Spent a snowy winter in Portland - played pickleball, took dance classes and spent time reading, cooking and taking care of lovely pets for Frances and Stephen. Unfortunately their very elderly cat needed to be out down due to renal failure but Katie the younger gal adapted well and got my full attention. Would do this again if the opportunity arose. Was sad to leave.
This house is lovely and the dogs are really friendly and easygoing.I enjoyed the cuddles and the walks in nearby fields. They are obedient and well behaved dogs and it was a great time.
Lola is a very friendly cat from the first contact. I got to Lawrence's apartment when he was already gone but Lola welcomed me with curiosity and happiness. She's adorable! She's also very active and moves super fast! Lola can wake up early because Lawrence is an early bird, but she can also get used to waking up a bit later if the sitter trains her, like I did. Her way of showing love is by giving very soft bites. I was scared at first but after doing some research I found out it's their way of playing and showing affection, so I let her do it and she never hurt me, so she can control her moves very well. I got to meet Lawrence in person shortly between his trips and he's also very friendly. I gave him some feedback about the apartment´s organization and the welcome guide, and he took it in a very nice way as well. He even got Netflix for me! Thank you! The internet connection worked without any issues in the apartment. I worked there during those 2 weeks. I could not connect my laptop to the screens available, so ask Lawrence in advance what cables you will need. To go downtown will take you about 30 minutes from the moment you leave the apartment (bus + train). If you prefer to walk, the closest train station is 20 min away. There's a big Rewe behind the building open until midnight, so that was super practical. I'd happily go back to sit Lola again!
This is a truly wonderful sit. Louisa & Paul's home is a superb, exceptionally high quality conversion of a stables that has a fabulous flow. It is exquisitely furnished & decorated, a celebration of comfort, colour & art. It's worth spending time in a different seat each day to really enjoy & appreciate it all. But first & foremost this is a welcoming & embracing home, which is a very clever achievement, balancing an exciting & eclectic art collection with homeliness. In addition it is light, bright & warm. It really is a wonderful place to be. And then, to the most important works of art - Gus & Cassie. They are fabulous cats & perfect companions. Cassie, an older lady, pretends to be exasperated with younger Gus's antics, but I think secretly it gives her a joie de vivre & keeps her ageless. Seeing her leap up on one of the garden walls tells you she needs no protection from the young whipper snapper, who really just wants to play. She is a real sweetie & loves a cuddle & a lap... until she doesn't - she never hurts you, but let's you know. Gus is hilarious, often resting upside down on his head with him bum up under your chin in preference to your lap, especially if you're rubbing his head. He will not only tolerate any kind of fuss & cuddle, he will revel in it. Mornings opening up the laundry room where they sleep he will give you head rubs from his perch on the worktop that will melt your heart - don't miss that precious part of the day. He also joins you up at the top of the garden, sitting with you on the lovely Lutyens bench, surveying his Kingdom, leaning into your side enjoying an al fresco cuddle. Speaking of the garden, take a cup of tea the top of the garden around midday & sit in the sun with Gus, enjoying a panoramic view over the roof top, a lovely view of the neighbouring church, wrapped in birdsong & the church bells soft time chimes. Red kites will swoop so low overhead you'll feel like you could reach out & touch them, just stunning. Breakfast out the front in the early sun, there's perfect spots for every time of day. I can't speak much about the locality as I didn't venture much, but the village is lovely & Oxford is a must, but use the park & ride if you drive. Louisa was superbly organised, very responsive to messages while away & a really lovely person to communicate with. The Guide was fantastic. I hope to return & would gladly do so if only to be with Cassie & Gus. Thank you so much for choosing me Louisa & Paul. I can't say enough how richly blessed I felt for my stay.
Aili is the bomb! If I could give this sit more than five stars I certainly would. Aili is very kind, obliging, and her communication was great! I got a chance to meet the entire crew — Murphy, Dandy, + Buddy but only watched Buddy during this sit; the entire gang is so friendly, lovable and well mannered tho. Buddy loves to snuggle, go for walks and just be near you. As soon as I arrived Aili + her CKCS made me feel comfortable & right at home. There are lots of restaurants, grocery stores, + other amenities to explore within a few minutes from Aili's home. The home itself is stunning + spacious in a very beautiful, quiet neighborhood in Fairfield. You do not want to miss this sit!
