I read the reviews of Uncle Shawns and I decided to book an appointment for my puppy's first time grooming experience. I booked it a few days ago for this morning. I showed up there on time this morning but Uncle Shawn was nowhere to be found and didn't call me back. I called a few times. Twenty minutes later he did call me back but I had already left by then. He told me that he would meet me in front of the house and I can give him the dog. I told him that I'm not going to just drop off the dog in front of the house, for all I know "Uncle Shawn" could be some random guy. So I never did get to Uncle Shawn's grooming service. He might be very good. Most of his reviews are good but the two that I read that aren't, are very, very bad; but it's clear that he doesn't prioritize this business. Maybe he needs to understand that a business requires responsibilities and he needs to be more on the same page with his clients. If I'm paying him $100 he needs to be much more present and at least have some idea when my appointment is.

As a result of my experience with zen animals, I was referred to Uncle Shawn‘s Petcare by my veterinarian technician, daughter! Nowadays it’s nice to feel comfortable with whom you entrust with the care of your pets. Although I had to travel from Brooklyn to the Bronx, it was worth the trip! The two pups, Prince and Sugar were well groomed and they didn’t appeared to be traumatized from being there! Happy to be picked up as one would expect but well cared for by Shawn! So you see it truly makes a difference when people who provide a service do so with their utmost care and respect of persons and PETS too! I will be travel the distance again to Uncle Shawn’s place when the time comes for them to get groomed in the future if I don’t take them to Atlanta to my nephew’s shop to get groomed before I myself attempt to, do-it-myself!!!!!!! My wife and I struggled to find a groomer for our dog today. After a long search on Google, we found Uncle Shawn's Petcare. Shawn did an excellent job with the grooming, exactly as we had instructed. It took only about an hour, whereas other salons usually take at least two hours. We were impressed with how Shawn handled our dog. In other salons, our dog would come out very tired (we suspected they sedate our dog), but with Shawn, our dog was just as active as before. Shawn offers the best value for money, charging less than commercial salons while delivering high-quality service. Shawn knows how to handle dogs well. Shawn has a grooming van and can come to your place.

Shawn was very gentle and kind with my sick dog. My pup never cried or pulled away. These are before and after pics. The cut was even, and natural, the way I wanted it. I would highly recommend him.

This is my Chihuahua OB that Uncle Shawn's Petcare Shawn and Crystal the owners gross negligence killed on June 26th 2024 Come to find out that they don't have a business license and insurance for some time As of this date now 6/16/24 This company still has been negligent by dealing with my woes. I'm doing litigation through the courts the local news And talking with the ADA of possible criminal charges. Sad UNCLE SHAWN'S PETCARE

Took my yorkie "chase" to Shawn showed him a picture of the cut I wanted on him. Left and came back and the cut was exactly what I wanted. Shawn was very personable and gave chase an amazing cut. I highly recommend him for the cut you want for your dog.

I made an appointment for 4:15 today and when I arrived at the location they had a sign that said “Don’t ring bell, call Shawn’s cell”. I called about 5 times and did not get anyone. It’s been a good 20 mins and I was standing outside waiting for someone to come around and meet me to groom my dog. I even sent a text saying i was here and that I’m calling and not getting anyone. Very weird to have an appointment and not have anyone answer or show up. Definitely a fake business or a scam. Please avoid these people.

Uncle Shawn's Petcare is amazing, genuine, comfortable, tender and of course professional. We apologize for the delay in this review so busy lately. Our boy Rottweiler mix 1yr 3mos was so pleased in April 2022, (after he realized he wasn't going into the wash place of doggie horror 😆)when he had a different experience for being in a grooming place with a kennel. It was no distractions and calm energy given. We truly have found a real groomer who is compassionate in his profession. Appreciate your time, work, travel and care Uncle Shawn 🐾💌✨pet are for us‼️

I took my shih tzu bella to Shawn and he did an awesome job..he was very professional and to top it off he gave her a walk. I am definitely recommending him to my friends.

