This was our first experience with zeewoi, but when we invited initial applications and saw Caroline and Rick’s profile, we immediately felt that they were ideal. We spoke several times, and they kindly guided us through the procedures from their side, inspiring confidence before they had even stepped over the threshold! On handover day, they arrived exactly as arranged, giving us time to chat and go over things before catching our plane. They are lovely, friendly, thoughtful people and we knew immediately that Monty and Hector – and, of course, our home – would be in safe and caring hands. We had alerted them to Monty’s recent injury, curtailing long walks somewhat for them, and also to elderly Hector’s recent decline, but they so generously said it was all fine and would not be an issue for them or detract from their visit. Whilst away, Caroline gave us an encouraging update each day, and, indeed, we both exchanged photos. On our return, we found that they had left the barn immaculately clean and tidy. The boys were as calm and happy as can be, as if they had really enjoyed being with the guests. Our fridge was welcoming, all bedding had been beautifully washed and ironed and, as if that wasn’t wonderful enough, spring flowers, chocolates and a card were so thoughtfully waiting for us on the kitchen table. Thank you so much, Caroline and Rick, for making our first housesit a breeze - a joy to return and a real holiday for Monty and Hector too! You will be most very welcome when we next go away. We recommend Caroline and Rick without hesitation, and any homeowner and animals would be lucky to be in their kind and capable hands. 5 stars throughout.
