Taya did a great job keeping Java’s teeth sparkling and her coat shining (after her bath) while she boarded! And as always the canine coaches/staff kept her happy and well cared for while we were gone! We had no worries about our sweet girl while on our vacation!

I was so excited to give Dogtopia a chance when we first moved to town. Our lab mix boy has loved going to daycare for years. Unfortunately, They take your dog off with a stranger, into a room and "decide" whether they will be able to make it there or not. I have little faith in that process. Of course dogs are going to be nervous, especially when I told you so. Guess we won't ever be trying here again either, because you only get 1 chance.

I adore this place and everyone that works there! From boarding to training sessions, they have hands-down the best employees! They are professional and approachable throughout the doggy chaos. As a nurse, I have a hectic work schedule, Dogtopia has put my mind at ease when scheduling day care with them and I know Truman is in great care, not to mention I know he is having FUN. We have been working with Stephanie T. for training, she is everything you would want in a trainer and more. She is kind, collaborative, knowledgeable, and energetic. I could go on and on about this place, thanks for all you do you guys, you are appreciated more than you know. Truman and I are lucky to have you!

I began bringing my dog here last August as a puppy. This place was amazing at letting him socialize and burn off energy. We loved puppy club on Saturdays and really appreciated the report cards after each day. Crate time also helped train my dog at home. The last few months, there was a sudden change in our experience. I started to notice that I didn't recognize any of the employees, and they didn't know my dog. The employees used to know every single dog, and get so excited to see them everyday. I used to think the staffing issues were related to pay (since I have seem job listing's online and employees don't earn nearly enough to live off of), but now I can see it's how they are treated that makes them quit. I watch the camera while my dog is there and sometimes he is just put in the crate for an hour or two and forgotten about. I pay for play, not sitting in a crate. Employees also stopped paying attention to dogs. Their remedy for separating dogs is putting them in crates and walking away, which works in 5 minute increments, not hours. Report cards have been nonexistent for months. They haven't gone outside in weeks, even on nice days. By the time I come by to pick up my dog (around 4pm), all the dogs are crated in a dark room already. There's no longer passion here. Just business. I found a new place that is cheaper and way better at giving the dogs sufficient play.

I took my dog here for training while back and it was disgusting. The fans and ceilings were caked with dirt. It smelled strongly of pee to the point of an ammonia stench. They claimed to have cleaned the floors and they were wet and drying most of the time on arrival. The only time I felt like my dog was learning and playing in a clean environment is when we were outside in a little fenced in area. The kennels I saw in the rooms I was in were rusty. Don't board or let your dog go here! It isn't clean! I had a few friends tell me that their dogs went here for daycare and came home stinking of pee. This is why. I'm assuming they'll take this down since it is super negative but maybe one of two people will see it before they do.

Friendly staff, report card at the end of the day, which I always look forward to reading to hear about his day! You offer grooming, training, it's a one stop shop and I love it! Rocky is exhausted when he comes home from doggie daycare!! It fill his doggy cup with seeing his friends, getting in exercise, and a change of scenery!

I want start off and say our experience started off great. Our Dalmatian had a lot of fun, the staff seemed to really like her, and all our report cards came back very positive. However our Dalmatian has been asked not to come back for some odd reasons. The assistant manager at Dogtopia claimed that other dogs were struggling to understand her because of her markings, her body language differed from “typical” dog body language, and she can’t self regulate her energy as well as other dogs. What is puzzling for us, is that they claim there were no incidents of aggression, nor hurt any other dogs. They asked us to bring our Dalmatian back when she’s more socialized. But seeing as she is a 4 month old Dalmatian puppy, it’s expected that she may have trouble regulating her emotion, or not fully understand other dogs social cues. I’m not quite sure where she is to socialize with other dogs and learn these behaviors outside of daycare. I have no issue with whatever policies dogtopia may have, but they knew she was a puppy and a Dalmatian when they agreed to have her. So her markings aren’t something new, her high energy should have been expected, and we had nothing but great report cards until she was “expelled.” If she had bit another dog or there was an incident, I would totally understand, but it feels as though she’s being kicked out for things they should’ve known wouldn’t work for them from the beginning, or they’re making some kind of knee jerk reaction for not being familiar with a high energy breed.