I’ve used paws and play twice now for boarding. My dog is incredibly happy whenever I pick her up and it’s clear that the folks working here really love dogs. I just dropped her off for another stay, and Chris came around and scooped her up with no issues at all, which is the first time I’ve ever dropped her off for boarding without her having any sort of separation anxiety. I could not recommend this place more

I was nervous for a longer overnight stay for our Yorkie, it was his first time. The staff was incredible and on top of it. We booked the regular kennel crates but our pup had never been in a crate before and after the first night they noticed our pup was in distress and we were out of country and they went into action and moved him to a private room automatically to settle him for the rest of his stay. We were so appreciative they took special care and attention to him while we were gone. Then the next time we came back from an overnight stay Teddy SPRINTED to the door and was SO excited to be back 🥹😍. We knew he felt comfortable there and we will keep coming back.

We have been using paws and play since it’s inception for our Airedale Brody. The owner Matt along with his staff has always been very responsible and is always caring for each dog that arrives. The staff is polite, courteous and always is happy to see Brody giving him a huge Welcome every time he arrives. Brody responds immediately when Paws and Play is mentioned and can’t wait to jump in the car and start his day!! He loves the experience and we couldn’t be happier with the care he gets. The best ever and couldn’t ask for more !!!

This was our first time boarding our dog with Paws & Play and we couldnt have been happier! The immediate warmth upon greeting by several staff helped our anxious pup and the check in process was smooth and easy. We loved how we could scroll daily photos of the dogs and see how our guy was doing! Our dog can be slow to warm up but he did really well and we heard stories at check out of him playing with some new friends! I would definitely recommend this Resort to anyone with a dog they want to know will be in great hands! The add on features are great and the space was super clean. Also he came home smelling so good! Thanks Paws & Play! Will be back for sure.

I left my dog for two days in boarding while I was out of state. When I picked up my dog he had a bloody lip and a cut. I called to ask what happened and staff was adamant that 'nothing happened' and he was never in any altercation with other dogs at the facility. When I brought my dog to the vet, they stated that he was definitely cut by something. Upon finding out this information, the staff at paws and play stated that my dog must have 'done it to himself' when he was groomed. Now, I'd like to state that i have a very rough dog who doesn't know his own size and strength. I don't doubt that he probably cut himself on a crate or while he was being groomed. My issue is that this was never brought to my attention. They claimed they 'didn't notice' the cut upon his departure. I believe they don't check the dogs before they leave, which is a huge issue because they don't stay with the dogs overnight. How can they be sure the dog is 100% okay? I have no ill will towards the staff or establishment, I just believe this was unprofessional. But, I'm glad my dog is okay and that all it was was a small cut. This could have been avoided had someone just let me know about the cut. I hope they begin to keep owners informed and not just in the dark about their dogs.

We bring our dog here 1x/week to get him out of the house and with other dogs. He has loved it from the very first day and gets so excited any time my husband drops him off (and doesn’t like leaving when I get him haha). The staff is always so kind and you can tell they each truly love the dogs that go there. They know so many by the owners that pick them up and always say great things about our dog. They are a gem! We are sending our dog for boarding in April and had tons of questions and Tiffany answered each one and took her time to make sure I was comfortable knowing everything about how that side of their business works!

I can not overstate how fantastic Paws and Play is! Our buddy Charlie goes there for daycare once a week and for boarding a few times a year. We hate when we have to travel without him, but we never worry about him because we know he is loved and cared for by the crew at Paws and Play. The staff is wonderful - sweet, caring and super capable. The operation is organized and professional. The staff clearly has the expertise and experience to safely handle the dogs they care for and the facility is the best in the area by far, immaculately clean with beautiful boarding rooms and fun play areas. I respect and appreciate that Paws and Play has strictly enforced rules (vaccinations, reservations, etc.) for the safety of all the dogs. Thanks to everyone at Paws and Play for giving Charlie such a great place to hang out!

The entire team, from the staff to the owner, consistently delivers exceptional service. We can't sing their praises enough!

Love the Perfect Pooch. I found them through Google and Yelp reviews and the reviews are so accurate. I was so worried as a new dog owner and they treat my dog with such care. They started watching him before he was fully vaccinated so more pet sitting and they were fantastic. I got tons of updates and pics and they truly care for the pets. They’re great about notes and requests and did a great job feeding him and keeping him entertained. I most recently tried their overnight service which was fantastic and didn’t disrupt my puppy’s routine. I always feel like my dog is cared for by folks (especially Joy!) who love dogs and take extra care to treat my puppy with kindness -highly recommended.

