearly knowledgeable and experienced, but that she really took the time to understand the interplay between Boo, our pup, and us as his people (we needed training too). And she brings a wonderful balance of firmness and love to the training sessions. Boo is a rescue with a lot of southern hound in him. He’s VERY puppy but Doreen’s approach has worked wonders for all of us. We can’t recommend her highly enough.
Doreen was very helpful with my yellow Labrador Josie. She gave clear instructions and showed me simple and direct ways to use them. Her methods are as much for the owner as for the dog! I would recommend her to anyone who needs training for their dog.
Taking lessons with Doreen has been the best thing we could have done for ourselves and our pup. We and Bear have learned so much in only a few lessons it’s been tremendous. Doreen has been amazing to watch interact with Bear - he just understood what she wanted very quickly and we were able to follow up on those instructions. We absolutely recommend Doreen and Angel Paw Dog Training. We found Doreen to be extremely kind, gentle, respectful but firm and above all completely in tune with Bear so that while working on one command if it turned into learning about another one we addressed that also. Doreen has a true passion for animals. Her patient ways, focus and dedication to training results in wonderful pets. She first trained our beloved Frisco. He was just amazingly well behaved, understanding verbal commands and hand commands—and we could take him anywhere even though he was a large dog. We then asked her to train our rescue pups (brother and sister). They too are beloved members of our family and we always get compliments on how well they behave. We could not have done it without Doreen. They are all large dogs that needed training. It was the best decisions to hire a professional that knew the right techniques for each of the dogs. We will always be grateful. Doreen has a gift and we are the lucky ones that get to enjoy that gift because we get well behaved dogs that become very special members of our family.
Doreen is by far the best Dog Trainer of all time! Doreen has infinite patience for her four-legged students as well as the two legged owner, in my case, needed more training than the dog!Beyoncé’s is a sweet miniature poodle puppy who was in need of guidance and consistency which Doreen gave us and she has grown up to be the sweetest pup! We also have an elderly mixed breed who also learned quite a bit from Doreen! She has infinite patience with Beyoncé, as well as Charlie her elderly counterpart. They learned how to sit, stay, etc all the basics and we also received tips and recommendations concerning house training and also basic day-to-day behavior concerning the dogs getting along. Doreen was there every step of the way, and still is. If I have questions concerning how to proceed with Beyoncé‘s training or behavior Doreen is the expert I reach out to!
It had been a long time since we’d dealt with a young puppy. When we brought Maia home, we fast felt overwhelmed. Doreen came in and, with simple but effective solutions, took the stress away. Maia is 11 months now, and not without her challenges, but getting things right in those early days made all the difference, to set us up for success. We did a dog training cram course via YouTube university in the two weeks before our new puppy Archie arrived. We were prepared... on paper. As per the 3-3-3 rule, after three weeks with us our docile rescue pup suddenly turned into a velociraptor/land shark. He was still sweet & we were glad he wasn't scared any more, but also overwhelmed & unsure whether any of our chairs & clothes would survive his adolescence. We were smart. We called Doreen. At our introductory training session, we learned even more than Archie did. Doreen provided us with a framework upon which we can build a deeper relationship with our dog while helping him learn to listen & build impulse control. We all still have a lot to learn, but now we know how to go about it & whenever we get stuck again, we know who to call. Thank you, Doreen! You changed everything for the better.
Words cannot describe how grateful I am with the training Doreen gave to both me and my 3 1/2 year old chocolate Lab Jeter. I literally was unable to walk this 92 pound pup. Since working with Angel Paw we enjoy our walks so much and Jeter enjoys socializing with other dogs. Calling Doreen a dog whisper is and understatement. Doreen's knowledge of dogs- their instincts, their behaviors, combined with (maybe as a result of)her overwhelming love of them makes her an invaluable resource if you want to have the best relationship with your k9 you can have! I thought I had a good understanding of my pup but Doreen provided so much great insight. It was as if I was viewing my pup under a 40 watt bulb, and she unscrewed it gave me a 100 watt!! A lot of "ah-ha" moments, even for an old school know it all like me!! Highly recommend!!