Kailah was absolutely amazing!! She listened to everything that we wanted done and was super nice!! It was our first time taking our Mini Bernedoodle there and it won’t be the last!!

The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. I could tell that each one of them truly cared about their work. During our meet and greet they took the time to answer any questions I had. My dog seemed to love his first time at doggy daycare! We will definitely be returning to Dogtopia for daycare, boarding, and grooming services.

Our dog can’t contain his excitement when we drop him off for a day at Dogtopia. He sleeps well after spending a day there. The staff seem to enjoy interacting with him and are alway kind and polite.

Sasha’s Pawlz has been a lifesaver for my dog after he developed separation anxiety - he is not a typical candidate for most dog daycares but has been doing well with Gen. I love that it’s a home environment and that the dogs seem to get a good balance of play time and chill time. The backyard space and the outside time are also a huge plus. Scheduling and payment is easy and any updates or issues have always been communicated. I think dog daycares are a difficult business to run well, but Gen is incredibly dog savvy and does a fantastic job of it.

Gen cared for my rabbits and turtle for two weeks while I was out of town - a length of time which seems like an eternity to some pet owners. I was already confident of her caretaking abilities due to her prior experience with rabbits, but I was very pleasantly surprised at how well she cared for my turtle as well given that it was her first experience with them. She provided daily updates with photos on their well-being and behavior, and paid great attention to detail to the instructions that were provided (especially for my special-needs rabbit). There's no doubt in my mind that I'll be looking to Gen for all my future pet-sitting needs!

Fantastic! She has been a miracle worker for our two young, wild huskies! My wife and I have wild schedules and the peace of mind knowing our fur kids are in great hands is more than worth the price! They are always nice, tired, and well behaved after every time! Cannot recommend enough to everyone!

The only service I trust to care for my pets. Always reliable and great quality care. Even back when I learned that my cat will require medicine 3 times/day for the rest of his life, Gen was able to accommodate. I'm so grateful for the peace of mind she provided every time that I had to leave town for the past couple of years. I highly recommend her.

Love Luna Pet Resort! We've tried a few places in the area but I feel like they provide the best play time for our dog and the staff is way more personable than other boarding places. I never worry about our dog when she stays with them, and she's super tuckered out when I pick her up so I know she had a fun time ☺️

We boarded our dog, Sophie, for a weekend while we went out of town. The staff were all incredibly great and treated Sophie with the care she needed. Our pupper can be an anxious one when put in new situations. The staff communicated with us about giving her her own space and sent us pictures. Sophie looked so happy and we will definitely be using Luna Pet Resort in the future! They also have lots of add ons to make your pet's stay even more comfy, such as snacks and care packages. We added a bath for our dog's stay and she was both happy and clean when we picked her up!

I brought my puppy to Luna Pet Resort for her first sleepover last night and she loved it. I was nervous about letting anyone else care for her (since she’s my baby!), but they made me feel confident that she was in good hands. She got hours of play time with new friends, a big room with a comfy sofa to herself, and lots of love from the staff. When I came to pick her up, she looked so happy and at home at Luna.

Winnie goes absolutely CRAZY for Luna! As soon as we pull into the parking lot, she couldn’t care less about us, she just wants to get inside and see her friends! Clearly she is well taken care of during her overnight visits to have so much excitement to return each time. We love that we can have photo updates sent to us during her stay and we love that we always get a tired pup for a day or two after she’s there. We would highly recommend Luna to anyone needing dog care in the Madison area.

I have been very happy with Luna Pet Resort. Cali is an anxious dog so it is great that she can have a nice room away from the commotion. She also doesn't always do the best with other dogs and they take the time to figure out which dogs she would interact well with. They even offered to have someone sit with her while she eats to make sure she actually eats. I appreciate getting a couple of photos of her stay.

