I left my two dogs for a week with them. One was 15 and I made them aware that she had an eye ulcer and it needed to be watched. When I picked them up my 15 year old dog had a horrible eye infection. Her whole eye was covered in a film of pus. For the life of me, I have NO idea how NO ONE noticed it! I was so upset that I ran out of the place. I don’t blame them for the infection, but the fact that no one noticed it. It was clear as day. All you needed to do was look at her face. I spoke to the owner and she was very apologetic. She thanked me for being so calm with them and said she’d pay for the vet bill. I sent her a copy of the bill, and haven’t received anything since. No call, no check, nothing. My dog is now deceased (not their fault). I’m VERY disappointed that a pet care service that charges so much could be this careless and not follow up on what they promised to do. I have attached a picture of her eye after I had wiped the pus off. I didn’t think to take one before.
I drive from Henrietta to Macedon It's a great place . The staff is great also. She's been going there for 3 years now. She gets her own bed and a tsp of peanut butter at lights out. There are no crates at all.
My dog came home more sociable with bigger dogs! He boarded for 1 week and came back better behaved, clean, and happy. All you could ask for. Creekside allowed him to keep his homemade meals he is used too.
My dog loves being kennelled there every 4 months or so when I visit my sister. The last time we were driving home he whimpered a little, I'm sure it's not because he missed me but because he missed all of his dog friends and the people there!
Dogs spend most of the time in concrete floored stalls with only a blanket if they are lucky. Dogs only go outside 4 times a day in fenced in yards with little to no grass. Proper safe dog handling tools are not available such as muzzles and or catch poles for aggressive dogs not as great a thay sound I would NEVER take any dog there
Amazing!! The only place I trust my animals with! They have been fantastic. My dog has epilepsy and they were great about giving her her medicine they even gave her 1 on 1 care when she had a series of seizures at the lodge, they followed up with me daily and they even got her care when it was needed! We always love to see pictures of our crew having fun while we are away! We had our animals stay at the lodge but we know all of the locations are. Great! I love how the dogs aren't in a kennel theyre in stalls and raised beds!
We love this place, and so does our dog! She usually is scared to go places, but when she gets there, her tail wags, and she runs to the door!
Creekside Acres is a fantastic place to board your dogs. We have 2 large and one tiny dog, and they were able to accommodate all 3 in a shared suite so they would not be separated. Additionally, one of my dogs can be defensive if he is nervous. When he realized we were boarding him (luggage in the car was a give away) he became defensive at the employees. They were incredibly patient with him and took their time to make him comfortable and let him relax. I definitely recommend Creekside! They understand dog behavior, and I got the feeling they really care about your pets' wellbeing.
Creekside Acres was great. They kept in contact with us when there was any concerns about or dog that was staying there while we were out of town. The facility is setup with large rooms for reach dog to sleep in. The rooms have a Dutch door which is usually half open so your dog is not in a small crate. When we picked up or dog they showed us a number of pictures of her playing outside with other dogs. They best part was she was all washed when we picked her up. They have a no dirty dog policy as well as if you stay for 5+nights you get a free bath. I will use them again when we are out of town and not able to bring our dog.
My K9 and Coco were there for a week and had a great time. They even made some new friends! The staff is very friendly, and they give your fur baby the attention and caring they deserve.
We have boarded our dog here and it is always a wonderful experience. The communication is excellent and the daily pictures are an absolute joy. The staff are kind and attentive. Paws and Claws has been the best boarding experience in the area. A big shout out to all of you.
Just completed the teenage puppy class with Jeff, and it was one of the better experiences I've had in the process of training my puppy. Jeff is highly knowledgeable and helped boost the confidence of both me and my puppy. The classes include a huge number of resources distributed by his partner Fran, which allows you to keep working with your puppy for a long time. I highly recommend this class to anyone and everyone!
We just completed Jeff’s teen puppy training with our dog Duke and it was great! I highly recommend! He really understands the nature of dogs and is a very effective trainer! Our dog learned a lot and more importantly, we learned how to reinforce the behavior we want and discourage what we don’t want. We will definitely be signing up for more classes with Jeff!
We boarded our girl here for our wedding and had the most incredible experience! The daily pictures (including a special wedding pic) showed the happiest dog in the world, making our mornings so bright. She was THRILLED and very obviously enriched and cared for. For about a week after we picked her up, all she did was sleep! Tired dog = happy dog! She takes daily medication and wishes every other animal would perish which makes it hard to find a boarding facility we can trust to keep her safe (and any other animals) without her just being trapped in a crate. We are so lucky to have found Paws and Claws! Everyone here works together SO WELL to accomplish the incredibly difficult and nuanced task of providing such a high level of care. I love my dog more than anything so to say I would trust Paws and Claws to watch her ANYTIME, I really mean it. They’re the best!
