Nina
I had the absolute pleasure of spending a few days at Nina and Toby’s home. Upon finalising the sit, Nina mentioned that they had recently taken back one of their dog Myfi’s puppies, so I agreed to look after mother and daughter dogs, their cat, and kept an eye on their daughter’s snake.

Myfi and Bisto are two very unique personalities..Myfi super laid back and Bisto a spunky firecracker! I ended up doing some training with them both and they picked up everything so quickly and loved the games and challenges I made up for them. The spaniels were very amusing and kept me in chuckles due to their antics, as they are spaniels through and through, so will collect your shoes and carry them proudly around the house lol

Assam the cat and I were instant friends. He is a lovely and affectionate Burmese who will give you cuddles and purrs while keeping you company in bed at night.

Pan the snake pretty much kept to himself and was very easy, as I just had to keep an eye on him and ensure he had water.

Nina and Toby’s home is a lovely stone house from the late 1800s…full of character and brimming with family life! I loved the incredibly warm, cozy, and comfortable guest suite at the top of the house and it arguably has the best view, as it looks out onto their back garden. My absolute favourite was the woodturner in their kitchen, which was cosy to curl up to while their pups took naps in their beds at my feet. Their home is very cosy and the epitome of what you'd expect a lived-in home in the English countryside.

Nina and Toby were incredibly laid back and accommodating hosts, allowing me to arrive a bit early before the sit start to align with my travel/get acclimated, welcomed me to meals with their family before they left, and left me with a thoughtful welcome gift to enjoy while they were gone. They were communicative from start to finish. They were also kind to lend their National Trust membership with me which allowed me to visit some of the attractions in the area.

Bath as well is a lovely and very walkable city (one of my faves in the UK) and they are very well situated just a few minutes walk to city centre, while the surrounding area has ample walks to explore with their dogs, who could easily go for hours if you let them as they love exploring! After our morning walks, the pets were fine to be left alone for a good amount of time, which allowed me to explore the city after I ensured all their needs were met.

I think “charming” is the best way to describe all aspects of this sit…hosts, house, city, and pets included.

Christina and Tony were the most incredible hosts. They took me around exploring Cyprus a few days before and after the house sit, which was so lovely. Flash and Fred are great dogs. They have a beautiful temperament and are so sweet. The house is in a beautiful location and it's a very easy walk to town so a car isn't necessary. I would definitely dog sit for them again.

Oli
We had such a great time sitting for Leda. She's so sweet and well-behaved, always up to play and be cuddled. We couldn't stop spending time with her.
Oli and Jem were a great help. Apart from the fact that they look like the perfect family you see on TV, their house is spectacular: quiet, clean, spacious, and in a great position, a short walk to the town center.
We received a detailed welcome guide on taking care of Leda, everything regarding the house, and some great tips about what to do and visit in Hastings.
We recommend it to everyone who wants a holiday near the seaside.
We can't wait to sit again for Oli and Jem, and keep spoiling Leda.

Maryellen
Consider yourself lucky if you get to stay in Maryellen’s beautiful home with her 2 love bug cats! The cats are so sweet, I absolutely adore them. It’s been over a week since I left and I still miss them! Maryellen and Charlie are really kind people with great communication. Everything I needed to know about the home and cats was written in the welcome guide that was there when I arrived making it easy to look through things as needed. Maryellen also allowed me to use the State park pass which I used almost daily to go to Seacliff beach and Nisene Marks. The cats are very low maintenance and independent however they love brush time and play time so I made that apart of our daily routine. I hope to housesit here again and would recommend anyone to accept the sit if offered :)

Jerame and Juliana
Jerame and Juliana were very gracious hosts, welcoming me very warmly to their beautiful home. My stay was very comfortable and it was a joy caring for and loving on Lily and Rose. The girls and I got very attached. Lily was pouting as I left and it was hard to say goodbye to this lovely family. They made my stay in Grecia Costa Rica, very memorable and I highly recommend this sit.

Steven
I had a wonderful time looking after Newton. He is such a fun and lovable cat that I got good friends with. I will miss waking up to his meowing! Steven and Cassie were so helpful and sweet. They showed me around the flat before my stay and we had easy communication via Whatsapp. They truly went above and beyond with making sure I felt comfortable in the flat and even gave me homemade cookies as a welcome to enjoy during my stay which were delicious! The flat is located in the heart of Torshov with shops, cafees and restaurants at your doorstep. The flat was wonderful with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. I even enjoyed talking with Alexa;) I am so happy that I could look after Newton and I would love to pet sit him again.