Leeland takes such good care of our 2 big pups! Her walkers are caring and detailed. My dogs love them and look forward walks with licks and kisses. We receive photos from each outing!

Maggie is pure joy. She's also a 55lb diva who needs a long walk every day to keep her being a pure joy as my workday co-pilot. I had a scary experience with a solo dog walker, and then I found Leeland, who heads the Perfect Pooch. Lili, Gable, Raeven and sometimes Leland herself walk Maggie both alone, and sometimes with great buddies. I've seen them outside from a distance, and know how Maggie is super excited when it's time for their arrival. Maya stayed with Maggie while we were away, too. I feel confident and very comfortable knowing Maggie gets her walk (no matter the weather). The portal is very easy to use for communication, and payment, too.

I have been using perfect pooch for cat sitting for several months now. They have watched our cats during several trips. It is easy to schedule via their app, they are reliable, take good care of our cats, and always send follow up notes and pictures. As an added bonus - they also leave our apartment tidy - vacuuming up litter and taking out the cat food tins.

We moved to the UWS fulltime in 2022 and are so grateful to have found Leeland and her team at The Perfect Pooch. They are caring, professional, trustworthy, and knowledgeable. It gives us such peace of mind to know our pup is in their hands for walks, boarding, and dog sitting.

New to the city and have been using the perfect pooch for over a month and weve been so happy. They use an app to message, schedule, and share all the happenings including real time mapped walks, timestamped visits, photos and a sweet message from the walker. Leeland the business owner is wonderful and communicative and came to meet our dog and then set up a meet up with our incredible primary walker Rheanna! Rheanna has been so great with our dog Finley, so respectful of our space and just an all around great person. Thank you for all you do for Finley!

As a very satisfied customer of the Perfect Pooch for a few years now, I have relied upon them for overnight pet sitting, walks, and at-home puppy sitting for three of my large breed dogs. I am so incredibly grateful to have them in my life. Leeland is a joy to work with, and the walkers are highly skilled, well trained, loving, and perennially punctual. However, an even higher recommendation comes from my dogs—they are so happy to see the walkers when they arrive that they completely forget I exist.

My experience with The Perfect Pooch has been overly positive. The business owner is very responsive, and helps to do all booking, scheduling, payment, and messaging through a commonly used app. All employees have been trustworthy in my home, including the business owner who shares in the workload during busy weekends. Employees are largely detail oriented as well as cat-friendly and very patient even in the face of very shy cats who can lock themselves in a room.

I've been using The Perfect Pooch NYC for about a year now, and they take the BEST care of my little chihuahua! He was a COVID puppy, so I hadn't had to leave him with a walker/sitter before, but Leeland and her team are so professional, caring, and warm that I felt comfortable instantly. My dog be a little feisty (to put it nicely) but he adores his walker Ashley, and she keeps him happy and in check on their daily Central Park walks. I've also used them for overnight boarding, and was so impressed with the quality of care and updates. Can't recommend Leeland, Ashley, and the Perfect Pooch team enough!

I feel very comfortable leaving my dog at Dogtopia while I work. She is happy when I pick her up and looks happy when I observe her on camera. I love that she gets lots of exercise.

This was my first time at Dogtopia. I wanted my dog Nelson to go to daycare so he can socialize more, especially since we work long hours and we hate having him be alone all day. During his trial the staff was so nice and welcoming. They made sure to give me a tour around every room in the facility and explained everything and the daily doggy schedule. After his trial they even let him stay the day. I was put even more at ease because they have cameras where I can watch to make sure my dog wasn't being crazy lol. I highly recommend this facility and I'm so glad we found a place for my dog to get some energy out!

I have been bringing my dog here since he was 6 months old. He was grown and developed into a social butterfly. This place loves my dog as if he is one of their own. I highly recommend especially if you have a puppy that is giving you a lot of issues. Dogs learn from one another. The first day I picked up my dog, he was a completely different dog & for the better! I use them for boarding, spa services & daycare.