I took my shih tzu to Paws and Claws for a dog training course with Jeff Bushorr. Jeff was an excellent trainer. He was very personable and super sweet with all of the dogs. He provided great education on dog behavior and positive behavior reinforcement. I highly recommend him.
I am very happy with this place. I booked last minute last week and they were able to accommodate all 3 of my cats! Not only was the communication great, they sent pictures of my babies every day so that I knew they were okay :) I will definitely be using this place again! You definitely get what you pay for.
Great service - valet drop-off and pickup. Personnel are always friendly and helpful. A caring place for doggie daycare or boarding. You can trust that your ,Fido will be well cared for.
Paws and Claws is a wonderful, well run, clean, and safe daycare and boarding center! The staff truly care and go out of their way to make sure your dogs needs are met and then some! My dog Ivy loves going to “school” at Paws and Claws!
Our pup has gone there for three years, it’s the only place we trust when we go out of town and need boarding! The staff is always so helpful and genuinely care about the animals. Plus they send cute pics!! I would give them 10 stars if I could!!!
Canine Good Citizens’ recent class was run by Jeff and his assistant Dan. Though we met only 1 hour, once a week, my dog and I learned the skills needed to pass~demonstrating the importance of practice! The human (handler) is the true student. The dog (beloved- animal-friend) is the reward we work toward. If we hope to modify behaviors and achieve certain skills with our dog, we first learn how to teach. P&C’s trainers teach the humans to teach their dogs! Through our training we ask our dogs to work with us and we stand by our expectations. Positive reinforcement is the only method deployed. Humans are expected to be consistent and reinforce (as homework) in order to effectively teach their dog. 5 stars- Comfort and safety level within the building, class and with the instructors. 5 stars- encouraged to ask questions and ask for help 5 stars- cleanliness of the environment 5 stars- professional, kind, empathetic trainers. 5 stars- fun, interesting educational, worth the cost of the course 5 + stars- Jeff’s two dogs…Thor and BamBam are wonderful, intelligent, loving dogs. Cutest mascots Ever!!!
Our dog loves coming to Creekside Resort and we feel very secure that she receives the best care during her stays.
Creekside is wonderful. I highly recommend them. My dog Stanley loves to go there
Every time I bring LUNA, she is so loved by the staff. They do not believe in cages. She gets her own suite and bed for boarding, and the door is half a door so they can look out. The handlers know how to handle each and every dog. Dogs are matched with other dogs their size. I've never heard one complaint. I made a huge mistake By trying that Central Bark. First day at that Central bark. Was a free observation day. I'm sure she didn't change from that Monday the 22nd or that Tuesday they never said a word. Now Monday the Jan 5th, I brought her in at 7am. at 8:10, they called me to go there, and they then decided that they couldn't handle her. It goes to show that their in it for your money. They charged the 84 dollars for the whole day. The owner never called me back either. Please checkout out Creekside on Hence Rd. It's a little drive, but it's so worth it. Just look at what they have to offer. If your dog isn't crate trained, don't bother with the other place it's the first place The dogs go. Luna is a happy go lucky Yellow Lab. So much for their training I paid for. Sorry for the rambling. Just a heads up.
They have always taken great care of my 2 dogs during trips. One doesn't like to be around other dogs and they are able to get her separate play time. The other is social and loves all the group play they have.
The staff is super friendly. They take the precautions to ensure that pets are safe. Melissa and her team genuinely care about thier work and their technique is effective. Very happy with how my dog's behaviors have improved.
The 3 Creekside Kennels are the best I’ve ever used. Each dog has a private room with a Dutch door. The extensive green space offers a great space for the dogs to run and play outside. They are an inclusive facility and will specialize their care to meet your dog’s needs. My dog is always happy to go off with the staff and is never miffed at me when I return. 😊 I highly recommend Creekside.
I absolutely LOVE this place. I have 4 dogs that i board here and i never worry when away. I know they are well taken care of, love the fb posts as well so u can see your pups having a blast. Definitely recommend.
This place is so good! The people there are so nice and treat people with the upmost kindness and respect. My dog went there for 2 weeks and came back in perfect shape. Thank you for all you do!