I positively adored sitting for Vanessa! Her cat — Noche — is one of my absolute favorite kitties of all time in seven years of house-sitting; he exudes all of the silliness and spunk of a kitten, combined with incredible sweetness. I would often wake up to find him nestled directly against me — so precious! Her gorgeous apartment is super-conveniently located at 20th Street and Valencia in the heart of the Mission District. Vanessa herself is very friendly, easygoing, and helpful — offering clear, simple instructions through both the welcome guide and a walkthrough during the meet and greet. Our dog Murphy loves Priscilla and we are always confident he is being well cared for when he is with her. Priscilla took amazing care of our Golden Remi and his brother Cooper in September during a much needed break and again a month later for Remi. Priscilla was great! She graciously came by our house 2x daily to feed and check on our 2 cats when we had a last minute opportunity to go out of town for the weekend. We literally asked her to cat sit only 2d prior to the time we needed her, and it was over a holiday weekend, which was so unexpected, but wonderful. The cats were happy to see her, she sent photos daily, alerted us as to when she entered the house, and gave updates on every visit. Priscilla is *so* wonderful with my 10 year old bulldog mix! She is extremely reliable, and always does sweet things likes sends a picture or video of him doing fun things on their outings. Last time when I was still home and she came over - he literally ran to her!! When I first met Priscilla I had a great feeling about her & my intuition never steers me wrong, she is a great caregiver, reliable & trustworthy.
The best recommendation is from a dog who visits Fetch. Fern, a beautiful Boston Terrier, loves Fetch. When she walks through the front door she is immediately greeted by name by owners and staff. Fern cannot wait to see her friends! After morning play, Fern gets a lunch snack and then it's time for a nap. Afternoon activities might include splashing in the pool when the weather is hot. At the end of her visit, Fern bids goodbye to her friends and the staff. She's happy after her day at Fetch.
Fetch is a great day care and boarding option for us. Kathy (the owner) knows and loves dogs, and purposely limits the number of dogs she’ll take, so it doesn’t get overcrowded and all dogs get good attention. We find her pricing reasonable and have been very happy for the 2+ years we’ve been going there. Yay for Fetch!
Our dogs have left very happy each time we have boarded with Fetch. They even sent us pictures of our dogs while we were away.
Fetch is a well staffed, well maintained dog boarding and day care facility. I could tell the staff really cared for each dog which says a lot. I went there to check it out for my own dogs, but because of my poodle's issues, it was not the right fit. But I would still def recommend Fetch!
The staff at Fetch are amazing! They truly care about each dog & get to know their individual personality. My active 8 month old Golden Doodle gets so excited when we enter the parking lot & has learned valuable lessons that only dog interaction can teach. The pets are well supervised & the facility is extremely clean. Each day when I pick him up he is well behaved after having an active day of exercise with his many friends. The friendly staff are welcoming & well educated in dog care & behavior. I highly recommend Fetch to any dog owner!
Took in my dog for an “interview” before I was able to book. I understand that process, but I would’ve thought it was more so for the pet owner to look around the facility and such. No, I took my dog in and after 5 minutes I was told that we wouldn’t be a good fit for her. She said my dog was too anxious (which I truly do understand, but you can’t make that opinion after just 5 minutes) and by the time we were about to leave she was going around exploring, sniffing the toy box, and seemed to start getting used to the atmosphere. But I was told by the owner that she was in “escape mode” and was “not a good fit” so she wouldn’t take us in. Was also told that the owner herself wouldn’t be there this weekend and she couldn’t leave her employee to handle my dog all by herself, she said she just couldn’t do that to her employee. I truly do understand the fact that some dogs may not be a good fit, but you can’t make that assumption after just 5 minutes. Any dog would be weary of a new environment. The young employee with glasses was exceptionally friendly and apologetic. The owner on the other hand, was very rude and did not give off a caring persona, so much so that I wouldn’t want my dog to be under her care anyway. Again, I truly understand some dogs may not work out, but you can’t possibly tell that by just 5 minutes. Have them come in for a day and see how they do, let them get used to the place. Don’t tell customers that you wouldn’t be a “good fit” after just 5 minutes of meeting with them. Thank you to the employee who was super friendly and welcoming though.
My boy Leo has been boarded here multiple times and always comes home happy. Cathy and the team at Fetch have a great space and provide a wonderful structure for the dogs in their care. Pricing is also very reasonable. I also love how I’m able to make reservations online. I truly this facility to take the best care of my sweet boy.
I have been bringing Gracie here for two years and she loves it! She is sometimes so tired after playing all day that I have to pick her up early. The dogs even have nap time - which is outstanding. Gracie knows where she is going and gets excited right when we get off the interstate. I appreciate that Cathy and team limit the number of dogs and give them lots of attention, which many daycare spots do not. She keeps me posted on how Gracie is doing since she is still a young dog so we can work on behavior at home. This is just a great location!