Would leave 0 stars if possible. When watching cameras, we discovered workers mistreating our dog, shoving her in a crate and darkening it because she was barking. All dogs bark, and our dog was in no way misbehaving, as we watched the whole ordeal. Additionally, this wasn’t even boarding- IT WAS A TRIAL. NEVER send your dog here. I wouldn’t even want my worst enemy to send their dog here. Additionally, all managers my family and I tried to talk to were completely unwilling to take accountability for what they had done. Total lack of responsibility and extremely poor customer service in addition to mistreating our dog. I will leave negative reviews all over the internet, because no one’s pet deserves the treatment ours received at this location. Edit: my reservation was not under my name, but someone else’s, as our dog is a family dog.

Great experience! We were a walk-in for grooming and they were able to accomodate us. They did a great job and they did not take forever to do it! Bella looks gorgeous! (the photo is from today, the grooming was a few days ago so she now needs brushing but she looks great!)

The receptionist was very nice and answer all of our, many many, questions. The staff that took care of our puppies was able to win Penny over, she was suspicious at the beginning, and did not want to go in. This was her first experience. On the other side Loki was even too excited, but they were able to handle him just fine. It was fun to check what they were doing with the cameras and having a parking lot so spacious made it easy to let the dogs in and out of the car.

Our puppy has been going to Dogtopia since he was 4 months and LOVES playing with the other dogs. Clean, attentive and accessible!

I was looking for a way to socialize my dog and help him with his anxiety around other dogs and people. The Meet and Greet was really great - they walked him around the room and helped him get comfortable with the other pups. He came home happy and loved it. Unfortunately the regular daycare service didn't hold up. Our very next visit I put him in daycare for a full day. I didn't see him on any of the webcams and by lunchtime I was worried so I called to ask if he was okay, and they just said he's feeling timid and staying underneath the table. I was very worried because I didn't see the handlers make any attempts to make him feel comfortable or socialize with the other dogs like they had on my first day. When I picked him up, he STUNK, like he smelled like a person who hadn't washed their clothes or showered in weeks, and he was absolutely filthy. His hair was sticky and dry, as if he was laying in urine all day and his paws were black with dirt. He was very sad, not at all like he was the first day. We gave him a bath right away and the water was grey from the filth on him from that one day. I couldn't believe they would send him home like that. My dog is shy, but he doesn't deserve to be neglected all day. They didn't do anything to take care of him or socialize him like they claimed. I won't be bringing my dog back here.

This place deserves zero stars. They charged my card an unapproved amount of $1,500! This place is a scam charging for doggycare and boarding. Ever dog owners knows when you pay for boarding dog care is apart of the boarding. Dogtopia categorizes them separately. I exclusively wanted boarding but was being told when I picked up my dogs that I had to pay for both doggycare and boarding. Their price is misleading and not in alignment with the industry. And to make matters worse my dogs weren’t even taking outside during their eight day stay! I know this because I was watching the camera every chance I could. Nor were they given a bath they smelled horrible when I picked them up. They took forever to find their sweaters that I dropped them off with and lost the paperwork I filled out request a spa service before pick up. Don’t bring your pet here! You are better off using Rover or a neighbor.

I recently had an extremely alarming experience with my pug puppy at dogtopia. He came home after a day of daycare and began violently vomiting. Eventually throwing up pieces of blanket. I rushed him to the vet where he continued to throw up. He had ingested shredded blanket pieces. When I called dogtopia I spoke to the manager Sara. Her response was “well he needs to be able to be in the room and not eat blanket”. She never apologized or asked how my puppy was. Thank goodness my puppy was ok, 1000 dollars later. But he could have died had this caused a blockage. Dogs eat things, this is why many of us don’t leave our pups unattended. I am very concerned that something worse could happen to another dog while in their care.

After a not so great experience with another daycare service; I took my Maltipoo Malcolm to Pumpkin Paws Pet Service. I wanted to socialize my 6 month old puppy in a safe environment. Well, we got that and more. Once they saw Malcolm was relatively reserved, they busted out a ball toy. Malcolm LOVES balls. That’s all he needed to get him going. Malcolm had such a good time here. The other dogs were friendly as well, so I never felt my little guy would be physically harmed. They post pictures and videos. They are communicative. I am Sadden that we moved away and are unable to visit Pumkin Paws again. I have not been able to find another safe and welcoming daycare for my little guy since. Thank you Pumpkin Paws!!