Our dog Biscuit seems very at home when she stays at Dawn's Dog Boarding. We can see this through the photos shared and observing her being completely relaxed when she returns home. The setting is clean, provides plenty of exercise and good TLC. Dawn and her staff keep our dog safe by introducing her to the pack in small groups when she arrives and matching her with similar energy levels for her stay. We have many choices for dog boarding in our area and from experience we know that choosing Dawn's Dog Boarding is the best choice for our dog.
Our 5 year old dog has been staying with Dawn since he was a puppy - it is his home away from home! Dawn looks after all the pups as if they were her own, and they gets lots of love and attention, all while enjoying time and space in the beautiful Hudson Valley. I did not know about Dawn until a few days ago. I ran in to a big problem as I was staying with family as I had an emergency and my family loved my dog but the landlord says that dogs are not aloud do to insurance so my family was told my dog had to go or they had to go. My family helped me by asking everyone they knew if they could take my dog then I was looking for a dog boarding near me and I found Dawn. I called her and left a message and she called me back in a quick amount of time. I explained to her what was going on and because she was on her way out the door for the day to meet up with friends she could not take my dog that night. Dawn did let me bring my dog the next morning. I was late getting to her and she understood. My sweet Hazel got to be around other dogs and got a lot of exercise. I would recommend her to all. Dawn gave me some information that I did not know and she gave me very good information. I will be using her again when I need a spot for my sweet Hazel to go when she can not be with us her loving family. Thank You for all you do for my sweet Hazel and all the other dogs as well. I would give you more stars as I feel that 5 stars are not enough as you are way more then 5 stars.

It’s been 2 years and Morgan is a trusted partner in Homers life. She has the skills to work with him, even when unanticipated events arise. She keeps in touch when caring for him and adds to his care. We are very lucky to have connected with her!
I just had Morgan and Nick care for my 2 furbabies this past week for the first time. They were reliable and responsive. They asked questions whenever they weren’t sure of something which I was super happy about! They sent lots of pictures and made me feel at ease leaving my babies. Will definitely have them back again!!
Morgan is the best of the best when it comes to pet sitting. Morgan does drop in visits for our two dogs and I trust no one more. With a strong knowledge of animal behavior and care, and a passion for animals, I feel we get more than just a pet sitter when Morgan comes for a visit with our precious dogs. I never have to worry about their safety or care as I always know they will be treated as if they were her own.

Morgan has cared for our 2 cats several times while we were out of town. She provides excellent care, is very responsible and goes above and beyond with spending extra time with our nervous kitties. Best of all, she always sends us photos so we can see how they are doing. This means a lot, especially to my son who misses them so much while we are away. I cannot recommend Morgan highly enough!

Becca is awesome — highly recommend. My wife, son, and I were visiting the area and staying in an Airbnb with two boxers. We had been taking turns watching the dogs and visiting local attractions, hiking, etc. but we wanted a little time together with all three of us to do an activity without the pups. We can’t board them because they aren’t well-behaved enough around other dogs; and while they are fine when we leave them alone together in our house, we didn’t want to do that while we are guests in an Airbnb. Becca came over to meet the dogs and they were fast friends! She took care of them for a few hours, send pics and videos to reassure us that they were happy and in good hands, and was altogether a delight to work with. Your search for a pet sitter should end with Becca! My partner and I hired her to take care of our dogs during our wedding/honeymoon and could not be happier with the care she provided. When we first met Becca, we only had one dog, but by the time our wedding came around we had rescued another. Both of them took some time to get to know Becca/be comfortable with her, but she came by weekly up until our wedding to walk them, get to know them and bond with them. Soon enough they both absolutely loved her and we are so thankful for her commitment to animals and her job which made that possible. Becca truly understands animals and cares for others pets as if they are her own. Her care is patient, intuitive, loving, gentle, and knowledgable. She even taught our dogs a few things! If you are someone who wants updates on your pets while Becca cares for them (she respectfully asks if you do or do not want updates), then you'll be thrilled with her ability to send frequent text, video, and photo updates while she is with your animals. We never had to worry or wonder how our dogs were doing and what they were up to because Becca updated us regularly during her entire almost 2 week stay at our place. We could tell from these updates that our two dogs were so happy and calm with Becca. One of our dogs was having some separation anxiety/stomach problems, and was pooping inside/stress chewing walls. Becca was nothing but compassionate about this and happy to do her best to not only comfort our dog, but to take care of cleaning up as well. Whether you are looking for someone to care for your pets daily, during a trip, or just here and there - book Becca! You will not be disappointed, and more importantly, neither will your pets. Lastly, her pricing is fair. However, finding someone who we trust completely with our dogs, who are our children, is priceless. Thank you Becca!!!! <3
I HIGHLY recommend Becca’s Happy Paws Pet Care. I have two older ladies 15 and 16 years old. One has severe separation anxiety and the other only likes me and my husband. Becca came to do a meet and greet and both girls were so comfortable with her! We went away for 6 days and every visit I got a video and an update from Becca. Each video with both girls purring and totally at ease. We arrived home last night and these ladies were both completely happy, relaxed and comfortable. I just can’t say enough about Becca, she is a gem and she will treat your pets as if they are her own. Thank you Becca!