Melissa has helped me evaluating my pups and suggestions to try at home. They have doggy daycare and for longer stays they have 5 star accommodations for your furbaby. Each pup gets a suite and enjoy playtime outside on her sprawling property what a treat! For peace of mind and knowing they are in capable hands is worth it must see to appreciate❤️
We brought our dog here for a one day e-collar course. It's been amazing. She was well trained before, but it was hard to get her to stop jumping up on people when they came to the house. With one e-collar session, no more jumping! She heels amazingly well and comes immediately now too! Great place!
I dog sit for a precious little toy of a pup named Chiyo. I just picked her up from a one week boarding and she is immaculate. Her personality is happy and vibrant and her stools have never been better. Clearly a lot of loving feelings in their care at this boarding home. Thank you. Will be referring all dog loving friends.
The best training/daycare facility in the world! I have over a year old Cane Corso who needed some help. I tried and tried getting her into places and seeing trainers but no one would take her or try to help her. She has gotten kicked out of veterinary clinics but she is so sweet. I found Josette and her team online and I thought I would try it. Sent a message and we met. My girl Harley we found out has fear aggression that she inherited. Josette wanted to help her and I was so happy someone wanted to help. She went for a 3 week board and train and I was so nervous leaving her because you could not leash her she would get scared and try to bite. Couple of days I got a message letting me know how she was and she was not doing so good but Josette was not giving up. I then got a video of her leashed and walking. Now is Harley 100% fixed no but 3 weeks later I picked her up and I noticed a big difference in her. She explained what I had to do to work with her. I still work with her and it’s amazing her progress. Some of the things I never knew Harley needed. Josette helped Harley when no one would and I’m so grateful for her and her team. I would never send Harley anywhere even if Harley didn’t have problems. She did go for daycare and soon needs to go back lol. But she went months after her training and Harley did so good. I’m so happy Harley is happy there. It was the best money I have ever spent. So if you are thinking about taking your dog anywhere for training and daycare GO HERE! They don’t give up and they really care about your pup! Don’t even look at other places they are not even good. If you want the best Future k9 is the place! I am forever grateful for their help with Harley and even invites her to daycare. Thank you Josette and her team for all the help and care you give to Harley.
Josette is absolutely wonderful with our 3 year old Golden. We got Hank when he was 15 months old with some very bad habits and behavior. After his two week boot camp he was so much better and could go off leash in most situations. Josette is a great trainer and Hank loves to stay with her and all his dog buddies! I would highly recommend Josette and Future K9 for training, boarding or day care.
For ten years, I hesitated every going away or doing anything that involved leaving my dogs. Thanks to future k9 I don’t think twice about booking a trip! They are so flexible and good to our dogs! I know they are safe and taken care of. The best!
Thanks to the team @ Future K9 for their excellent care of our little guy. We’re grateful we found you & Storybook Vet Hospital! It’s evident you clearly love what you do!
Josette and her team are amazing! We rescued Leo and quickly found out he was reactive and will bite when he gets overwhelmed. We could not take him anywhere with fear he would bite someone. Her training has completely changed him. Leo now has structure in his life and is well behaved. We can take him with us anywhere and is a very sweet boy!!
Josette and her team of trainers are amazing. Our Great Dane pup came back from training totally new and amazing. Have boarded our older pup many times. Will continue to recommend them for training and boarding to all of my friends and family.
My fiancé and I adopted a pup awhile back and soon after we adopted her we realized we had our hands full. I was referred to Josette by a friend and I’m so glad we decided to use her. We ended up doing a board and train and when we got our dog back she was a completely different dog. She wasn’t perfect but we could actually live with her and enjoy her company where as before she was a nightmare and keeping us up all hours of the day. She is still a work in progress even a year and a half later but knowing I can reach out to Josette any time for questions or help with something brings me a lot of relief. I wouldn’t trust anyone else. We now board our pup there as well knowing everything is structured and she won’t lose all the effort we’ve put into her. Any future dog we adopt we will definitely be going to Josette for. Also her entire team is very sweet and knowledgeable and helpful! 10/10 recommend.
Couldn’t ask for better!! I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my dogs. Josette has taken our little jack russell from being extraordinarily dog aggressive and has given him the skills and commands to avoid situations where his aggression might be triggered. Just recently with his boarding she was able to allow him to safely be out with another dog outside of his housemate! She has also taken our highly anxious corgi mix and given him so much confidence. He is no longer anxious while in his kennel. We love Josette and trust her always with our pets. If you can continue to put the work in with your pets after training, she will give you the tools you need to have long term success.