The absolute best- they've been without exception professional and capable for the year we've been using their services, and they were able to quickly adapt and confidently administer medication to a tricky cat following a last minute vet visit right before a vacation. I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and affordable cat care.

My wife and I have had a wonderful experience with Pumkin Paws! They have taken wonderful care of our Goldendoodle. They have been really flexible. Our needs change weekly and they have adjusted their walks as necessary. The staff is friendly and courteous and we have never thought twice about allowing them in our home.

My daughter is new to this place but she seems happy with them. Today was a good day for my daughters dog leia seems to be coming along. Chad sent my son in law a video of leia getting along with the other dogs. I think that was great.

Awesome service, my pooch gets to get in some socialization, little exercise and you won't feel as bad at work thinking bout her. If you love your pooch, highly recommend, very reasonably priced and the staff is very knowledgeable, caring and attentive.

My dog got away from this facility I had to file a police report and pay a hefty fee to get my dog back weeks later it was an absolute nightmare I do not recommend this place!

We used J&J PetCare during the summer of 2023 to take care of our two dogs (a yorkie and a chihuahua) over the course of 10 days when we were away, and we couldn't be more impressed with the service! They made apartment visits twice a day for our paper-trained pups, ensuring they were fed, had plenty of fresh water, and were treated to delicious treats. What really stood out was their attention to detail and the love they showed our dogs. They sent us regular videos and pictures, which made us feel so connected to our pups while we were away. It was clear they spent a lot of time playing and engaging with them during each visit, keeping them happy and entertained. Additionally, they always cleaned up the wee wee pads and replaced them with fresh ones, which we really appreciated. We would highly recommend J&J Petcare in a heartbeat. Their level of care, communication, and professionalism gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. We will definitely be using their services again!

I can’t say enough about J&J Pet Care. They are incredibly reliable, professional and trustworthy. We frequently take unplanned weekend get aways, and J&J is able to take our puppy without advance notice. We know that she is in great hands from a team that really loves dogs and has their best interests in-mind. George always goes the extra mile and has even offered to pick-up needed items for our puppy when he is at the pet store. You don’t need to look anywhere else, J&J Pet Care is as good as it gets!

My dog loves going to J & J petcare. They take great care of of her. From the time I pull up in front of the building she begins wagging her tail in excitement. I highly recommend them and am so grateful they took such great care of my dog.

My dog really looks forward to seeing Jorge every morning! I get update pictures from every walk and my little guy comes back very exhausted from the amount of exercise he gets which is great! He’s also learned to use the bathroom outside which is a great success. Now a days it’s very hard to know who to trust with your fur babies. Overall we are happy with the service. J&J walks our dog Coco daily and on most days we get a photo of Coco showing her having a wonderful time on her walk. They are reliable and flexible and have really helped us out in emergencies. It is apparent that they LOVE animals - so gentle and loving with our pets. We highly recommend them. They sent us this photo of Coco on her walk one day (see attached).

Pedro is an excellent dog walker. I have recommended him many times to neighbors and friends without hesitation. He is very attentive, reliable, and caring. I have a senior dog that Pedro has been taking care of (because a great dog walker does more than just walk your dog) for the last four years. He is incredibly patient and loving as she begins to slow down in her golden years. I’m grateful everday I leave the apartment knowing Pedro will be there to exercise and spend time with my beloved dog.

My pup can be a bit of a handful so I was a bit nervous about finding a walker for her, but I knew from the moment I met Pedro that she would be in good hands! Pedro is *obviously* a dog-lover and has a lot of patience. He is also extremely communicative and reliable; he has NEVER not shown up for a walk and has never canceled on us. It is SUCH a relief not having to worry about my dog while I'm at work! I also always receive text updates about the walk, which is great. All I know is that my dog absolutely adores Pedro. BOTTOM LINE: You can't go wrong with Hot Paws Pet Care. P.S. While Pedro is our every day walker, I have met two other walkers with Hot Paws Pet Care and both were great, too! It was important to me that my dog could expect the same walker every single day, which Pedro accommodated, but for two days during which Pedro was out of town we had sub walkers. Pedro was gracious enough to give plenty of notice about his trip AND set up a time for me and my dog to meet the sub walkers beforehand to make sure everything would be good. We had Pedro dog-sit our 2 dogs at our wedding recently at Wave Hill in the Bronx. He was TREMENDOUS! I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dog sitter. He was amazing to work with and such a great guy. He took phenomenal care of our dogs (1 big dog and 1 little dog). The dogs were honestly upset to be leaving his care at the end of the night. Pedro was a class act. He dressed incredibly well and was such a pleasure to work with. We were so happy we found him!

