Teresa was timely, asked good questions, took excellent care of our pets and our home, and left pets happy and home tidy. We hope she will come visit again!
We had such a fantastic time staying at Hannah’s and enjoyed every minute of it. With animals to tend to, fresh fruit to pick, sights to see and nature to indulge in we were never short of activities to fill our days there. Even though she was working in the UK, Hannah was responsive at all times to help us with anything we needed. The farm itself is very easy to manage and we quickly got into the swing of things with plenty of free time throughout the day to work in the kitchen (which provided perfect sanctuary from the midday heat!) Being new to the area and without previous equestrian training, the only challenges we faced whilst there were on occasion keeping the horses at bay, which we personally found rather exciting and exulted in the adventure of! The location is serene and idyllic, coming with a view from the terrace that you simply couldn’t put a price on. We fell in love with Zuni and Mungo who are incredibly well trained and loyal at all times - it was especially hard to say goodbye to our newfound companions when we left the farm. Every local we met was incredibly kind and offered us help and advice wherever we needed it. It was a pleasure to meet Ana, the neighbour, who showed us around her goat farm and kindly offered us fresh goat’s cheese which went very well in omelettes cooked with the chicken’s eggs. We couldn’t be more grateful for such a humbling opportunity and hugely look forward to being back soon to see how the renovation project has progressed! Many thanks.
Jessica and Dan were wonderful to sit for, they prepared a detailed video to know exactly how to provide insulin for Dorie and provided a detailed welcome packet on how to care for their home. Their home was warm and welcoming with everything one would need and the home is walking distance to some lovely restaurants and farmers market. Dorie is a sweetheart and easy to care for and only took a day or 2 to warm up to me and become my little companion, she even brought me a couple animal critters as gifts 😂 I would be happy to sit for Jessica, Dan, and Dorie again.
Antonia and Chris were amazing! We loved spending time and cuddling with Milo, Snappy and Clementi. 🐈⬛🐈⬛🐈 The instructions for taking care of them were straightforward and clear! Had a super great time with MSC! We miss them already, would love to see them again 😻
Our time in Truckee with Vino, Milo and Woody was wonderful. Kimm was an excellent, communicative host who helped ensure we were comfortable with the dogs and home, gave great tips for the area, and ensured that our needs were met. The dogs are unique individuals who bonded well with us and our 9 and 5 year old. Any apprehension I had about the breed or size of the dogs with my kids vanished when I saw the dogs quickly become protective of our family. They took us in as part of their pack and made us feel secure in the rather isolated area. Feeding, walking and caring for the dogs and turtle was quite straightforward. Kimm provided great instructions that made meal times easy. Future sitters should know that Vino has some incontinence and mobility struggles and Woody did have some messes inside. One is quite old and the other quite young, so you may find some surprises left behind. The home is large and comfortable with wonderful amenities. We very much enjoyed our time and welcome a chance to visit these great pups again.
The home is just beautiful and Busy is a sweet natured cat, that loves cuddles. I had a great time with her and felt so comfortable in the home. The printed out welcome guide was very informative and little notes left around the house also helped me find everything. And of course if I had any questions you were also very quick to answer and communication overall was just lovely. If I could I would definitely sit for you again!
It was a pleasure to stay at Tamsin's house and look after Milo over Easter. Both home and dog are lovely and I would happily do it again. I went round for dinner and to see Milo beforehand and felt very welcomed into their home, plus the food was delicious!! Milo was a bit unsure of me at first, but we bonded over walks, treats, squeaky toys and (eventually) belly rubs. It was a lovely experience getting to know him and I'm grateful to have been trusted with the responsibility.
