Jill and Bernie are awesome in all regards. Not only are they delightful and interesting people--the kind you naturally would want as friends, but they are amazing with pets. One of our cats is a bit shy, she usually takes a week or so to get comfortable, but within a day she was sitting on both of the laps! We trusted all of our house to them and they left it as clean and tidy as it has ever been. Bernie even raked leaves and mowed grass, though he was not asked to do so. We strongly recommend them for any sits! Your house and your pets will definitely receive top notch care!
We hit the jackpot when Janette answered our request for a pet-sitter. In fact, we wish that we could give her 6 stars in all categories! We had a good rapport through email before we even met Janette in person. She was thoughtful enough to ask if there was anything that we needed from the USA that she could bring us, and she was even able to find my favorite shade of lipstick that is not sold in France. Throughout her month-long stay, Janette kept us up-to-date with emails and photos of Farfel, our dog, which were very much appreciated. And she was simply fabulous with him, taking him for great adventures and hour-long walks. Even we, his parents, had not been able to get him enthusiastic about taking walks, but Janette is some kind of dog-whisperer. Neither did she blink when we asked her to administer eye and ear medications when Farfel developed an allergy just prior to Janette's arrival. Our neighbors have told us that she was very conscientious and also was friendly with them. We returned to a healthy, happy dog and a clean house. What more could we ask for? Thank you Janette!
Ken was amazing. He sent daily updates on Evie and was very attentive to her daily habits. Evie is pretty wary of strangers and she had zero hesitation meeting Ken, she actually started loving up on him right away (not normal). That was a relief! Evie and I are grateful for him and hope he’ll stay at the house again next year. Thanks Ken! You’re a gem