Pedro has been taking care of our Jack Russell since 2013 and she absolutely loves him. Pedro and Vincent have been walking my large, lazy dog for nearly 2 years. He is professional, flexible and easy to work with. He is always cheerful and pleasant and really cares about our dog. Our dog can be quite resistant to getting off the couch to walk during the day - especially in the summer or if it's raining - and Hot Paws can always get him happily out the door. They are awesome and a real asset to the neighborhood!

I hired Pedro to take care of my GSD while I was working out of state. Pedro did an excellent job taking care of my pride and joy. He promptly gave me updates every time he completed a walk and kept me up to date on his mood. I even got to FaceTime with my dog which I think help put both our minds at ease. I am so happy my friend referred me to well rounded hound! The people are so wonderful with the dogs especially with my Bella. I never had any issues with anyone or with the other dogs. In the beginning, I even tracked Bella to see if she was ok. And of course she was having the best time ever. I communicate a lot with Jackie and she is absolutely the best. They way she greets the dogs and says goodbye to them is so cute. I couldn’t be happier and neither can Bella. I highly recommend them.

Recently started boarding our dog here - one short stay and one long stay - and had a great experience. They seem to legitimately like the animals (i.e. not just a business). And the dogs seem to get a good bit of outdoor and social time, which is exactly what I wanted for our enthusiastic pooch. To me, the dog being wiped out and tired after staying with them, is definitely a feature, not a bug. Highly recommend it.

This place went above and beyond for our dog, Darwin. We were days from our summer vacation and had planned on having Darwin stay at Ludworth for 2 weeks. Right before, he caught a terrible ear infection and hurt his paw. Tom and his wonderful staff at Ludworth took such amazing care of Darwin, taking him back and forth to the vet several times, changing his bandages, and just giving him the care he needed while we were away. Couldnt recommend a place more highly for the care they provide. It's definitely no frills for humans, but a great place to safely leave your pet with the peace of mind they will have a very happy stay. Once again, thanks so much Tom for you're taking such great care of our pooch!

Max my 110 lbs Rottweiler loves going to Ludworth. I haven't had any issues and he seems well taken care of. They are also very accommodating, which is a plus when you need boarding.

We came here in search of a place to board our two cats and the set up was just sad. They had a caged indoor space attached to a caged outdoor space by which the cats could move from one space to another through a hole. The place didn't get a lot of natural light and each caged spot was pretty small. No where for the cats to climb or to get any exercise. No toys, scratch posts, nothing. Barely the bare minimum. Clearly this is a place that is more geared for boarding dogs and they decided to use the dank, dark barn for cats. It's cheap, sure, but if you truly love your cats you wouldn't leave them here. The guy who showed us around was nice, the place was not. It's no wonder they don't have any pictures posted of the cat boarding area on their website.

Cannot recommend this place enough! My dogs absolutely love it here. The owner and the whole staff are so lovely and look forward to seeing my two doggies. I can tell they are given lots of attention here and come back nice and tired.

My dog stayed for 2 nights. The staff were very friendly and accommodating of our schedule. They washed our dog too, and the cost was very good. But when our dog got home, he went straight to his water and food, and then slept for hours. We were able to peek in the barn where the dogs sleep, and it looked old and unsanitary. We gave them a bag with blankets and a stuffed animal so that our dog can feel a little more comfortable at the kennel, but they didn’t put it in his kennel during the stay. It was our dog’s 3rd time to stay at a kennel, so we don’t have much experience. But what we can say is that he’s been on two 14h flights before, and he didn’t act as fatigued as he did when he got back from this kennel. He’s usually very playful and energetic, so it was shocking to see how weak he looked. We saw many positive reviews, so we’re sure this kennel fits some dogs very well, but not for every dog. but we appreciate that the kennel kept our dog safe during our vacation.