My wife and I were nervous about leaving our 2 dogs anywhere while on a weekend trip. 4 year old Shepard and 10 year old Sheltie. Our Sheltie has bad arthritis so the concern was mainly with him. All of our concerns were addressed upon arrival. Josette couldn’t have been more understanding. While we were on our trip, she sent us a video of the Shepard playing with the other dogs having a ball! He kept going back to check on the small dog who was laying down watching as he was playing with the big dogs. We couldn’t be happier with the attention to detail and knowledge of Josette and her staff. 10 stars if I could. Thank you. We will be back.
My dog went to daycare once a week for 9 years, until he passed away. He always was so happy and had so much fun playing and interacting with the other dogs. Also, when we went on vacation, he stayed there. Greatful dog, It is not only a day care, but every dog becomes part of the beautiful and loving family that Bill and Joanne have.
Came to inquire re: services for my very well bred and well behaved dog. The male owner was extremely rude to me throughout the brief conversation and asked how I found out about them. I replied I found them on the internet. He then argued with me saying they were not on the internet and practically slammed the door in my face. Would never trust my sweet dog to the care of people who act that way.
Amazing people! Treat your dog as if he/she were their own. So grateful :) for them and their care of our pupsters, past and present.
Best day care and boarding, mostly for larger dogs. Not cheap, but best I've seen. Not typical day care place and usually only by referral. Doesn't advertise.
Amazing place to take your dog! Great outdoor and indoor spaces, fantastic owners.
The best place you can take your dog, the staff and owners a great.
Great place with great people! Our dog loves going!
Fabulous daycare for dogs!!!!!!
We’ve been trusting Lauryn and her family with our dog, Bella, for the past few years, and they’ve been nothing short of wonderful. Lauryn and Dave are incredibly organized and attentive, and their dog Charlie is super fun and gives Bella the activity that she would lack if she were left home alone. Together, they make Bella feel completely at home, and we always feel confident that she’s well cared for. It’s a huge relief to know she’s in such good hands whenever we need a sitter. Highly recommend them for anyone seeking a loving and reliable dog-sitting service!
We have never left our sweet Harley with anyone that she truly didn't now. Lauryn made the experience seamless and easy! She visited for a meet and greet prior to us leaving for a long weekend away and was comforted by her acknowledging our worries and set us at ease. She came for three visits throughout the day, feeding, walking and provided lots of playtime and snuggles. She communicated and sent pictures with each visit, I highly recommend A step Above and Beyond, LLC for your pet care needs. She also has additional pet care services if needed, check out her website. Thank you Lauryn for giving my family and I peace of mind while away!
Lauryn took exceptional care of our two cats- taking extra care to make sure they were safe, comfortable, and happy. She went out of her way to return one day when one cat was being fussy and not eating, and also wanted to check in on them (and the house) during bad weather. There was great communication with Lauryn before, during, and after her time taking care of our pets. We really enjoyed the daily photos/videos and regular updates. She clearly has a great amount of experience and love for animals (she gave a lot of individual attention to each cat). The best thing about Lauryn’s service was the peace of mind that we enjoyed knowing that they were being expertly taken care of while we were away. We look forward to using her services again in the future and highly recommend her!
Lauryn went above and beyond to provide my young dog with a fun-filled day. She even sent regular updates to let me know how things were going. Highly recommended!
Lauryn did a great job caring for our two cats while we traveled. She sent pictures, was responsive about food and supplies, and gave our kitties love and attention. When we had concerns about the programming of our automatic cat feeder, she even made an extra trip to check on them around the holidays. I’d highly recommend Lauryn. She’s great!
We took our 15 month old Shihtzu to stay a day and overnight with Lauryn. He was a pampered pup! Lauryn took him for walks on his leash, he played in her fenced in back yard with her dog, and he met some of her dog’s friends down the street! Lauryn took pictures and videos of our pup’s adventures and texted them to us while we were away. Lauryn’s communication is excellent. We met with Lauryn and her dog the week before and I was so impressed with her love of animals. Lauryn treated our pup like he was her own. I would definitely recommend Lauryn’s pet care service and we will be visiting again!
We would highly recommend Lauryn as a pet sitter! She was referred to us by friends whose family has enjoyed and valued her services. She didn’t disappoint. We have two small dogs. When she came, one was 9 and was being treated for an eye abrasion and needed eye drops three times per day and the other was 7 months who had just gone into heat! I was concerned as I was afraid that one wouldn’t cooperate with a stranger to put in eye drops and that I had never had a dog in heat in my life and neither had Lauryn. It worked out so well. Lauryn sent us pictures and an update every morning and answered each time we contacted her. She had Sylvester under control and spent time with them every visit! We were so relieved and so comfortable after the first day! Our last experience (pre Covid) with another sitter put us on edge and we only had one dog then, so this experience was just the opposite! The dogs were relaxed and comfortable with her and so were we. I hope we never lose Lauryn as our sitter! Joan Spencer
Lauryn and Dave watched our Golden Retriever overnight and it was an outstanding experience! We received photos throughout her stay and it was evident that Lauryn is an animal lover- she even brushed our dog! I highly recommend Lauryn and Dave; they cared for our dog as if she were a member of their family.
