Bethany and Tyler were amazing. They had everything ready when I arrived including a basket that included essentials I may have forgotten or run out of. I felt like the really cared about me. Millie and Darrow were a blast to hang out with. Millie is the most loving dog and Darrow really loved playtime. I would most definitely sit for Bethany and Tyler again if the chance came up. A 5 star sit.
We had an amazing experience taking care of Izzy! She is the sweetest terrier, and it was so much fun to spend time with her. We had a blast walking Izzy through her neighborhood and taking her on hikes to explore nearby beaches and state parks. Judy and Steve are wonderful hosts, have a beautiful home, and live in a delightful and bucolic neighborhood. They are excellent communicators, provided clear instructions for Izzy as well as their home, and were enjoyable to engage with. We look forward to taking care of Izzy again in the future.
Jeremy & Montse were thoughtful to meet us in person before the departure to help with the dog's transition. They even gifted us some gourment donuts from a local shop which were AMAZING. Lupe and Vera are sweethearts and got used to us very quickly. Lupe will let you know when he wants attention, but also enjoys his alone time resting on his bed. We were very mindful of Vera with her age to prevent accidents, but she also was attentive enough to understand that every time she woke it was time to go outside throughout the day. Both Lupe and Vera are also very easy to walk, and if you walk them together Lupe is a very patient little brother and will stop and wait for Vera to catch up before continuing. The location of this housesitting was great as well! Would love the opportunity to hangout with the pups again if we pass through Austin :)
This was our first sit and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Rob and Jo were flexible enough to accommodate our schedule for a comprehensive walkthrough, and even prepared a really handy set of printed notes. The house is lovely, warm and spacious, and had everything we could possibly need. We don't have a car but found public transport links very good here. The star of the sit was definitely Buddy, our lord and master while we stayed at Rob and Jo's place. Buddy is an excellent communicator and shows you exactly what he wants, so it's easy and fun to keep him happy. We love Buddy and hope he found us passable.
Good communication, gorgeous puppy, well provided for, would like to sit again.
What an amazing sit! Two beautiful dogs who just love to lap up attention from both adults and kids. Teddy is full of energy and loves chasing his ball. Wilbur is a bit more subdued but still loves attention. Both dogs are excited to join you for a walk but they are also just as content in your company at home. A very easy to care for home with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Botanic gardens, swimming pool milkbar and restaurants are an easy walk nearby. Tony & Helen were both just lovely to converse with and gave a detailed overview of how best to care for Teddy, Wilbur and their home. They were so welcoming and informative, left detailed notes and were happy to be contacted as required. I highly recommend taking this sit.