We love Luna Pet Resort. I’ve had several dogs stay here. My senior dog was well-cared for and spoiled but has since passed away. Our new puppy is almost a year old now and has been with Luna since 4-months old. She and we LOVE the resort. She is well cared for and loves her “vacations”. The staff is loving and the owners are the biggest dog fans I’ve ever met. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with our little girl.

Words cannot describe how much I truly love Luna Pet Resort!! 👌 A friend of mine who lived in Waunakee told me about Luna so we setup a time to come take a tour of the facility. Immediately I was impressed with how much it didn't look like a typical kennel. The rooms looked like rooms in a home. The dogs instantly felt comfortable walking around and absolute loved everyone - and so did I! As we departed for our trip I felt completely at ease about leaving our little furry loved ones. I also received daily updates on how they were doing - which I loved! Also during their stay they received complimentary baths and their belongings were cleaned. When we picked them up we were greeted by everyone who came to see them off. Everyone at Luna really treated us like family and I would recommend them to anyone. 💙🐶🎉

I found Luna Pet Resort last minute before leaving for a work trip after my original plans for my dogs fell through and they have become my new favorite place to take my babies. Walking in my dogs and I were welcomed with warmth and the staff listened and responded to my questions and concerns and were gentle with my dogs who get anxious around strangers. While away I received daily photos of my babies happily playing with others and getting love from the staff. When I picked them up they were happy and I can tell they became comfortable with the facility.

These guys are thorough, friendly, and competent. They know my kitties, and I trust them.

Wonderful place for our two kitties to stay while we were gone. Staff is caring and it's obvious that they love kitties as much as the cat parents that bring their fur babies there to stay. The rooms are spacious and clean and lots of nice little areas to hide or play in . The cameras to watch are a great comfort for those of us that worry about their babies ,much piece of mind there. We'll certainly bring Gertie and Derek back again when we have to travel somewhere for more than a day. Thanks , Janie and Jeff (mom & dad )

Wonderful staff! I had to board by two cats here while I was out of state for a week. My one kitty is 16 and I was very worried she would be stressed and deteriorate while boarded. They took such good care of the cats, even using their own food when my cats wouldn't eat/ran out of what I sent along. The staff is very accommodating, responsive, and gentle with the cats. I couldn't recommend this more, it's an excellent place for your cats. I really appreciate the camera view as well. I would check in whenever I had a chance and saw that they were both just fine. :)

Hotel Sisal is a great place to board your feline family member. The accommodations are excellent--large, clean, safe, and feline friendly. The staff members are friendly, caring, gentle, and loving. When I arrived to pick up Sweet Pea, a staff member had her out of her accommodations and was playing with her and showing her love and friendship. To my surprise, Sweet Pea was enjoying herself so much that I had to convince her it was time to say goodbye and come home. I am thankful that such a wonderful place exists when boarding is needed. Thank you to all the staff for taking such loving care of Sweet Pea and giving us both a great experience. They book up fast in advance, especially for upcoming holidays, so plan far ahead. Schedule a stay at Hotel Sisal…you and your feline will be happy you did.

Hotel Sisal is an amazing place to board your cats! I've had both of my cats stay here multiple times, and they do really well. One of my cats is a senior and has had a few medication/diet changes since his first vist. They always make sure that feeding instructions are up to date if your cat has stayed in the past. Prices are super reasonable, especially for the quality of the enclosures that each cat has! The cameras are also an amazing feature, I love checking on them when I can.

Friendly staff, easy booking, affordable prices, cameras. Boarding your kitties with Hotel Sisal is something I recommend to everyone in the Madison area. Booking through their website is easy and straightforward, and staff/management are helpful with any issues. Additionally, the staff actually genuinely care for and love your animals - I hadn't boarded my cat in several months and when we returned the staff was so excited to see her. I sleep well knowing she's with the crew at Hotel Sisal, and my cat does too.

We love this place! Our cat loves staying here, spending most of his time wandering around and sleeping on armchairs while the employee's work. We take long trips fairly regularly and are so grateful Hotel Sisal exists.