We were very pleased with the services Lauryn provided for our 2 guinea pigs Rover and Sparky. We did a meet and greet prior to dropping them off. Her house is very tidy and clean. Felt she was very thorough and had us complete a sheet for how to care for them while we were gone. She took the time to send us daily photo updates and gave the pigs lots of extra cuddles while we were away. She kept the cage clean and provided them with daily treats and food. She also had a special spot for them ready to go when I dropped them off. She provides various payment methods as well. I would highly recommend her services.
Bubba has Idiopathic Epilepsy and it's been hard for us to leave him due to his condition. Most boarding facilities do not accept special needs dogs. Also finding a dog sitter that has experience and we can fully trust was also a challenge. Then I stumbled upon Pet Care by A Step Above and Beyond and quickly inquired. I received a quick response from Lauryn and she asked unbiased and necessary questions about our dog so she can better judge if they can take him in. Bubba is also a rescue so we weren't really comfortable bringing him into a kennel since the environment will bring him stress. Finding out that A Step Above and Beyond is an in-home pet care gave us the peace of mind we were looking for for a pet boarding facility. Lauryn is so kind, professional, and knowledgeable with pet care. She and her husband welcomed our Bubba into their home and took excellent care of him. They communicated well with us in terms of if Bubba has a seizure and they went above and beyond to meet our requests. Lauryn never missed a day to update me with photos and videos which every furparent will appreciate. Bubba's stay was so amazing he did not wanna leave the couch when we picked him up. We highly recommend A Step Above and Beyond! ❤️
I highly recommend Rochester NY Dogs for all of your dog training needs! Charlotte is a Weimaraner / Pitt mix. She is the sweetest dog, but wasn’t always the best listener. We hired Mike from Rochester NY Dogs to train Charlotte as a service dog for our developmentally disabled daughter. Thanks to him our rambunctious, high energy pup now knows all of the basic commands & MUCH more! I honestly thought she couldn’t be trained (I’ve had many dogs over the years and was able to train all but her myself! She was a stubborn one!) He works miracles. We fondly call him the “dog whisperer” because it’s amazing how fast he can get difficult dogs to listen to his every command! Mike is also fantastic at connecting with neurodivergent kiddos - which makes the training sessions go so smoothly! If you’re looking for a trainer - look no further! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Mike was very professional and attentive when it came to communicating. While on my week and a half vacation Mike sent photos and video of my 12 year old American Eskimo. He treated him as if he was one of his own. Milo has some health issues and Mike made me feel very comfortable knowing he was in good hands. When we picked up Milo I honestly don’t think Milo was to come home with us, that’s how much he loved Mike. Anytime I go away for a long period of time I will definitely make the 2 hour drive to have Mike watch my pup. Highly recommend!!!
Within hours of finding him, Mike reached out to me and was able to watch my dog the very next day. My dog, Bear, is a handful and has some severe separation anxiety, but Mike updated me regularly and worked great with Bear to build his confidence and make him comfortable. Mike's experience as trainer for so may years really made me feel comfortable that he could handle anything! I will most certainly be using Mike's services again!
Found Michael on line when looking for a pet sitter, which was coming up fast! Mike was very flexible and prices extremely reasonable. We left our anxious 5 yr old German Shepard rescue on Saturday and came back on Friday to more confident, happy dog. Nevada enjoyed playing with the other dogs, is more relaxed and hides less in her safe corner. Before we left she would run from the room when the TV was on, last night she stayed with us for hours! Will be calling Mike again and can say with confidence you will love your experience too. Thank you Mike!!
Mike helped us with our adopted, rescue 8 month old American Bully and we are extremely grateful for all of his knowledge and experience and help. Before we met with Mike, our 45lbs pup had no socializing, no pup training, didn't know basic command, come, sit, stay, his hind legs were very weak. After Mike worked with him he now understands basic commands, goes up and down stairs, socialize with others, walks without pulling, he's becoming very energetic guy. I would and have recommended Mike service to others..
Michael is a phenomenal trainer. He knows dogs inside and out and I don’t think he’s met a dog yet that he couldn’t train, including dogs that other trainers gave up on. Our GSD, Tori, has an excellent 3 week board and train. Michael’s follow up sessions for training the humans were targeted and informative. I thought I knew dogs well, and I learned so much. Highly recommended!!
