Where do we start? My wife, son, doggo, and I absolutely loved sitting for Geo and her fur babies. This is one of those sits that you honestly hate to leave. The home is so cozy and quaint with amazing vibes. A quick 25 minutes and you are in downtown DC. The moment we arrived and met Geo, we knew this was a place we were meant to be at. We honestly don't know what we enjoyed the most. Wolfie is a cute and sweet pup. He followed us around the house and loved to cuddle whether it was on the couch watching TV or sleeping at night. Such an adorable and loving little guy that we dearly miss already. Maple is the most talkative cat I've ever seen. We all got a kick out of her because sometimes it sounded like she was literally talking to us. She loves scratches and gently paws you to let you know she wants more. Shiitake and Kevin were outside cats and greeted us every morning and afternoon with a meow and rub on your leg to let you know it's time to eat. The chickens might have been the funnest of the bunch. I've never in my life seen chickens who greet you and love to be petted. What a fun treat to be around chickens like that. They are beautiful and a blast to hang out with. I could go on and on about this sit and home because it was fantastic. We are hoping our schedule works out to come back in the future. Thank you Geo for your hospitality and entrusting us with your home and pets. Such a peaceful time to be in your home to care for your pets.
Evie could not have done more to make us feel comfortable and confident about caring for her special four-legged family and beautiful home. We received detailed notes and voice messages, and despite being out of town, she was available to answer our queries and assist us whenever connectivity allowed. You will have hit the jackpot if you are successful in being chosen to housesit for Evie, and you will enjoy enormous fun with her sweet Jack Russells. Thank you, Evie and Roel, for the privilege of spending five memorable days in Hartbeespoort.
Helen and Steve made me feel at home right from the start. They offered me to stay a couple of days before they left and even made a lovely dinner one other nights. And then it is the lovely dogs. Teazle and Triky. They are so sweet. Teazle is the more lifly of the 2. They are so easy to look after. Great on and of lead, Tricky a bit slower but no problem. Then it was Maggie the cat. I did not see much of her but she jumped in my bed a few times, but only stayed a few minutes. But Teazle and Tricky slept on my bed all the time. If available I would be happy to come again. Thank you guys for the extra days and the food.
Amazing sit! Alexandra prepared a detailed care guide that helped me quickly ease into the home. I appreciated that she cleared some closet and cupboard space for me too. She was also highly communicative throughout my stay for any questions or local recommendations. Henri and Bing Bing were both lovely to care for and knew their routines well. When Bing isn’t roaming the backyard, she can be found curled up in her spot. She also enjoys attention and her prrs are precious. Henri will supply endless cuddles and steal your heart with his cuteness. I enjoyed taking him on long walks and adventures close by. The home was located in a safe San Jose neighborhood. The space was cozy and relaxing. Plus, I enjoyed their vinyl collection. I highly recommend this sit!
One of our favorite sits to date. Zoey and Marley are some of the sweetest, most loving animals we’ve had the pleasure of caring for. Zoey is such a good walker, cuddler and has a really run personality. Marley is friendlier than most cats and loves to be around people. Paige’s home is beautiful and in a really nice location. Close to the city and everything you need but in a safe, nature filled neighborhood. Paige was super accommodating and took the time to show us the ropes before arriving. We would absolutely love to come back and care for Zoey & Marley anytime.
Cecilia y Micael nos invitaron a su casa un día antes para conocernos y que nosotros conozcamos a los perros. Rosi y Oli se portaron muy bien. Son muy tranquilos y les gusta salir a pasear. Súper recomendable. Muchas gracias!