This place has been simply wonderful! The staff are so friendly and they have taken really good care of our lovely cats. It was our first time to try the cat boarding hotel like this, and we were a little bit concerning before. But it seems that our cats were feeling even more comfortable there compared to our home lol. 100% recommended!

I'm so grateful for Hotel Sisal! The staff and cat accommodations are just wonderful. We recently boarded three of our cats in one good size enclosure that had multiple levels with room for lots of sleepy spots and two litter boxes. One of our cat is really shy but the staff always do a great job of providing spots for those scaredy kitties to decompress. They even have a few low mobility enclosures for cats who can no longer jump or climb well. I just love that there are cameras in each enclosure that allow you to view your cats 24/7. We often checked in on our scaredy cat at night to view her looking out the enclosure at the other kitties across the way. Staff will administer some meds at an extra, minimal fee and there's a vet tech who can be hired to come in to do other medications, if available. They are appointment only but there's staff there 7 days a week. I definitely recommend Hotel Sisal for anyone who wants the comfort of knowing their pets are well taken care of while you're away.

My cat family recently had a long weekend stay at Hotel Sisal and it was fantastic! Everyone was well-looked after and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Being able to see the live camera views was great for peace of mind as well. Will definitely be booking with Hotel Sisal again when I go out of town!

Before the boarding: The staff was very responsive to emails when trying to book, was patient answering questions from a nervous first-time-boarder. During boarding: Staff still very responsive and gave regular updates. The camera worked really well and I was able to keep track of how my cat was doing. The rooms were very spacious and full of spaces and blankets to keep my cat cozy. My cat needed two medications and they administered them without issue. Overall I could tell my cat was well-cared-for.

Out-U-Go is actually the best. I have a lot of pets with varying ages, needs, and personalities, and never once have I felt unsure that they would be safe with the Out-U-Go team. They’re patient, transparent, and flexible! I hope to be using them for a very long time.

Out-U-Go has been remarkably responsive to our scheduling needs and, most importantly, to our beloved dog. The walkers all leave lots of details that demonstrate how well they know our dog and how much they like her. That means a lot to us.

We have been w Out u Go for 7 years now. Every single dog walker we have developed relationships with has been extraordinary. I feel comfortable leaving my special needs pets in the hands of out u go staff and some of their walkers have become personal friends. I cannot recommend this service any higher than outstanding, we love Out U Go!

These people are the best. After every visit we get a photograph and a write up about how our cats are doing. We're able to relax and enjoy ourselves knowing that they're good hands. Once when we were unavoidably delayed by a medical emergency and the food ran out, our caregiver went out and got more out of his own pocket and took care of Clarence and Belle until we could return. If you love your animals like we do, these are the people to trust. We really appreciate the fact that when we come home, the cats are glad to see us, but not flipped out, because they had such good care while we were gone.

I can't say enough great things about Out-U-Go! I highly recommend Out-U-Go! to anyone looking for a pet "watching/walking" service! They are amazing! Due to some unexpected and untimely circumstances, we found ourselves in a predicament when nobody in our household was able to take our 2 year old chow chow (Artie) out for his daily morning and evening walks. In desperately needing someone the next day, we were so fortunate to have been referred to Out-U-Go! by a competitor. OUT-U-GO! owner, Lisa, was able to squeeze us into her busy schedule the same afternoon we called her to meet with us and to get to know all about Artie - personality, likes, dislikes, etc. Artie immediately liked Lisa as did we. Based on this visit, we were sure that Artie would be in great hands! So, for the next couple days Artie had the pleasure of taking two morning walks with Matt, one evening walk with Todd and one evening with Michelle. All 3 of these individuals were super personable, outgoing and dedicated to their job and to their care with Artie. We could not have been happier with this whole experience! We will definitely use Out-U-Go! again in the future when the need arises!