We found Michael through google after looking all over the place for someone who could come to the house and assist us in training our dogs who are in pretty different stages. We have a 7 year old dog who needed a refresher in some of the basics as well as helping me to make our walks fun again as she has gotten more leash-reactive as the years have gone on. We also have a 6 month old puppy who needed the basics. I knew that no class was going to give me the training for both dogs at the same time and my and my partner's schedules are both pretty busy. Our experience with Michael was an absolute pleasure, he was quick to respond, professional and able to fit us right in. We did the 5 class package with him, which has worked out beautifully. We both loved his style of training as he ensures to explain the reasoning behind his techniques and behavioral interventions, which really helped with understanding the greater concept and how to apply it across a variety of behaviors. He always made himself available to answer any questions we had between sessions and our dogs were absolutely exhausted after every session (which was an added bonus). His pricing is fantastic for any in-home dog trainer based on the research that I did into other trainers in the area, especially for 2 dogs. I would recommend Michael to anyone looking for help with training their dog and will definitely be keeping him in mind for if we have more dog training or boarding needs in the future.
We adopted a dog recently and found out she had some separation anxiety, and since we live in an apartment we couldn’t have constant barking while we were gone. I found this out the second day we had her, and Mike got us in 2 days later! Due to the pandemic, we were not eager to meet in person, so he was able to coach us via Skype. We have had a couple sessions so far and she now only barks for a couple minutes and settles herself in. His help was greatly appreciated!!! Highly recommend Mike!
We started puppy training with Mike the day after we got our 9 week old chocolate lab puppy, Diesel. We were nervous first time dog owners and Mike did a great job to make us feel comfortable in training our new puppy! Mike gave us the tools, confidence, and support to ensure Diesel was a well trained dog! Thank you Mike! -Kalin and Derek
Mike is an excellent dog trainer in the Rochester area who I can readily recommend without reservation. He has worked closely with my Shiba Inu puppy since I brought her home from the breeder and has expertly guided me through crate training, teething, basic obedience, and socialization training. He is extremely knowledgable, accomodating, friendly, and patient with dog owners of all experience levels.
I am so grateful for the services (physical therapy, boarding and rehabilitation) that Theravet has provided for my little guy Tyler Rex. They have been there for him-- before and after his ccl surgery. He is healthier and happier than he has ever been. So pleased with the services and fortunate they are located so close to me. Merry Christmas Theravet--Tyler Rex sends hugs!!
**Google Review for Thera-Vet Acres** ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is our second experience seeking therapy from Dr. Browne at Thera-Vet Acres, and we couldn’t be happier with the care our dog, Lucy, has received. Lucy was diagnosed with a rare congenital condition that will progressively worsen without regular treatment, so we’ve been coming in for electro-acupuncture since July and have recently added other modalities. Dr. Browne and the entire Thera-Vet staff have been absolutely amazing! They’ve shown incredible patience and understanding, especially when working with our very wiggly dog. It’s clear they truly care about their patients. We are so grateful to have access to such excellent care for Lucy. Thank you, Thera-Vet Acres, for everything you do!
My 5 year old Rottie has been doing weekly PT in preparation for knee surgery. From reception, to doctors, to all the techs, Theravet has been a great experience. My dogs are my family and I feel that we are in very good hands with this team supporting us. My only opinion for improvement is name tags 😅 I can't remember names for the life of me and I always forget who we are working with as it does change with every appointment. But that's a me thing. I highly recommend this location for physical therapy. We have not yet used other services offered.
We only rented a paddock for our sighthound group play date, but it was lovely and the dogs enjoyed it!
Polaris goes here weekly for day play and LOVES it. They have big outdoor play pens and are very careful to keep play groups small and appropriately matched. The staff are well trained in dog behavior and he LOVES them. We've also used them for boarding. Love them!
Could not wish for a place that shows more care for our dog. Fantastic people with big hearts and great attitudes. Always willing to answer your questions and offer guidance. You can always tell that they don't just care for our dog... they care ABOUT our dog.
We love Theravet! Our Akita has done his post-surgery boarding and continued rehab at TVA for two TPLO surgeries and he absolutely loves it there. The staff is excellent and they care so much — and know so much — about the individual dogs they are working with, and our dog trusts them all so much and is able to truly relax even when doing things that must seem so "weird" to him. Doing therapy has given us the opportunity to have experts involved in his care and ensure that he has the best chance of recovering without aggravating other joints and having future injury risk or arthritis. The reports are thorough and they are very attuned to nuances of muscle mass, muscle spasms, and compensatory injury potential. Thanks to Brittany and Jaime for helping coordinate all of our boarding needs, and Micaela, Sarah, Izzy, Savannah, and all of the other therapy staff for treating our dog truly like he is their own. Also a big thank you to Dr Browne for helping us post surgery with interpreting xrays when our surgeon was unavailable. We are so grateful to have TVA in Rochester and will be customers for a lifetime to come!
