Dog Sitters in West Paterson, NJ



Jesse was a great dog and housesitter. Phife was a happy pup when we returned home, and the house was as neat as when we had left it. He was great with communication before and during his trip. We had a couple of concerns with some travel delays because of the weather, and Jesse was so great to keep us updated about his flight schedule and any delays. Luckily, everything was on time and we had the pleasure to meet with Jesse the night before we left for our trip. We would gladly have him back!

Lauren was the ideal house and pet sitter in every way! From the first contact, I clicked with her kind and warm personality. I enjoyed my time away so much more knowing my home and my cat were in good hands. Lauren kept me updated on Pixelle and sent very cute photos. My cat clearly responded very well to her and was well loved and well cared for. Lauren was very respectful of my home, checking with me when she was not sure about anything, and she left my home spotless. She was flexible regarding some date changes, which was very much appreciated. I would highly recommend Lauren and would welcome her to house sit for me again in a heartbeat!

Alexandra was great! She sent photos of my cat and videos! She also had done laundry, vacuumed and changed the bed sheets before she left!

Catherine is sweet, and clearly loves animals. She was wonderful to my two German Shepherds and she is a very clear and responsive communicator. We had some issues throughout the sit that created some stress, including her being a few hours late to start the sit. We got through that ok but then she encountered another issue when she was in a car accident later that day and wasn’t able to get back to the dogs to give them a potty break. We spent a couple panicked hours trying to figure out a solution but ultimately she was able to get there and the boys did not have any accidents. Throughout she was apologetic and attempted to solve the problems, but it definitely created stress on my end during a work trip. Overall they boys were cared for and all was well and I am glad nothing bad happened. This was our first time meeting Catherine so willing to give her the benefit of the doubt on how the sit went as she is lovely in person.

I took a bit of a gamble being Rose’s first Zeewoi sit and it was worth it! Rose was an amazing pet sitter and house sitter. She was very communicative, clean, organized, and made sure Lola was happy and healthy. She has a super cute pup I met on Zoom and I can tell she’s a great dog mamma. I can’t recommend Rose enough. I hope she comes to visit again!

Bweela was absolutely amazing! Communicative, flexible, shared wonderful pictures throughout her stay showing me how comfortable and happy my babies were with her. I would happily have her come stay again.

Monica was an amazing housesitter, not only was she communicative but she took the best care of my cat and dog. During the sit she noticed my dog had a tick attached to him and handled the situation like a pro, removing it from his ear and keeping him calm. Each day she made sure my dog was able to run around outside and my cat got attention and love. She left the house immaculate and my pets well cared for. I would have her back to sit for me in a heartbeat, she was absolutely the best.

April was absolutely top-notch - I can't recommend her strongly enough. She took excellent care of the house, was self-sufficient, and kept me up to date on my cat's welfare with regular check-ins. Most importantly though is the way she looked after my cat, who is fairly timid and usually takes a while to warm to people. It was clearly love at first sight for him with April - from the photos she sent I could see that he felt extremely comfortable with her and was a very happy cat - in fact, I think he might be missing her and he and I hope April might come back again one day :-).

3 weeks was a long time to leave our elderly cat, Tiger, however, Nick looked after him wonderfully well. We came home to a happy cat who had clearly been given lots of attention and care. We would happily welcome Nick back for a future sit.

We loved having Lisa as our house-sitter. She and her husband Taylor were here in Austin for SXSW and so they were generous enough to play music to entertain our kitties -they are a fabulous duo, by the way, and Lisa has a gorgeous singing voice. I know our cats loved them - which is saying a lot because they are used to having us around. Lisa and Taylor sent us lots of photos of our kitties so we knew the whole time that they were being played with and well loved. Our house was immaculate when we returned and everything was top-shape. The plants were watered, the bed sheets were freshly changed and the mail was in a neat stack on the kitchen counter. They even replaced a whole bag of coffee for us, and left a sweet note for us. It was a great experience having them, and we would love to have them back anytime. I was so comfortable the whole time knowing that our house and our cats were in good hands! It felt more like having a friend or neighbor here than someone we didn't know, which was a great feeling. Seeley and Ava are lovely people and were very sweet with our pets. They took great care of our critters and left our apartment neat and tidy. They were reliable and communicative. They were great sitters and we would happily have them back anytime. Five stars all around.