We were traveling for the first time since moving to a new area and needed someone to take care of our cat for the week. Becca was awesome! Very professional and communicative. I recently engaged Becca to look after my cats and was thoroughly impressed by her diligence , professionalism, communication and most of all by her love of the animals . She exudes compassion and joy with them and they responded very well to her. Both animals take meds and she adeptly managed it. Plus the photos / videos she sends settle any owner’s anxiety . Life Savers! We were stranded in the city and it was pouring rain at home. I texted with an emergency and they immediately went to my house and picked up my dog in the pouring rain and let her sleep over. Nice people all around!

Cipriana is wonderful and her love of animals is apparent. She watches our dogs and cat for us while we are away and I never worry. When we needed help with training our new rescue puppy Ruthie, Cipriana was extremely knowledgeable and very supportive as she helped teach me how to best train Ruthie. She spent a lot of time with Ruthie and I in real life situations like walking through town and helping Ruthie adjust to real life situations that can’t happen within the walls of a training school. When my mom passed away I needed to be away unexpectedly for several weeks, and Joan stepped in to take care of my kitties on very short notice - I’m beyond grateful. Joan has been our cat sitter for more than ten years now, and we cannot speak highly enough about her. We return from trips and weekends away with our cats happy, well fed, and calm. When our senior cats died, she was one of the first people we texted, as we knew she had forged special relationships with both of them. When we got our kittens (who are now four year olds), we knew that they would be in capable hands always. She is reliable, thoughtful, and caring. She goes above and beyond to play with and show affection during her visits, as you can tell by the condition the kitties are in when we return (mad at us, but overall content!). The best is when she posts "proof of life" photos on Instagram and Facebook so you can see their sweet faces when you are not at home. I would recommend her to anyone in the area who needs top of the line pet care, and her rates are very reasonable.
My two cats and I have been very lucky to have Joan in our lives for the past five years. I could not be happier with my experience as a customer and my cats could not be happier to have Joan as a friend. Joan is always easy to schedule with – she always responds promptly and confirms that she’ll be there, whether I’m organized and giving her a week’s notice or if I’m making a last minute trip and need her help the next day. I have two older cats, one of which is diabetic and requires shots twice a day, and one of which has allergies and must be given a daily pill, and is also quite shy. Joan has been able to handle these extra care needs without any problem. And she has even taught me a few tricks to get the shy one to take her pills! Joan goes the extra mile to do things like empty the recycling bin, wash the dishes in the sink, bring in the mail, etc. Most importantly to me, my cats love and trust Joan, and so do I. She has taken the time to really build a relationship with each of them. She was especially patient in getting my shy cat to come out of her shell, and I really noticed a difference that she became even more affectionate with me! When I come home from being away, my cats are always happy and at ease and my house is in order. It is worth every penny to me. Years ago, before I had Joan in my life, I would ask a friend or neighbor to check in on the cats, and there were often signs of stress – most frequently they would pee on something, like my bed – oh, so fun to come home to that! When my older cat become diabetic about five years ago, I knew I needed to engage a professional I could trust to come twice a day at scheduled times, and who had experience with giving insulin shots. And I am so glad that this led me to find Joan. It was truly life-changing. Instead of spending my vacations worrying about my babies, I knew they were in good and loving hands. I could not recommend Joan more highly or enthusiastically!

Mende is reliable, loving, and understanding. She has been walking my dog Max for about a year now and I can always trust her to be communicative, show up consistently, make sure that Max is safe, and show him love as if he is her own. I love receiving pictures and updates from her on their walks, and she’s flexible if timing needs to be changed or if there’s a special request (like to feed him after his walk). I love that I have someone I can trust to care for Max when I’m at work during the day so I don’t have to worry. Mende has also watched Max overnight once as well, which was great experience.

I always get a little nervous when leaving my fuzzy buddy behind, as I'm sure anyone does. Mendé really helped ease that anxiety by keeping up regular communication and even videos and pictures!
