I met with Noah once for a handover of their incredible home and then to meet the wonderful brood of chickens and a handover with comprehensive notes written by the girls which was cute. Everything was clear and communication good and felt happy with the rapport. I’ve never taken care of chickens before and I was pleasantly surprised with how unique and individual their personalities were. I enjoyed spending time with them daily collecting the odd yummy egg, watching them free range, cleaning their coop and generally being around them. The house is wonderful, cosy and tastefully decorated and homely in a fantastic location. Thanks Noah & Kate
We house-sat for Victoria in July. It was a fairly short notice house-sit as she was let down by another sitter. We fortunately were in the region and were very happy to help Victoria and her furry friends out. Victoria, after accepting us as her Sitters was brilliant with her communications, always prompt and to the point which is always appreciated when asking questions. Victoria's dog, Ginger, was at first very wary of us and we had to treat her and the situation very respectfully but after patience and plenty of with time spent with her she became more and more affectionate with us which was very heart warming. Ginger occasionally suffers with gastro upset, this will cause her belly to rumble and she'll go off her food a little; Victoria again communicated excellently by forewarning us this might occur and advised us of the medication that would be required. Victoria's kitties were so so cute, vocal and loving, especially Moxi. Pirate Jenny was a little more timid but if you spend plenty of time with her she will warm to you, as she did with us. Overall we spent a good while each day playing and cuddling with these adorable cats. Victoria's home is incredibly well located, just moments away from the Metro, even for the slowest of walkers! This of course opens up the entire of D.C. for exploration! Victoria also runs an Airbnb from her home, which we had the pleasure of partially managing whilst she was gone. This proved to be completely problem free. As for Victoria, well she's just delightful and a very intelligent lady who, like us, loves to travel so we had plenty to talk about. Victoria was very generous and even took us out for a delicious lunch, where we chatted about our travels and her previous adventures together. We'll miss Victoria and her beloved furry friends and we hand on heart recommend this house-sit.
Wow, what can we say, we've just had the pleasure of Nesh's company for a 4 day long weekend and it really was a pleasure. Nesh is a small dog with a big personality & a lovely character, and honestly even though our hosts (Shahaf & Vlada) were crystal clear on their instructions, Nesh is perfectly capable of reminding you what he needs and what time he needs it (never met such a clever fur baby).... Their home was lovely, clean & tidy and Shahaf and Vlada went out of their way to welcome us (even leaving us a welcome basket of treats, such a lovely and unexpected treat). The location was perfect - everything is on your doorstep (supermarkets, restaurants etc) and it is only a 6 min walk to the nearest tube station. We couldn't have asked for better, even their neighbours were on hand to greet us & introduced themselves should they be needed as well as others in their local community whose details were left for us in case they were needed. If you're looking for responsible pet owners who are caring, kind, supportive and so very welcoming then you're in the right place. Thank you so much Shahaf and Vlada (and of course, Nesh), we will definitely keep in touch and would love to take care of Nesh again if needed in the future.
I had a good sit at Annie's. She communicated well and left detailed instructions for taking care of the kitties. The house is large, comfortable, and in a nice northeast neighborhood near restaurants, coffee shops, and a Safeway grocery store. Simone and Selah are sweet cats. Selah is very affectionate and warmed up to me right away. Simone is a bit more cautious, but by the end of my stay, she was warming to me as well. I recommend this sit.

Backyard bones was a game changer for my house! Michele helped me work with my two dogs on practical training in my home. My dog also attended daycare at the Backyard Bones facility in Carmel and had a blast. She came home a happy and tired puppy. I am so happy I found Backyard Bones!
Backyard Bones is an amazing facility with equally amazing staff. The facility provides a safe and clean environment for dogs of all breeds and sizes to come play (or swim!) The owner, Michele, has an impressive dog training background and is very friendly. Bandit had an amazing time and left a very tired puppy. I would definitely recommend!
Backyard bones is amazing! Especially their grooming services! Desteni their groomer, is extremely friendly and amazing at what she does. I’ve been taking my goldendoodle to see her since he was a baby. My dog adores her and gets so excited to see her. Highly recommend backyard bones and Desteni if you need an amazing groomer!

Our puppy has been going to Backyard Bones for a little over a year. Just the fact that we drive 35 minutes out of our way to get her there should speak volumes of the facility, staff and ownership. On top of playing and socializing, there are also options for training, swimming and grooming. Our groomer Desteni is absolutely amazing, and takes such good care of our baby. Every time we pick our pup up from Desteni she looks and smells amazing!!
Backyard bones is amazing! I’ve been bringing my dog Nala for almost a year and they are truly the best. I’ve seen a huge improvement with nala’s behavior since bringing her and she literally can’t contain her excitement when we pull up to the door. Michelle and her staff are always doing a fun activity with all the dogs. Besides the daycare they also offer grooming with Desteni who is the best! I have another dog Louie who is more difficult and she always does the best job on him! So happy I found backyard bones 🩷
Destiny has been my last and new dogs groomer for the past few years now. She's the absolute best and really cares for her clients. The professionalism she shows carries in her work and my puppy always leaves there looking clean and beautiful. She's the best when it comes to grooming. I would recommend anyone to go to backyard bones to get your pet taking care of. All the staff are very friendly and professional.
There are not enough words to describe how great Backyard Bones is. Michele, the owner, is the best out there and her love of dogs is shown throughout the entire facility. From the happy hour passes, to the awesome groomers, and all the daycare activities, our lab is always nothing but happy to stay & play with her friends. The staff here are trained, attentive & caring. Kayla always comes out of Backyard Bones wagging her tail and smiling after a day of playing. I whole-heartedly trust and recommend this awesome facility.
Horrible! I adopted a 7 month old lab and I scheduled an appt for doggy day care. They called me and asked that I email Vaccine paperwork and I did. I got there on the appt date and they informed me that they didn’t see the email and at that time they saw the email. My dog was so excited and then they said she was missing the bordertella shot and couldn’t start. I took her to the vet next week and scheduled another appt. At the next appt. to start day care, they said that they start her off by socializing her with one dog at a time until she gets used to it. After 3 minutes, they asked me to come back in a few months because she was scared of the dog. Mind you, we have a dog at home and she socializes with other dogs with no issues. Then they gave me info on training her with a group of dogs but they just told me that she was scared of other dogs, which makes no sense. I felt that they just did not want the dog there. She is not an aggressive dog at all. I was trying to reply to your comment but couldn’t. On your Instagram message, you stated that Xena showed her teeth and teeth is perceived as aggression, which you didn’t tell me in person but mentioned it in your reply to my message on Instagram. I was not disputing the need for vaccine but the fact that I emailed you all of her paperwork and you didn’t bother to go through your emails. You waited until I was there with the dog to say that she needed the vaccine. Had you told me when I sent the email 5 days ago, I would had it done by the appt.