Truly lifesavers. I first contacted Out-U-Go when I was starting a new in-person job and the rover sitter I'd booked with for my puppy cancelled last minute. Out-U-Go was able to set up a meet and greet the very next day at my home. From day one I had a great experience. Mei was incredibly kind and thorough when we discussed details and procedures. Most importantly, she was amazing with my Frankie girl. To be honest, I could sit here and write paragraphs detailing how thoughtful and flexible the process has been with Out-U-Go, but I'll leave it at this: Mei, Ryan, and Rachael have taken such good care of my baby. They are kind, communicative, and always have Frankie's best interest at heart. I admit to being peak overprotective mama drama, and they have managed to earn my trust and appreciation quickly and without doubt. I truly would not have made it through the anxiety spiral that has been my first month at my first in-person job since 2019 without them. Thank you three so much for everything you have done and continue to do.

Five stars - 10/10 - 100% recommend Happy Dog Boarding and Daycare. I’m so happy to have found Amy! My boy Hank absolutely loves her and her husband, Jesse! Hank is always excited to be at their house and I always feel at ease leaving him in their care. They truly love him as if he was their own. When Hank is at Happy Dog he goes on walks, chases squirrels around the fenced in yard, gets lots of playtime (sometimes with other doggies friends) and plenty of snuggles and kisses. He’s a Happy Dog 😊

We have had the good fortune of having Amy and Jesse watch our dog for 7 years. He has stayed with them for up to 3 weeks at a time. They have watched him when he has had special needs from being injured or needing a special diet, and they have always given him good care. They are great about sending us photos and updates and we have recommended them to other friends. We like that he is in good company with other dogs and that he isn’t overwhelmed with larger dogs like at the dog park. He has always been very excited to go there. We (including Freckals) truly feel like it’s his home away from home.

Amy shows phenomenal care for my pup every time he's there. He's always happier arriving at daycare than leaving.

I have been taking my dog Stella to Amy for years, Stella absolutely adores Amy! Stella is getting older now and the number of people I trust with her care has dwindled to 1. It's Amy. If you need somewhere to leave your fur baby for a week or just just for a day, Amy is your girl! 100%.

I cannot give enough praise to the owners and staff at Hickory Hills. To say they treat your dogs as family is an understatement. When I was out of the country, my lab had a medical emergency that was quickly and contentiously identified by the kennel and he was taken to get the appropriate care he needed. They truly saved my dog’s life with their dedication and attention. The owner stayed with him until he was out of surgery and has followed up since coming home. The kennel itself is a perfect location with lots of space for the dogs to play and a nicely maintained facility. I cannot recommend them highly enough to express my gratitude and appreciation for the owners and staff at Hickory Hills!

After taking my dog Selah to a daycare for a year they told me she couldn’t attend because she barks too much. Even the trainer tried to work with her there and they gave up. So I went to Hickory Hills and they were patient, kind, and have loved on Selah so much! This daycare is top notch and run by a fantastic compassionate and responsible team. Highly recommend!

Check in and check out process was very smooth. They took excellent care of our dog over the weekend. We will definitely be using them again in the future!

We have been using Hickory Hills 3 years! They treat my dog as if she is theirs. I love the staff! I go out of my way to take Lucy there.

I cannot say enough great things about Hickory! I was out of the country for a month last summer and they took great care of Ace and kept me updated on him which relieved some of my worries. Ace is a frequent flyer here and he loves going even though he's hesitant the first minutes walking in ;) . I trust them 110% with my fur baby!

The Kirbster loves doggy daycare days! He runs to the gate to meet his human and dog friends. For me, it's always worth it to have a tuckered of dog at the end of the day.

I have been bringing my dogs here for years. The staff is excellent and most importantly my dogs come home safe, tired, and happy! Great experiences all around.

Our dogs love it. The one would prefer to go there everyday if she could. But yes it is a little pricey especially if you are only boarding one dog.

Been taking our dog to daycare here for a couple years, and have used the kennel twice. I have had nothing but great experiences. The staff is friendly and really seem to genuinely love our dog and other dogs. Would recommend 10 out of 10 times!
