Josh & Kirsty were the perfect hosts when we arrived. Kirsty made a homemeal meal which was delicious and took us around a couple of walks so we were familiar. Woody a whippet/bedlingtonterrier was a joy a very placid dog. He loved nothing more than playing with toys especially his tennis ball. He loved snuggling up on the sofa and if he disappeared invariably he'd be on the bed. He was good on the lead and as the sit went on he was much more at ease on the extendable lead. He is a bundle of energy and will walk for as long or as little delending on your personal needs. Whilst he loved his walks he loved chasing his tennis ball around the very large garden. Willow a mature lady is such a joy, she us like your shadow and just adores been around people. Again for a small dog she keeps up on walks with Woody and she is very happy off the lead. Again she loves chasing the ball around the garden. Neither dogs are barky.. Josh & Kirsty's home is more than adequate with oodles of space, and very comfortable with log fires should you need them. All mod cons re streaming channels are available for your entertainment. In addition there us an office should you require thus need whilst sitting. This is not taking into account the large garden, swimming pool and amazing walks without having to get into your car. An amazing sit and Steve and I wouldnt hesitate in recommending Josh & Kirsty as hosts and we will be definitely returning in the future. A joy....
I enjoyed my sit with Jelly, Pumpkin, and Ninja. The kittens are cute and fun as heck. Ninja is a sweet older cat who sometimes enjoyed attention from me, especially in the morning. Laura is a very nice and considerate person and was super easy to communicate with. Their home is comfy and it was fun watching their view of ferry boats docking. Thankfully hills and stairs don't bother me so their three story home and the hills surrounding their property were an actual plus. I loved walking into Edmonds and I got more exercise than normal, so despite eating out numerous times I didn't gain weight. :)
We really enjoyed our sit for two gorgeous Dachshunds Ruth and Rupert. Lucy and Neil are great home owners, very welcoming and accommodating with a beautiful property in Herefordshire The dogs were great company who loved a lot of fuss, cuddles and tummy tickles and followed us everywhere we went around the house and garden. The house is well placed just a short walk to the Bus Stop for Hereford, Leominster etc Lucy and Neil explained everything before they left and their detailed guide made the experience go very smoothly. It's a lovely house, with two adorable pets and friendly hosts. A sit we would happily repeat, thank you so much for choosing us!
We knew that this was the perfect house sit for us as soon as we read the listing! Responsibilities “ Ensure that Austin doesn’t miss us too much and enjoy our home” Both of these were so easy to do. Both Lliam and Cindy were the perfect hosts and went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything that we needed. Austin Bow Wow Wowers , if he was a human he would be our best friend. He is the best dog, he loves his walks at Point Isabel which is his favorite walk on the planet Austin was so easy to love, he is so gentle and very smart and soon settled with us. He is very loyal and knew instantly that we belonged to him, Austin has great recall and is very friendly to other dogs and humans alike. Austins designer home is divine, great kitchen to cook in and everything you need to be so comfortable during your sit. The neighborhood of Oakland is great, we met many locals who would wave and chat on our walks, San Francisco is literally minutes away on the Bart system making this sit a perfect location. This was our 20th housesit and was our absolute favorite Austin will always hold a special place in our hearts, he is the ultimate friend. We would jump at the chance to come and look after Austin again
Bullet is a sweetheart and I enjoyed caring for him. Carole is another story. Extremely critical, judgmental, ungrateful, and makes false assumptions and false allegations without checking the facts. A very unpleasant experience other than Bullet.
We had a great time looking after Julia and Michael's house and pets whilst they were away. Olive is the absolute star of the show.....I dare you to walk past her without giving her cuddles! Mila is gorgeous and loves belly rubs and her walks where she will obsessively "hunt" lizards (unsuccessfully!). Lily is a gentle giant and once she had got past her wariness of us, welcomed us each morning with tail wags and wanted to come along for walks. We didn't see too much of Cinder, though by the end of the week he was comfortable enough to chat with us and sun himself in the lounge. All the pets are very flexible and easy to look after. Julia and Michael made us feel very welcome and we really enjoyed spending time with them before and after their trip. Their house is lovely with beautiful views from the veranda. Thanks guys and give the doggos a love from us, we miss them!