I've been bringing my pup here for a couple years now for her physical therapy needs. I've built the absolute best relationship with her care takers there. This past weekend, I needed boarding for the first time and I just felt so comfotable doing so! They asked me many questions at the get go to ensure they got Coco's daily routine set in stone, they sent me photos via email the evening of to show me how well Coco was doing, and they were just so very caring and understanding. I love this place and am happy to have Coco continue to come here for the rest of her days!
This is a great bunch of people! They are knowledgeable, professional, caring people who make notable impact on their patients. They helped support and teach us after Bandits Surgery.
Our experience with Theravet is with dog boarding and we love it! This is a group of very caring and knowledgeable people who have treated our dogs (past and present) royally. We are very comfortable leaving our beloved "buddy" there and recommend this establishment wholeheartedly.
We took our Great Pyrenees here for a nail trim and we loved it so much we took him back for a grooming. Shelia was so kind and you can tell she loves dogs. It was affordable and our dog looks & feels great! 10/10 recommend!
I just picked up my two Yorkies who stayed there for 8 days AND were groomed. The staff was very attentive to our requests and our little ones looked great and seemed content. I am very fussy about where my babies are left ( I took a pre-stay tour) They even washed their bedding that I had brought. I wouldn’t hesitate to call them again should the need arise.
I asked for an appointment for grooming and got a call back right away. Sheila was awesome and groomed my dog very professionally. I would definitely recommend to anyone.
Andy and the rest of the team are so great to our little dog Mimi. We have been going here for about 3yrs now and by far this is our favorite Kennel. We drive from Canandaigua because they are the best. If you are looking for a Kennel give these guys a try I think you will agree.
It was the first time for my dog being border and for 10 days at that. Thought she would be a wreck when we picked her up. But to my surprise she was very happy and clean. Very good experience. Will definitely use the again. Thanks to tail waggers and staff.
Shelia and Andy are fantastic!! Our pup loves to go for grooming and boarding. I highly recommend both!
I park next to this business to access the land behind it. The owner hit my truck with his four wheeler and left no note, he was hopping I would not see the damage. When I confronted him an hour later he told me to make a claim on my own insurance. He obviously has poor morals and terrible decision making.
We board our dogs here as well as have them groomed here. When the dogs get excited when you pull in, you know it's a good place for them!
Sheila is the best groomer. My pups love her and I can tell she truly loves them too!
Took my American Eskimo here for the first time. Sheila did an amazing job. I definitely will be going back!
I have a geriatric dog & new pup, using OTM was so easy & I really had a relaxing time away. Very professional & hands on with my old Boston terrier. He actually seems better today!
OTM did a fantastic job managing our dog at our wedding through their "wedding concierge" services. Thank you so much, OTM!
Can’t say enough good things about onthemovepetcare. I use them for daily mid day walks for my dog while I work, each day they send me photos and updates on how the walk went. The walkers are all fantastic and their online platform makes it easy to schedule walks. Highly recommend using their services.
We have used OTM for several years and are always pleased with the care the team provides. More importantly, our pets are happy, healthy, and calm when we return whether it be a single day or a week long trip. Our recent caregiver Kathryn did a great job with our very anxious pup, who sometimes won't warm up to new faces. The staff overall is highly responsive, and the company is tech-enabled so you receive real-time updates during the care of your pets. Highly recommend their services.
OTM Pet Care has been such a phenomenal and professional service from the start! They all care so much about these pets and it truly shows. I feel so comfortable leaving my dog for the day knowing that Laura will take excellent care of him while I’m at work! Even when I’m having a busy day, my highlight is getting a quick message about how Barney’s walk went. I recommend this service to everyone and feel so lucky to be able to rely on them for quality pet care!
We are so grateful for On the Move Pet Care! Our walker, Kathryn has been with our puppy from the very beginning. She is attentive, kind and fun. She puts in extra time and energy to make sure our puppy is taken care of. She’s been a major part of our training process and has helped us with training tips and tricks that have been so helpful! The photo and video updates give us peace of mind while we are at work. OTM has always been flexible with our changing schedules and considerate of our needs. We highly recommend Kathryn and On the Move!