We have been using Ludworth Kennels for almost 40 years and 6 different dogs. In all that time we have had nothing but positive experiences. The dogs are always happy to go and happy when we pick them up. They are well fed and well cared for. Tom, the owner and proprietor, sets up play groups for the dogs and they are always healthy and happy when we pick them up.

Thanks to Jose Antonio for grooming my hairy princess. I got exactly what wanted. Also thank you for letting me know that she had an ear infection. I had no idea. I’m very grateful. See u soon!

We were new to the area in the spring, and this was the only place with availability- which made me concerned- but Artie needed a haircut and despite him being a goldendoodle, I do not let his hair get long. I scoped the place out and it was clean and the people were friendly. The first haircut was a good haircut but way longer than we like and what we had asked for. I told them so they knew for next time, which they noted, and paid in full and went home. I ended up bringing him back two weeks later because it was just way too long. The second time around was much better, and he came out looking perfect-minus the fact that his nails were long and scratchy. I paid in full, which I was secretly a little salty about paying another $200 just two weeks later, but I’m not as confrontational as I should be. About 6 weeks later we brought him back, and I was looking forward to him getting the same haircut as last time, but I asked them to go one level shorter than before just because it was summer and we were in a heat wave. We waited all day (much longer than the first two times) so I called to get an update because we were going out of town that evening. I would never want to rush the groomer, though. I just needed an idea of timing because I hadn’t anticipated it taking this long. They told me half hour, so I arrived half an hour later and they were still working on him. I hung around and waited (which I didn’t mind) and eventually they brought him to me. I was shocked as I had never seen such a poorly groomed dog… he has chunks of hair sticking around his face, his elbows, and his genitals, armpits, and paws had not been groomed! How could they have let him out this way? They should have known that was unacceptable. He looked like a homeless dog (though I would never tell him that and gave him lots of love and praise :). Anyways- I have trimmed the areas they missed myself, and have scheduled him for elsewhere since. It only takes one time, and I will not risk bringing my baby back there. Pictures included, but doesn’t quite capture how bad the haircut was. Also included a current picture since fixing his face haircut. Edit- I took him to a new groomer today and they said he was sooo nervous, and they were afraid the last groomer “didn’t treat him well”. Broke my heart so much that I ever brought my baby here. ALSO, the other groomers in the area charge far less… My Pets Paradise was over $200, while this last groomer (which is the most reputable in the area and hard to get an appt), was $120.

i randomly came across this place a couple years ago looking for a groomer for my doggy , i have taken him quit a few places before and i didn't like how he came out but this place hooks him upppp he looks like a completely different doggy when he comes home he looks so good and he smells amazing and for a whileee !

Nice clean place and friendly staff. I love how they have play pens for the dogs to stretch instead of being in a crate. My dogs fur was so soft and she came out smelling so good, almost smelled better than me!! Thank you Jose Antonio!

Took my dog in at 9:30 am and picked him up by 11:30… he came back and his nails were still long and thy did a HORRIBLE JOB bathing him! They told me he wet himself as he was being groomed so they bathed him again. It’s clear that they didn’t even bother to bathe him again because he smells horribly. It is very evident that they wiped him down and just put some cologne on him. This wasn’t worth the 60 dollars that I paid. Every time I take him here the job done progressively gets worse and worse. I will never EVER bring him here again.

This place is amazing i have a yorkie with anxiety and i always paid so much money at the vet to get her groomed i found Liliana and she is amazing and saved me!!!! She was able to cut joseys nails and give her the perfect cut I've been wanting! I highly recommend anyone who has a dog like mine to book an appointment today with them!

I’ve been bringing my dog Sundae to Your Pet’s Paradise for 4 years and I’ve never had a complain , they’re very professional, the work they do on my dog’s hair is amazing that people always asked me where do I take my dog for grooming? They used the best quality products, my pet keeps smelling so good after weeks. I also left Sundae for days when I had to travel and they took a good care of her I felt safe leaving my dog in this great place. The price is very reasonable and the staff is always kind , respectful, friendly and professional. I’m moving out of town soon but I’ll keep bringing my dog here even if it’s far away because it’s hard to find great places like this one.
