Louise
We stayed with Oreo last weekend, that was our first experience and we enjoyed it so much. We stayed for only 3days, Oreo needed an afternoon to be accustom to us, but then after that she was very friendly and fun. She live her life, she is independent but she is asking for some attention and cuddles sometimes. She is very sweet and gentle.
Louise & Tim are very good and friendly people, we are very grateful to them for giving us the opportunity to sit Oreo. That was a real pleasure for us.
Hope to see you around.

Elizna
It was a great pleasure to meet and take care of Shiloh and Fererro, they are just the sweetest cutest dogs, they won my heart immediately. They are well behaved and so affectionate, especially little Ferrero who followed me everywhere and would come snuggle beside me when i was on my laptop or watching TV. Shiloh is younger and a little more boisterous, one minute she craves attention then the next she’s not interested! but is so lovely and good natured, they both are and both are so delightful and good company. They are easy and a joy to look after. I was genuinely very sad to say good bye to both them.

The house has a nice kitchen and comfy lounge, a huge back garden which is great to play chase and catch-and-fetch with Shiloh and Ferrero, which they love. Nearby across the main road is a lovely scenic stream walk, the dogs love walking there, i took them out twice a day, great fun was had by all.

Elizna is a very nice person, she was a great communicator, we texted regularly, it was great to know i had her support at all times. She left a very detailed printout with instructions of Shiloh and Ferrero’s requirements and needs and house instructions which was brilliant to have.

Elizna left the dogs bathed and looking fluffy and lovely, brushing them daily was a treat for them and me, especially with cuddles after.

All in all a wonderful sit, i’d look after Shiloh and Ferrero again anytime.

There is a bus stop at the end of the street, the #13 bus takes 30 minutes to downtown Napier. Taradale Shops are a 15 minute walk away and 2 of Hawke’s Bay best wineries, Church Road and Mission Estate, are 10 minutes walk away along the stream path. Fabulous Anderson Park is 10 minutes walk away close a New World supermarket.

We really enjoyed getting to know all of your animals Cristel. They were great fun to look after. It was also lovely to be in the mountains. Thank you for a very memorable experience for me and my kids.

Mia
This sit was great because Mia and Tim are great pet parents and made everything easy. I tripped the alarm by mistake once and got a text - 'it happens'. The pets were great...Charlie is slowing down but appreciates scratches and attention just like any pet. Remy comes and goes and will gladly stretch out on the carpet for scratches, even sharing the bed sometimes.
The house is great and they had just installed a heat pump so even in the worst heat the house was frosty. (It's July, it's hot!).
The area is great..you could go one direction and be on Belmont or the other direction and be on Hawthorne Blvd. Hawthorne has more going on and has a vintage vibe. There's 3-4 vintage shops and some of the restaurants are throw-backs...'Little Griddle'. I had an introduction through Mia to a nice Italian restaurant and the owner knew all about me when I got there (Jeff @ "Three Doors Down"). Very nice time all-around and I got my pet-fix which I always appreciate since I don't currently own any pets. Highly-recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at Sean's place in the Oakland hills. Jackson and Cora are both sweet and low key. We enjoyed the proximity to the quaint Montclair District and the nearby East Bay regional parks. Sean was welcoming and explained everything clearly to us.

Sean and Columbia
We truly enjoyed our time in Brinlack with Siog and Lugh! The housesit was exactly as described and Sean and Columbia fully prepared us for a successful sit at their home. Siog and Lugh were adorable and well behaved and the location of their home in the idyllic Irish countryside can’t be beat. We were lucky enough to spend time with Sean and Columbia on either end of the sit and we thoroughly enjoyed their company, hospitality, and shared passion for travel. We would highly recommend this sit for anyone with a passion for dogs, the outdoors and quaint rural living!