I have been using On the Move for daily dog walking for 3 years now and I love their convenience and reliability. They will even come weekends, holidays and nights when needed. Kathryn is great! I can tell she loves my dogs and treats them like her own. I get photos of the dogs on their walk daily. When I got stuck at work late on a holiday, Kathryn went right over and walked the dogs and fed them dinner so I didn’t have to worry about them. 10/10 would recommend
I have used On the Move several times and trust their pet care providers. The booking process is simple and every caregiver has been kind, attentive and willing to deal with my dogs' particular needs. The immediate communication via text or email is great - you know exactly when your pet has been seen and how the are doing.
I have been using OTM pet care for a few years. Paula is always very responsive to my requests and concerns. All of the pet sitters have been wonderful. I am especially thankful for the patience and compassion the dog walkers always show towards my occasionally wary rescue dog. Jo Ann (aka Allie) has been so great with him and I can go to work with peace of mind knowing that his friend will visit him during the day.
OnTheMove is excellent! We have been using their pet-sitting services for about 5 years when we travel out of town. They are reliable, responsive, and flexible. The pet sitters are friendly, they take good care of our two kitties, and they always provide updates of what they did during their visits in the OTM TimeToPet App (for example: refreshed water bowl, fed the cats, scooped the litter, played for a while, brought in the mail). They also send pictures of the cats through the app, which is reassuring and fun! Even though our wonderful neighbors have offered to care for our cats, we continue to choose OnTheMove Pet Care every time! I recommend them without any reservation - OnTheMove is outstanding!
Our 7 year old Australian Terrier, Little Lily, is new to the practice as we have just moved back to the area. Our first visit with Dr Christman and her Vet Tech was assuring to me we picked the right practice for our fur baby! They took their time with Lily when meeting, gaining her trust before the exam even started. Lily felt comfortable and relaxed which decreased my anxiety about getting Lily settled in with a good practice. Thank you Dr. Christman! You guys made Lily’s first experience with you easy breezy :)
So far very pleased with the hospital. This was my first visit, as we recently moved back after 20 years in FL. I brought in one of my cats so that I can order their prescription food. That was easy to do on line. I will be back in April for both cats annual exams and vaccines so it will be easier to give a more detailed opinion. I don't have any reason to expect any issues. I was referred by a friend.
I have been going to Clark Animal Care Center since 1985 at their original (on 286) and now the new location (on 250). The previous owner was good, the new management is a larger group I believe, owning multiple locations. They have always had some really great Vets and Technicians over those 40 years. My latest visit was with Dr. Benedetti, Jordan, and Kristen, they were thorough and very kind to my senior dog. The cost was high, yet that is todays reality. My only real criticism is their website, it is very difficult to book an appointment unless it is many months out.
Clark Animal Care Center is outstanding! The entire team of professionals are always kind, courteous, patient and helpful. Dr. Christman has a passion for animals that shines through in each interaction she has had with our dog. We appreciate the knowledge and love that the Center always provides!
I have brought two of my animals to Clark Animal Care Center so far and I have been pleased with both experiences, starting with the reception staff. You can tell they are extremely busy answering phones and checking people out, but I was greeted as soon as I walked in and checked in right away. Both techs I dealt with were great and really listened to the concerns I had. Dr. Christman saw both of my pets and she was wonderful! I appreciate the thorough exam and taking the time to explain everything to me. My dog has a complicated medical history and she gave me all my options of how to move forward so he has the best care without being pushy on what I should do. There was some miscommunication with vaccines with my cat because I had just moved from Connecticut so he accidentally got a vaccine he didn't need. The technician took the time to talk with the doctor to make sure my cat was safe and they refunded the vaccine since it was something that they missed on their end when the history was sent over from my previous vet. So far I am happy with my experience and looking forward to working with them in the future to keep all my animals happy and healthy!
Dr. Benedetti, Amber, and all of the staff are personable, professional, and excellent at their work. We’ve been clients at Clark for several years and have always been very impressed and highly satisfied with their quality of service and care. We recommend them wholeheartedly.
The doctor spent some quality time with my cat and listened to all my concerns. She also took the time to educate me on health issues to look for as a new cat owner. My cat was treated with a lot of compassion and patience. I highly recommend this practice.
The team was amazing. We unfortunately had to put our dog down. The care that the team showed to us during this very difficult time was unmatched! I appreciate their understanding and thoughtfulness.
We just started here and love it so far! Everyone from the front end to the vet are so friendly! Our vet is so knowledgeable and helpful!
Very friendly staff and the building was very clean. Staff took their time with our dog and answered all of the questions we had. Definitely glad we switched to them!
