Judith
Judy and Linda were very welcoming, they have a lovely clean, tidy and comfortable home with a beautiful garden.
Everything was very clearly explained both in the welcome guide and while showing me around their property.
Tom and Kodi are very affectionate cats and very undemanding, appearing quickly both in the morning and evening for meals and happy to hang around afterwards for some company and attention. They can come and go through the kitchen cat flap during the day and night so were very independent and also meant I could be out all day without worrying about them.
The village is very pretty and has many enjoyable walks leading from it, having my own transport also gave me the opportunity to visit some of the nearby market towns and walk further afield as well.
The Mud Pie cafe is worth a visit on Saturday morning for great coffee and cake and chats with some very friendly villagers.
This was a very relaxing enjoyable housesit in a beautiful part of Dorset.

Jill
Jill lives in a beautiful little house right on the Sound. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, but also close to local shops and restaurants, and not too far from downtown Seattle.

Jill's dog, Finnegan, is a sweetheart and so hilarious. He's great company on beach walks and has good recall with treats. He also loves the dog park, which we visited a few times. Jill and I met up later when I was on a different house sit and hiked together; Finn did really well - he's a very respectful trail partner.

Pinto Bean and Pacha, the cats, were around for meals and naps, but pretty much kept to themselves otherwise. They're both very sweet and Pacha is really affectionate when she's around.

I loved sitting here and would happily do it again.

Didier & Rozemie and their lovely children, made us feel most welcome in their charming castle/chateau. It was a privilege to be house sitting in such a beautiful home, full of period architectural features.
Though the hand over was quite short, we were given more than adequate information regarding the “Boys” and we felt very comfortable carrying out the sit.
We had the pleasure of looking after Louie and Jones, who were a delight to handle and live with. They are really good characters, with a lovely calm disposition and once used to you (which took them about 15 minutes) are friendly ever, wanting hugs and strokes.
When taken out for walks, they both gallop off, often out of sight - this is of no concern - as in due course will reappear after tracking down various animal scents.
All walks are taken on the grounds (which as stated, are extensive with views across the valley) and off the lead. In general Louie and Jones will come back when they want to, always keeping an “eye” on you.

Here at “Grand Marchin”, Didier & Rozemie have created a lovely environment and home. As our dates covered the New Year, we were delighted to have a wonderful Christmas tree, very much in proportion to the stately room.
We found our bed - on the top floor - the most comfortable we have slept in during any sitting.
The environment with its towns, rolling landscape and quiet villages, is a beautiful part of Belgium to visit.
We hope to carry out future sits here and would highly recommend this house sit to others.

Michelle and Brent were a gracious couple and the dogs were easy to care for. Their remodeled home is in a great location for visiting Charlotte and very safe neighborhood. Enjoyed my stay.

We met Madeleine and Tim at the beginning of our sit (they invited us to a delicious lunch) and they made us feel very welcome
and made sure we didn't have any problems at all. Really everything was perfectly prepared for us.
They showed us around their wonderful property and the area and we got to know the routine of sweet little Emma.

Caring for her was easy. We loved her from first sight. She has a great personality and is very charming. She liked especially in the morning playing with her toys and also with boxes and our rolled joga mat. In the evening Emma stayed with us and when she came to play hide and seek under our woolen blanket she was not the only one having fun. We took lots of fotos of her it would last for many calendars. She is so sweet, hilarious and photogenic.

The contact and the conversation before and during our stay was excellent.

The house is wonderful decorated with very good taste. It is surrounded by mountains a real postcard idyll, spotless clean with hikingtrails starting from the doorstep. Not to forget the kitchen is very well stocked and perfect for cooking. All the amenities you like to have when you are housesitting.

Thanks to Madeleine and Tim for letting us live with their lovely little Emma in their beautiful home. We had a home away from home. We can highly recommend this sit and we will miss little Emma and the sound of her tiny little bell.

Julia
The Housesit for Julia was on of the most interesting and responsible sit I had done. The 150 acres farm was dedicated to hops, and had been in the family for a long time. I also was responsible for the fishermen who came from all around to the beautiful lake at the foot of the extensive lawn.

The dogs were fun to walk with through the farm. There was also a vegetable garden to care for !

Thank you so much, Julia, for letting me into the nuances of your life !
