Leticia and Hjen were great housesitters! They treated Scout like he was their own dog, gave him lots of attention and took him for lots of walks (and pup cups haha). Great communication and daily photo updates. They also were very proactive and helpful when Scout ended up chipping his tooth and were willing to take him to the vet. Unfortunately after I left, my dog developed a staph infection from scratching due to allergies. Peter notified me right away that a sore had developed and with my permission took him to the vet right away. He followed the medical instructions, including the poor dog having to wear a cone. Peter kept me informed as to the condition and how it was progressing. When I arrived home the infection had healed nicely and the dog is doing well. I was sorry that Peter had to deal with this unexpected development, but he handled it very competently. Because of Peter's frequent communication I always felt that I didn't have to worry, the situation was being handled professionally and that my dog was in good hands.

I highly recommend Deborah and Tom for your house sitting and - more importantly! - animal sitting. We were fortunate enough to have them look after our 1912 house, our elderly cat and our active young dog for six weeks this spring. We couldn't be happier with their care of our home and for our animals. (And we are very particular about care for our animals.) > Their stay was complicated by the fact that the week before we left, Joe, our 16-year-old cat, was unwell. He was on the mend by our day of departure, but we left knowing that if his condition returned, we might have to make decisions from abroad about his care. Deborah and Tom knew about his condition. We felt comfortable knowing that if difficult decisions had to be made, they were just the people we would want with Joe. Fortunately, in their care, Joe thrived, and we came home six weeks later to a cat you'd never have known had been sick. He's also a very shy cat, but grew comfortable within days with Deb and Tom, even allowing Deb to pick him up (the only person other than me and the vet who has been able to do so!) > Our dog Poppy is a three-year-old rescue from Mexico with a lot of energy who is also sometimes reactive to other female dogs. Deb and Tom met with us in advance so they could learn how we deal with that (positive reinforcement when she doesn't react) and all went well. Poppy is so in love with them that she literally bowled them over with her enthusiasm when she got to see them again after their house stay. You can always trust your dog's reaction to people. > We have a character house with a large garden. Deb and Tom cared for both beautifully. > They are also very easy to deal with and are excellent communicators, keeping us posted on things as needed. They are dependable, responsible people who will love and care for your pets and your home. > They're so great that we've already booked them again for the fall!

Lauren, Mark are a beautiful family together with their adorable children and their dad Vladimir, they are all excellent people. They are really very cute, very kind. Lauren before leaving showed me where everything was that I was going to need for Ciara, Grazie, the 2 fish and the flowers and plants they have. Everything was in order and clean. We always had a lot and very good communication. Vladimir is very kind, a very sweet man with a great spirit and I will miss his talks, they are very interesting, he was always attentive in the house opposite in case I needed something and even showed me Ciara's favorite paths. Ciara and Grazie are extremely intelligent and obedient, they seem to understand exactly what you are telling them, not only do you order them to stop or move forward, but everything you tell them. They kept me company a lot, especially at night. Ciara has her sleeping cage so Grazie can be in the same room without a problem. Grazie obviously comes in and out whenever she wants but when you call her she comes right back. And they are both very tender, really an excellent company I fell in love with them both. The house is very comfortable and you have everything to be able to be very well. Everything works perfect. Lauren is very kind and made space for me in the bathroom and in the closet, she allowed me to take whatever I needed from the kitchen and the bathroom as well. The house is 30 minutes by public transport from Downtown, the bus stop is only 3 minutes walking, it is a very quiet place, just 1 block from a park, the neighbors are very friendly and everyone who has a dog knows Ciara who gets very excited to see the ones she loves the most. Really if you go to Vancouver I recommend Lauren's house you will have a very comfortable stay and you will be very well accompanied by Ciara and Grazie. I will miss them! Kisses!

We just completed a wonderful week taking care of Abby's very sweet cat, Walnut.  The week passed very quickly, and we were sad to see it end!

What a delightful cat Walnut is--VERY playful, VERY affectionate and VERY curious.   Just a lovely personality.
Abby was  welcoming, and generous with her availability both prior to and during the sit, very quick to respond to questions, and very accommodating.  The apartment is in a nice, convenient area of Berkeley, not far from some pretty areas to go hiking and some beautiful areas of the city.  

We really enjoyed ourselves, and highly recommend this sit!

We spent a lovely week in the idyllic French countryside in the company of the delightful Alfie!
Elizabeth and Jonathon are great hosts- friendly, welcoming and generous. Due to travel logistics we were not able to meet in person but we did have a video call with them some weeks before and were provided with a detailed Welcome Guide and notes.
Alfie, himself, welcomed us enthusiastically on our arrival! and Elizabeth had left lots of welcome goodies for us, including dinner for our arrival night, which was very much appreciated!
Their home is comfortable and relaxing, in a peaceful location with beautiful views from the garden and walks directly from the door.
Alfie was a wonderful companion! He has a lovely gentle nature and is very sweet and affectionate. We really enjoyed hanging out with him and taking our daily walks together at the lake. We became extremely fond of him!
The hens were also very sweet, easy to care for and provided delicious eggs!
Contact with Elizabeth was great at all times. 
We can happily recommend this sit! 😊

I had great time in Santa Cruz at Wendy’s and Dan’s house. The place was very peaceful, a few minutes walk to the harbor and the beach. Wendy was always available to answer any questions. Cleo the cat was affectionate and well trained healthy fellow. I’m glad I met the family!
