What can I say about the lovely Tess other than if you are lucky enough to have Tess offer to sit for you then do not hesitate to accept her offer. Tess was very self sufficient and diligent in her care of our dogs, who I have to say are missing her snuggles. She sent lots of photos and kept us up to date with all that was happening. The house was immaculate when we came home. Tess has a lovely personality and a very calm presence and we'd be delighted if she were able to sit for us in the future.

Alison and David are an absolute godsend when it comes to housesitting! We entrusted them with our home, our beloved dog Paxton, and our two furry feline kids JoJo and Riley, and they exceeded every expectation. First and foremost, walking back into our house after our trip felt was a joy. It was not just clean, but immaculate—seriously, it seemed cleaner than when we left it! From top to bottom, every corner sparkled. But it's not just about the cleanliness of the house—Alison and David took the time to truly care for our pets as if they were their own. Paxton was as happy and healthy as ever, and our cats JoJo and Riley were clearly content and well-loved during our absence. They didn't just go through the motions; they formed genuine connections with our furry family members, providing them with the affection and attention they needed. Communication was seamless throughout the entire process. They kept us updated regularly with photos and messages, giving us peace of mind knowing that everything was running smoothly at home. And not only were they punctual in their duties, but they also went above and beyond, anticipating our needs and addressing them before we even had to ask. And let's talk about those framed portraits—what a thoughtful and unexpected touch! David is a talented as a photographer and will be lasting reminder of the wonderful care our pets received under Alison and David's watchful eye. They are simply the best and we cannot recommend them highly enough.

RICHARD

Rick was a great house sitter and upon our return, both our cats appeared calm, which is a sure sign that they were well cared for. Rick also kept our place tidy and we returned to a place cleaner than that we had left. Our communication was clear, and Rick arrived right on time on the day the sit started. We were however not ready yet, and he kindly took a walk around the block to give us some more time. We really appreciated his flexibility. While we were away Rick kept us updated and was very responsive when we were enquiring about Theo, who often hides from a new sitter. Eventually Theo came out and was able to spend some quality time with Rick. We appreciated the patience Rick demonstrated with Theo! We would recommend Rick as a house sitter to anyone.

Grant was great looking after our high energy blue heeler and lazy cat! We came home to a tidy home and happy animals. Grant was easy to chat with and we were so comfortable with him looking after our crew. Would recommend!

Carrie

Carrie kindly came and sat for a month. When I left my rot was a little pump. When I came back he looked marvellous . She walked him a lot. He seems to of lost enough that his back knees aren't hurting. My little pom was spoilt as ever. I can't say enough about how well she took care of the house and pets. I think my dog is still waiting at the top of the stairs for her to come back. He got very close to her. Thanks Carrie and you will be very happy to have her come to you.

Brooklyn looked after my cat during a 2 week sitting - she really saved me with a last-minute booking and I couldn't be more grateful! She was clear, communicative, and made me feel at ease with my cat in her care while I was away. Brooklyn provided me with updates & pictures of my cat and was very respectful of my space & preferences. She left my apartment clean, well-taken care of, and even left behind a thoughtful gift! Emma and David arrived on time and it was clear the dogs felt really comfortable with them from the start. After we left for the airport, Emma sent us a photo of one of the cats rubbing up against David-normally the cats disappear for days when sitters arrive! They were a very friendly couple and the only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars was that they left pots and pans on the draining board which, because they are Le Crueset, rust at the top and rust the drainer. Cushions on the sofa were not plumped up after use but these are small things and perhaps I should have been clearer on what was expected.

Tina

Tina was very willing to adjust her arrival and departure for our slight shift in plans. She read the materials and asked thorough questions to prepare for the sit. A couple of ambiguities were cleared up over the first day, and from there it was clear sailing. When we returned, the considerable gardens were well tended, and Tina had brought her own blower to clean up the fallen leaves and petals at the front door! That was way above our expectations. The house and Bella were in great shape when we returned. Tina was a fantastic sitter!

Nikki was truly wonderful! She sent photos and videos of my fur baby during her sit, I could tell my dog was well cared for. I returned home to a happy dog and a clean house. I would absolutely recommend Nikki to care for your pets, she is a very kind person. Thanks so much again Nikki! Amanda

This was honestly one of our favourite sits to date! Andy and Emma are incredible hosts who made us feel welcomed as soon as we arrived ensuring we had everything we needed for a successful sit. 

At the last minute when there were unexpected issues with the heating they were quick to get space heaters to ensure our comfort and took immediate action to repair it while they were away. 

Fraser, Skye, and Angus are lovely dogs to walk, play with and cuddle.

Pixie and Saffi took to us quickly and it became a running joke that when one of them curled up on our lap we simply couldn’t move until they did 😂 so someone else had to make dinner or do whatever chore was needed. 

We were surprised to discover the one of our daily highlights became calling the chooks in from their day exploring the yard as they’d happily follow us back to their pen for the night without fail. 

We recommend this sit to anyone who loves caring for sweet animals, enjoys the peace and serenity of the English countryside with every amenities close at hand and all the comforts of home.

Really enjoyed our house sit at Brian + Lucie’s Portland home. Ed is a total sweetheart and is very easy to care for and fall in love with! Their home is beautiful and in a great location with quick access to everything in Portland. They got back to me quickly with any questions and left clear directions.

The doggie (1 year) pottied constantly in the house even with regular let outs. The home and location are beautiful. Katrina is amazing and so welcoming. You need to bring your own water for drinking unless you drink tap!
