It was great sitting Storm in Basalt. She is such a sweet and good dog. We enjoyed taking her twice a day to the 400 acre ranch where we walked along the river and creeks. Jaelin and Dave’s house is beautiful and comfortable. It is located close to restaurants and beautiful parks. We enjoyed visiting old town Basalt, Aspen, and Glenwood Springs. This was a wonderful experience.
Mary and I had a great time in Greenford looking after Kirstie, Hamish, Tillie and Lola. Gary and Maria very kindly made dinner the night before they left for their cruise to south-east Asia and were super company. Kirstie and Hamish are seriously cute, a couple of little characters who love to walk in the local park just a couple of hundred yards from the house. Hamish would chase and fetch ball all day long if he could. Kirstie is a bit more sedate and lady-like. The two cats are affectionate as well and don't venture far from the house and the back garden. As the listing points out, there is a half mile walk to Greenford Underground station and, from there, you can be in the centre of London in about 20-25 minutes. Nearby to Greenford there are a couple of interesting museums: the Battle of Britain Bunker in Uxbridge and the RAF museum in Hendon. Both are well worth seeing. Mary and I can recommend this sit whole-heartedly.
It was very easy to communicate with Sophie prior to my arrival and while I was staying in her airy flat. Esmé is a real pleasure to spend time with as she is both quiet and relaxed, but also likes ot interact with you. She is a very well-behaved girl and always greets you at the door as well as purrs a lot. The tram is a 5-min walk from Sophie's and central Zürich is close to the flat and offers many exciting museums and stores. I would love to be back catsitting Esmé should the opportunity arise.
I had a wonderful week in Martha’s and Ryan’s home with Benji. Benji is a lovely cat, easy to look after and likes to cuddle up on the sofa. Martha and Ryan were very welcoming and always replied my questions promptly. The house is in a qreat quiet area with good bus connections in many directions. I recommend sitting for Martha and Ryan and would love to come back!
It was an immense pleasure to spend time looking after Iris' beautiful house, and dogs, in Tuscany. So utterly tranquil in the rolling hills, yet offering the opportunity to visit the many iconic Tuscan destinations surrounding you. There was great initial and ongoing communication from the host, including clear and precise instructions about the animals to be cared for. The dogs are absolutely wonderful, all having their own unique personalities and needs, and it was heart-wrenching to leave the lovable rascals behind, but if the opportunity arose again to care for them, we would jump at the chance, without any hesitation. 5 start host and accommodation, thoroughly recommended if you get the chance.
Cora and spooky were amazing! Cora is the sweetest host and approachable. Spooky was very skittish a first but she warmed up to me after combing her hair and giving her treats. She’s very playful and loves to be around people. The studio is very cute and cozy and the neighbors are really nice. I felt very safe. I would love to sit again for them, but my current job situation is unstable. Highly recommend!
