I unfortunately didn’t have a great experience with Simran. Globally Bugs was well taken care of but I didn’t get the feeling that my home was respected and communication was less than optimal. I came home to stained bedsheets and towels that will need to be replaced and lots of dirty linen despite almost an entire bottle of detergent being used during a two week stay. Because of all the washing and excessive use of heating I also had an electric bill that was through the roof (2-3 times more usage per day than normal for the duration of her stay). It felt like I had come home after renting my place on airbnb rather than leaving it in the hands of a trusted sitter who I would expect to treat it like it was their own. I hope this was a fluke because Simran has always had great reviews and was very warm and lovely both over the phone and in person. It’s unfortunate that I had a less than ideal experience but felt it was important to share my honest feedback here after speaking with her first about the issues I had during her stay.

Rachel looked after Kea so well - seemed like they really made friends!! Rachel sent us piccies every day and communicated promptly and clearly with us. She left the house tidy and we were very happy and would definitely have her to stay again :-)

Chihiro applied as a friendly animals lover and she really is. She has taken caren of my cat family with her hearth, looking at what they need, ready to learn, open to their needs. She has brought some beautiful lightness and good mood in my home. Thank you!

Ellie was an absolutely fantastic house sitter. She looked after our dogs and cats perfectly, kept us updated regularly and they all had a stress free (and in the case of the dogs, fun-) time. She was wonderful company on the first night, we felt totally reassured that our pets were in good hands and our house was immaculate when we returned with a very thoughtful dinner cooked for us and fresh bread. Anna & David

Anna and David took on the challenge to look after our 4 huskies, while Nula was in season. They did amazingly well, it was obvious when we arrived back home that our dogs had a holiday of their own. We can highly recommend them, and would invite them back in a heartbeat.

Orion and Ashleigh are reliable care takers. The dogs love them and were kept happy and healthy. However, the house was not very clean upon my return and it seems that dogs were also allowed upstairs while I was away.

We had a great experience with Ewelin and Daniel who cared for our beloved, little Archie for over a month. Leaving them in charge at our London flat was a breeze, as they proved to be self-sufficient and considerate during our absence. Ewelin and Daniel went above and beyond in taking care of Archie. They maintained a daily communication routine, creating a group where they shared pictures of Archie, keeping us updated on his well-being. Ensuring he had four daily walks and was well-fed, they also devoted extra time to him, especially during the firework season, considering his anxiety. Upon our return, we found the flat in order, reflecting their responsible approach to housesitting. We highly recommend Ewelin and Daniel to anyone seeking trustworthy and caring individuals to look after their pets. Our experience with them on zeewoi was great!

Jessie and Elliot were outstanding house-sitters. They looked after Bafta as if he was their own adored pet and kept us up to date with a shared photo album. They took him on adventures, he tried new things and learned new tricks. They kept our flat in perfect condition and I was spotless when we came back. Blaze & Matthew

Blaze and Matthew looked after Cora for a week and did a wonderful job. Blaze kindly caught the train down first thing in the morning (her partner followed that evening) so that I could introduce her to Cora before we departed. Cora loved her instantly. Blaze responded quickly to my messages and was always reassuring me that Cora was happy. The house was clean and tidy when I returned. I would definitely have Blaze back to look after Cora. Emma was the ideal house sitter! She was a great communicator, kept us updated on our pets and took great care of our home. Leaving our pets with Emma felt like leaving our pets with a friend. She showed such care and really formed relationships with them. They miss her! On top of that, the house was immaculate when we returned which was the nicest treat! We were so grateful and lucky to have Emma stay. We would welcome her again in a heartbeat!

I can't say enough good things about Julia and her two babies, Benson and Jetty! My only wish is that this was a longer sit so I could have more time with them! Benson is so gentle and sweet and then Jetty is sassy and playful - so you really get the best of both worlds!

Julia was easy going and happy to answer my questions. Her home is beautifully decorated and in a quiet neighborhood, but is close to downtown and the beach!

A wonderful place to stay and the animals a delight to look after. We felt so very lucky to stay in such a beautiful house and garden.
Walking the dogs each day in the fields, feeding the sheep and donkeys and wandering in the extensive garden were highlights.

Lottie is a wonderfully affectionate little dog, who loves the company and being near you. She is great when out on her walks with recall being spot on! Her morning routine of snuggles and coffee was simply put, the highlight of my day, absolutely adorable!  

Janet and I had consistent communication to the run up of the sit and during, she was kind to pick and drop me off at the station, whilst accommodating an early arrival (due to train strikes) which allowed for a thorough handover. I was provided a room with en-suite and fresh linen. Janet has a beautiful home with walks aplenty and it felt a retreat for the time I was there, stunning surroundings!

Henry

We had an amazing time at Henry and Dani's home. The house is beautiful and so are the views.
We loved feeding the chickens and the goats, even took them for a little walk. The cats were low maintenence and very cuddly.
Gizmo was a little firecracker who loved playing football! Cookie was a big softy and Foxy was the most adorable, cuddly real life teddy bear. We absolutely loved our time in Boars Hill and would be happy to sit again! Thank you both.
