Sheena
Communication with Sheena was excellent before and during the sit.
The house is large, clean and comfortable. Really convenient for the town and nearby places to visit.
Yeti is an absolute sweetie. She is much misunderstood because of the barking, which happens for various reasons. As she is so big, so is her bark! However, once out on a lead for a walk it stops - even when walking past the dogs she usually barks at/with.
We walked her twice a day every day and it made her too tired to bark. We came across other dog walkers, dogs in yards, loose cats all of which she either ignored or was just curious about. The only time she barked was when I lingered too long looking at the High school tortoise - my fault, not hers.
Yeti is a real cuddle monster, loves sitting on the sofa and snuggling. Really soft and gentle.
I would say that future sitters need to be experienced with big dogs and prepared to take her out - better for her and you.
We were able to stay an extra night at the end of the stay - arranged before the sit started, due to the time of their return.
Thanks very much.

Enjoyed my time in Barnsley with Dave's two blue cats. Close to the town centre and comfortable home. Would definitely sit again.

Loved the sweet kitties Duchess and Dusty! They were so cute and dusty even cuddled me. They let me know when they were hungry, and other than that would just lay in the room I was hanging out in. The home was cozy and they were so generous with their space!

I had a lovely time looking after Tully and Cleo. They are both very sweet cats. David and Emily were great hosts and made my stay very easy. The flat was very well set up and had everything I needed for the weekend plus the location is great and well connected to transport links.

Such a gorgeous retreat! Deborah is such a sweetheart and I had the most interesting conversation with her when we met. I think we could’ve talked for hours. I felt like I was staying at a luxury resort, with the comfy bed, gourmet kitchen, sooo much space..and the patio..Omg the patio. I spent a lot of evenings watching the sunset from there, and desert sunsets are divine. Deborah’s home is in a safe and quiet neighborhood, is spotless and uncluttered, and I was made to feel at home.
The kitties!!! I thought their coats matched Utah landscapes! Their colours are beautiful. Such sweet girls, and very easy to care for. Sienna is hilarious with her sassy pants boss-girl chats, and Bella (the feral) is a darling who is soooo wanting to get close but she’s too shy. If you sit quietly near the door she’ll come closer though, and I was lucky enough to feel her lil nose touch my hand for a split second. She loves rubbing against your hand through the screen door glass..so sweet.
So much fun to do nearby!! My fave was Snow Canyon (thanks for the suggestion Deborah!). Also, downtown Saint George, and the Desert Garden. Everything you need is at your fingertips.
I’d sit again in a heartbeat 💜
