Laura is so kind, and her three dogs are a reflection of that. They are all so sweet and get along better than any group of three dogs I’ve ever seen. The house is lovely, and the neighborhood is very peaceful, and just a short drive from Lake Superior. I’d definitely come back!
I had a wonderful stay in Bicknacre taking care of their comfortable house and cats. I arrived a day before they left and they were so welcoming and showed me all the ropes of taking care of everything. The area was so pretty with a nature preserve right across the road. I was very comfortable staying there for six weeks and would not hesitate to return at some future time.
Ludi was an amazing host and Sacha is an absolutely adorable cat :) He loves company and will even play fetch with his toys! We were lucky enough to meet Ludi in person prior to the sit and she walked us through everything we needed to know about the apartment and about Sacha’s routine. The apartment is in a lovely part of Yokohama with quick connections to the centre of the city and some great authentic food within walking distance. We would highly recommend this sit for any other house sitters!
Suzanne and Jim are simply fantastic hosts! From the moment I arrived at their beautiful and thoughtfully designed home, I felt welcomed and at ease. Their hospitality knows no bounds, and they made sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The view of the vineyards, sunrise, and sunsets from their property is absolutely breathtaking. And let's talk about the three generations of poodles – Suzy, Betty, and Bonnie. They are the stars of the show! Each one has their own delightful personality, and spending time with them was an absolute joy. These adorable poodles love exploring the expansive property, and they even took me on some secret hikes where we could chill under the shade of the trees. Overall, my experience at Suzanne and Jim's place was beyond compare. Their warmth, generosity, and the company of the lovely poodles made it a truly memorable and unforgettable stay. I can't wait to visit again!
What a treat it was to look after Jack and Musa. They are quite the characters, Jack a tiny baby (too damn cute), super cuddly, playful, allows everything, and with an almost scary obsession of food. Musa a very cuddly and kneeding-loving lady. Will come bring you cat toys accompanied by a loud meow when she’s ready to play. Jack will try to steal her shine whenever Musa gets a rare moment alone with you, she’s feisty with him though and not to be messed with. They both slept on the bed with me which was very cosy. Communication went well with Paolo and Martha, they made sure I knew my way around the apartment and had the best recommendations in the area. Their studio is very comfortable and stylish as well, like an urban jungle and a sunny balcony. These bad-ass one-eyed mini panthers are so adorable, I miss them already. Martha and Paolo, thank you for picking me as your cat / house / plant sitter. Hope we’ll meet again in the future!
