I honestly can't believe I found such amazing people on this site! What a pleasure to have these two look after my furry children. They went ABOVE & BEYOND the call of petsitting! I even threw a curveball at them and they stepped up to the challenge: after they booked with me, my dog passed away from cancer unexpectedly. So I began fostering a puppy and ended up adopting him. He was SO much more work than I could have expected myself or prepared them for, but they handled it with such grace that I'm still reeling. PLUS they took care of my sick kitty. THANK YOU SYDNEY & DAVIS!
Jessica and Nate were extremely accommodating at their home. They are expert house sitter hosts and Coda, thier dog, is such a gem! The location of the house is only 15 minutes away downtown and convenient to visit the hot spots of Seattle.
I just loved this sit for the wonderful, gorgeous Eric. He is adorable. Medburn is a beautiful village in the heart Northumberland. The neighbours were friendly and helpful. The accommodation and area was stunning. The property was spacious and perfect for my husband & myself. We even had separate living rooms and Dave could watch his football while Eric and I cuddled up on the sofa watching a good movie or good book in the other living room. Each day we all went out no matter what the weather found and explored the beautiful coasts & countryside of Northumberland such as Sycamore Gap, Close House, Wallington Hall, Rothbury, Morpeth, Plessey Woods Alnwick, Craster, sugar sands and more. Eric and us had a wonderful time in the magical Northumberland. Christina & her lovely family were a kind, thoughtful and welcoming family and made our stay special. I would highly recommend this sit to other pet/house sitters.
Since I started my THS journey, I have been blessed with amazing home owners and I am grateful for every single one of them, Loretta is the one that really stood out. She was tremendously generous to me, has a house in one of the most beautiful places on earth and the one and only Queen of San Miguel de Allende, her majesty “Encarnación Guadalupe Conception Inocencia”. As a new employee in her Kingdom, you need to proof yourself to her that you are worthy of touching her. Also, she knows how to open drawers and cupboards and likes to play hide and seek, so train for that. At night, she is patrolling the castle to make sure, you are where you are suppose to be at night, in bed! When you leave the castle, her majesty expects a bye-bye treat, do it or live with the consequences. By the way, you don’t need to remember all that, Queen Enca doesn’t need words to rule, one look at her facial expression and you know exactly what to do.
My boyfriend and I just had the best time! Lady is an absolute dream dog and loves a good snuggle as well as an adventurous walk where she can sniff to her heart’s content. We had a lovely few days with this beautiful Beagle in this cozy home and left feeling like we made new friends - what a fabulous part of the world this is. We had a nice soak in the hot tub on a windy night, and it was so relaxing watching some Christmas telly in the snug with Lady curled up next to me. Helen and Keith left us lots of ideas for walks and we discovered some incredible pubs, all with excellent food in the area. Don’t miss a walk to the Brontë falls, dogs love it. We definitely recommend Dick Hudsons, The Malt, Pave and The Turkey Inn, all dog friendly with wonderful staff. We did a long walk somewhere different most days via the car and a short drive but there is a nice field and a woodland loop right out the door, Lady will show you herself! We would definitely recommend this sit to anyone, thank you Lady and her hoomans, and we miss you already.
Our stay with Olly was very enjoyable because we were looking to petsit a Golden since Mateo grew up with goldens. Olly is extremely friendly and always ready to play, and which we took advantage of quite a bit. Before our visit, we had a video call with April, and Danny explained us all we needed to know when we got to their house. Olly might push a bit when walking but nothing that some treats can’t control Their house is beautiful and located in one of the best areas of Sydney. Highly recommended.
It was a pleasure to house sit for Brian and look after the lovely Cookie. The house is set on a peaceful hillside with a lovely garden with lots of shade and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Brian was very welcoming and made us feel at home before he left on his trip. We had a wonderful stay and hope we can visit again one day. Cookie was an angel 👼
