Tawnya
Tawnya, Geoff and Murphy are an amazing family and we feel so lucky that our first time doing TrustedHousesitters was with them! Tawnya is a terrific communicator, we spoke prior to coming out which was very helpful and learned a bit more about Murphy's care. Murphy is the sweetest puppy - you forget that he is a puppy because he is so big and smart. (Think Clifford the Big Red dog. :) Their house is beautiful and everything is within walking distance. Tawnya did an impeccable job with both pet and property details. She created a great book on Murphy and their home which included Murphys commands, playdates and emergency numbers, etc. . We were greeted with a welcoming basket that Tawyna made and Geoffs homemade zucchini bread! Not sure if I should post that but it was too special not to mention. Another bonus are their friends who live nearby who have a lab. We spent several days with the two dogs walking to the beach, chasing frisbees and playing in the park. There's nothing that we would have changed, everything went smoothly. The bonus part is that we got to know Tawnya and Geoff for a bit at the beginning and end of the sit, they're warm, sensible, friendly people who we now consider friends. We already miss the family and hope to dog or house sit for them again.

Julia & Elena
It was a pleasure to care for Fluffi & Balu. Both are really cute and relaxed cats. They adore each other, so you will find them cuddling together or playing together most of the time (they love to be out on the fenced balcony). Fluffi & Balu enjoy to get brushed and playing with their cat teaser.
Julia and Elena live in a nice apartment in Garmisch-Partenkirchen with direct view on the slopes. The communication with Julia was super smooth and her and Elena are warm hearted beings. Walking trails, ski trails, shops are easy to reach. No car needed. Thanks for letting me use your bike too :)

Warm wishes,
Hanna

Suzanne
Sitting for Angel was a delight. She loved being brushed. And being fed!
Suzanne was a wonderful host. Instructions were clear. She was very responsive when I texted.
I would definitely sit for them again.

Helen
Helen & Peter were most welcoming and hospitable to their comfortable period-building flat in Leigh Woods, Bristol and we were able to communicate very easily both before and during the sit. A detailed Welcome Guide was much appreciated, as was the kind Xmas hamper left for me, and I enjoyed being able to walk across the nearby iconic Bristol Suspension Bridge into Clifton every day if I wished! However, leaving the flat was sometimes a difficult decision as it meant leaving the magnificent cool-cat that is Pena!
He is a delightful companion when "at home", quiet, dignified, friendly and very much Mr Independent, coming and going through his cat flap as he wished.
The flat has all the mod cons you could wish for, and an interesting roofscape view over the area to the hills beyond. I can certainly recommend this sit with complete confidence and look forward to chatting with Mr. P again one day!
