Tori was wonderful over the 4 days she care for our dog. Our home was spotless when we returned. Unfortunately, the last couple of days of the sit, Tori wasn't feeling well, and still was able to keep the house clean and care for our dog. She washed every blanket and towel, and disinfected surfaces to make sure we had a low chance of catching what made her feel sick! More frequent communication throughout the day would be the only note I'd give, but that's also on me for not specifying how much communication I would've liked. I would highly recommend Tori. PS, she has an Aussie herself, which is a huge green flag when you have an active pup like mine. Would recommend!

Lauren and her husband Ryley were amazing, every step of the way! They followed all of our instructions and we came back to a home exactly how we left it. Oscar was well cared for and loved them! In addition, there were things that came up during their stay that they kindly took care of. We would happily have them again and feel we’ve gained some new friends!

Yuka was absolutely phenomenal! She took the dogs for a walk early every morning because it was too hot during the day. She sent me pictures and we communicated the whole time I was gone. She left the house very neat and clean, including picking up dog poop. I would have her back anytime!

Ken & Debra were absolutely amazing sitters! They were so excited to spend time with River and it really showed throughout their stay. We met them the night before leaving and they both were very thoughtful about asking questions and learning what to do to make sure River got everything he needed. Throughout their stay, they sent us lots of updates and communicated easily. In all of the photos we received, River seemed to be having the best time with them as they took him out on adventure after adventure. We returned to an immaculately cleaned house. Ken & Debra went above and beyond, replacing supplies around the house they noticed we were low on, even getting new windshield wipers for our car they borrowed during their stay as they were worn out. It was clear they genuinely cared about River, our house, and left everything better than they found it. We’d love to have them back anytime and highly recommend to anyone else looking!

Westly & Eileen

Westly and Eileen, were so sweet to our pups! They took our three pups for a walk and were able to capture such a sweet photo. It was awesome having an update about how the doggos were doing. They were very responsive and were able to come to our house while my husband and I were still there to meet the dogs. Westly and Eileen asked really intentional questions about making sure they had all the pups info. Our power went out unexpectedly on Saturday due to a storm and they were able to be flexible and handle the situation beautifully.

Sarah

Sarah and her partner, Benny, gave Callie (my domestic short-hair cat) plenty of love and attention. Callie keeps looking for them in the guest bedroom :-) The house was left pretty much the way I I handed it off to them. Clean and neat. I miscommunicated when Sarah needed to pick me up at the airport and when I realized my mistake, Sarah didn't have much time to finish laundry and general tidying up. It would be helpful for housesitters generally, to erase any streaming service picks that are still 'in progress.' It took me a while to figure out why all these strange movies, videos and TV shows were showing up in a 'Finish Watching' state.

Rebecca was very reliable in all communications and with our house sitting and pet care needs. She sent us daily update photos of our cats (I had requested that) which were a joy to receive. When we returned the house was in excellent condition and the pets were happy and healthy. Would trust her again and would recommend her.

Sarah was an amazing pet sitter. She took my golden swimming and followed with a complete grooming. Blondie looked great!. Both dogs were happy and well cared for. My house was clean and my yard was watered. I hope Sara will consider coming again.

Once again these guys were great. This trip I had no service. My leave time and return time were also unavoidably fluid by 24 hrs. They were super accommodating with my leave time and return time. They sent me updates and cute pics that I got when I got back in cell service. When I got home, the house was left in great condition. I had no concerns about how they cared for my home and there weren’t any issues reported by neighbors. As far as caring for my dogs, my pups can be really anxious when I get back if they weren’t given enough attention or left alone frequently. The dogs were super relaxed and healthy. Their diet is pretty restricted but they still try to sneak things they shouldn’t eat. It’s always pretty obvious when this happens because they will be having GI issues the first day or two I’m back but there was no issues with that. Between the state of my home and the behavior / health of my dogs when I got back, I’d highly recommend them as sitters.

David spent a fabulous amount of time with the dogs outside at parks and other areas where they could run and exercise. They seemed to take to him right away and he did so similarly with them. My sense was that it was a great stay for everyone.

Laura and Austin were incredible! I coordinated with Laura and she was super cool and confident with all things cats. Knowing Laura and Austin had cats of their own was a bonus — they just get it. They were self-sufficient, communicative, and very clean. They took great care of Smallish, including administering insulin shots twice a day without any issues. They sent me regular pictures and updates on how he was doing and even offered to alter their plans out of caution when he threw up. We felt totally safe to enjoy our time away knowing Smally was in good hands, and we’ve already discussed having Laura and Austin back in the future. 10/10 recommend!!!

I had a great time sitting for Derek the cat! He's easy to look after, he comes and goes as he pleases, loves his food three times a day and some strokes after eating! 

Julie and Tony are lovely and made me feel very welcome in their home. They generously cooked dinner for me the night before they left. The garden is Julies pride and joy and because I visited in hot weather I watered it every evening which took around 45 minutes. It was relaxing to connect with nature and a pleasure to sit out in the mornings to eat breakfast.

I walked to Rotterdene beach in 40 minutes and took buses into Brighton which took around half an hour. The buses run every 20 minutes so the connections are good. I had a relaxing break at Julie and Tony's place and I highly recommend their hospitality!

Very nice and helpful family. They make the sit super easy. The dogs are simple to take care of. They have a big back yard where the dogs can get plenty of exercise. The dogs love to swim and play fetch, which is an easy way to tire them out. Very affectionate dogs too

I had the best week at Sarah and Johnny's home. They were very friendly and made me feel very much at home. Aggie, Mario, Gus & Woody were lovely company. I had plenty of cuddles and laughs throughout the week. There were some beautiful walks in the grounds of the property where I was accompanied by the cats as well as Aggie. They were all so easy to look after and we slotted into a lovely routine. I was sad to leave them but am hoping to return asap.

This was a more than pleasant sit, Andrew and Herb are lovely people, their house is beautiful and perfectly comfortable and Winnie is a great pup, he was really good company and a delight to take care of! In general I had a great experience and definitely recommend this stay :))

It was a pleasure to look after Eddie and Tonga, both very affectionate and friendly pets, and the setting of Davids house in Evesbach was perfect, especially since we had some beautiful weather for our stay. It was lovely to meet and chat and share a delicious supper together before we took over.Thank you for having us,we would happily return anytime.

We couldn't be happier about the place we had as our first experience at THS. Sandra and Terry are simply fantastic. All instructions were clear and precise, verbally and written in a convenient handbook that also contained excellent recommendations to enjoy the area.
The dogs finally went with them on their journey, so we just had to take care of the hens and the house. It was easy considering that we had no experience in chicken´s care. We just had to follow the instructions and voilá, job done successfully! There were even very hot days, difficult for the chickens, but with the care tips that Sandra and Terry gave to us, it was possible to keep them safe.
Regarding the house, it is really comfortable (even with temperatures that exceeded 105°F), and it has everything you may need for a comfortable stay. We can only thank Sandra and Terry for their kindness and for opening the doors of their home to us.
