It was such a delight to have Tammy come sit for us again! Our pups are always so happy and taken care of when she comes to visit. She communicates so clearly, and goes the extra mile to ensure we feel our home and dogs are in good hands. We're hoping this is the second of many future sits!
This was a great sit! Cabbie is an awesome dog, practically walks himself, and is very lovable. Mt. Shasta is beautiful and has a lot of things to offer - I recommend visiting the museum by the fishery if you get a chance. The house itself is lovely and has a great view of the mountain from it’s back porch.
Karena's home was an oasis! Beautiful location and a beautiful home. Kosmo is the kindest, gentlest, smartest, well trained dog! He stole our hearts immediately. And his two companions Charlie and Aspen were so cuddly and fun. Karena was responsive to all queries we had and made us feel at home in her home. The bedroom we stayed in was very comfortable, and the peaceful surroundings and lovely ensuite were so appreciated. It was truly a dream house sit. We enjoyed hikes in the area and the quaint shops in Bragg Creek. Thank you for entrusting us with your home and very precious fur babies, Karena!
This was my first house and pet sit arranged through Trusted Housesittets and what a perfect first companion little Rusty was. She is quite simply a joy to spend time with. She’s such a character. She loves her walks and food, and does a little spin and then foot tapping dance at the prospect of both :) Heather is a great host and I was treated to a delicious meal with the family on the evening before they departed, and a tour of the local area, including Rusty’s favourite walks. The house is really lovely and in a great location, close to tube stations and walking distance to the Thames and Tate Britain amongst other destinations. However, I found myself making excuses not to leave Rusty, as she truly is such a pleasure to be with.
I loved watching Astro, Fermi and Hanalei! They are all so sweet, each of course with their own personalities. I was extremely impressed with Fermi and Hanalei on our hikes together - they are both well behaved both on and off leash! They are both loving and affectionate companions (especially Fermi - he stole my heart)! I realized quickly on the trail just how much Hanalei loves the water! As Astro is an indoor/outdoor cat, he tagged along for the first 5-10 minutes of our walk one day, then decided to do his own thing. Carol is a great host! So welcoming and she explained everything. Her home is peaceful with stunning views of the mountains! If you’re looking for a relaxing sit with some dogs and a cat that are a pleasure to care for, I’d highly recommend this one. Thanks Carol, I had a fantastic time with your furry family!
Had a lovely stay in Wexford. Joan and Nathan's comfortable home is located in a quiet neighborhood with a fenced back garden and plenty of scenic places to walk. There's a large market just down the hill and a lively high street and lakefront a bit further down. Gus is a happy puppy who loves to play ball and be wherever you are. Milo is an affectionate cat who enjoys napping in the sun outside on the deck or in your lap, watching Netflix. The boys were most excellent companions for my extended sit.
Harley is one of the sweetest dogs I’ve looked after, and is happiest when he’s by your side, or going for walks. He’s very happy to chill while you work, and loves sleeping on the bed with you in the evenings. Christine and Manoj were incredible hosts, and made everything easy. They were kind enough to have me stay, just prior to the sit beginning, with Christine cooking an authentic Indian curry, which was delicious. They also brought me back a thoughtful gift from India, which I am very grateful for. I was lucky enough to meet, and make friends with the whole family, who were very gregarious, fun, and welcoming. Their home itself, has all mod cons, is very spacious, and comes with a lovely private garden. It’s nestled between two tube stations, with shops and bars all nearby, in a great location. I will look forward to seeing them all again soon, and catching up with Harley who I’ve been missing!