I personally think this is one of the best doggie daycare centers out there. The reason I say this is for a multitude of reasons. The very first one is that she limits the number of dogs that come in here. I think it makes the experience more personal. It gives the dogs a lot more attention and a lot more one on one with the handlers. Another reason, is that this is not one of those places where your dog just sits inside in a run or in a crate all day. Every dog gets to play outside and everyone (dog) leaves here at the end of the day, happy and tired and I think that's what doggie daycare should be all about. She's got an excellent and very clean facility. Kathy herself is very knowledgeable having worked with dogs for the last four decades. THE WOMAN DEFINITELY KNOWS WHAT SHE'S TALKING ABOUT. I myself bring my dog Penny here and as soon as we pull into the drive, she can't wait to get out of the car to come in and play. I would never in a million years bring my dog anywhere but here, that's the reason for my five-star review. If I could give two paws up as well I would do that too!!!
My dog Charlie has been going to this daycare forever and he can’t wait to get in the door. The owner Cathy and helper Michelle are the very best. They care about all their dogs. So caring and helpful for any of the moms and dads. Can’t go wrong leaving your favorite dog here for daycare or boarding!
I cannot say enough positive things about Romeo's Doghouse. The owner and staff is always professional and friendly and you can tell they love and adore the pets that are entrusted to their care. I had a situation where my sweet dog had an injury and had to wear a cone and was put on medications. She allowed my pup to stay with her even with the extra needs so that I could go to my daughter's wedding out of state. She did not hesitate at all and I will always be grateful to her for that. The setup they have for the dogs in their care and the environment they have is safe, fun and very well managed. She does an excellent job of keeping us posted on how our little boy is doing and she sends updates of pictures to show all of the fun activities that our pup gets to enjoy. She and the staff truly go above and beyond all expectations. I trust the staff of Romeo's Doghouse and I highly recommend them! Thank you!
It has been. while since I wrote my last review. I took an 8 day vacation leaving my son Travis (Golden Retriever) and daughter Daphne (mix) with Tracy the best person in world to take care of your four legged family, along with her crew. I have known Tracy since approx. 2015 when I first started bringing Travis and Daphne there when I lived in Hendersonville. I now live in Rutherfordton and I still bring them up to Tracy. I wouldn't leave them with anyone else. Her setup of open playground for all of the dogs and what a playground it is and, If it is bad weather, then their playground is in her double car garage. My little Daphne when we pull up she starts barking in my vehicle trying to get out.Travis he is my old man, he knows we are there as soon as I pull into the driveway and wants the window down to put his head out to smell the smells.. There is no other puppy dog day care or doggy vacation for your four legged family to stay or for however long you need to be away, they will happy to see you, but they will always be happy to go back to Romeo's Doghouse!!
Tracy is amazing. I knew there had to be an alternative to dog boarding. I wanted my dog to be on vacation too and live in someone’s home. Kevin, our dog, LOVES coming to visit Tracy. She keeps the pups in her home and has an amazing fenced in area. The dogs play together, supervised at all times, for much of the day. Tracy send dozens of pictures everyday as well, so you get to see the fun they are having. She even kept our pup when he was injured and having to take it easy. She just kept him on the play schedule with the older, less active dogs. She willingly gave him his medicine as well. I am so happy I found Tracy. I can now go on trips with no worry for my pup. Our dog gets more excited to go on vacation than we do!
My dogs love coming to stay at Tracy's house when we go out of town. She has been great to work with and very accommodating even when we've had to schedule boarding last minute. Tracy sends us tons of photos at the end of everyday, which is our favorite thing. It's great to see that our dogs are having so much fun playing all day, and it makes leaving them much easier!

My spaniel has been going to stay at Romeo’s for almost 4 years now! It feels like I am leaving him with family. And I know he gets treated as such. Great options for play no matter the weather. Impeccable communication regarding updates on your dog. You get to see your dog having fun in images! He’s probably stayed 10-15 times and we have had zero issues.
Tracy is AWESOME with our fur baby! We have been taking her for play days since we adopted her. On our first visit Tracy had us do a meet and greet which was perfect. We weren’t sure how our dog would do and she had a blast! The play yard is AMAZING! Romeo’s Doghouse is the only place we would trust to care for our dog.
Romeo’s Dog House is awesome! My Hershey can’t wait to go and hates to leave!!! Tracy, Stacy and Mary are so good with the dogs. I never have to worry about him when I leave him there. I know he is well taken care of! The place is clean, staff is very friendly, and lots of stuff for the dogs to play with. They all have a love for animals and it shows! Our pup loves going to Romeo's and we feel very safe leaving her there. She has had quite a few week long stays with Tracy as well as going for a play day in doggie day care every other week. Tracy is wonderful! We wouldn't leave our little girl anywhere else.
When we got our new little puppy Sofie two and a half years ago we were looking for somewhere to take her during the day while we worked and a friend had recommended Romeos Dog House so we gave Tracy a call! I can tell you one thing she and Stacy are amazing! Our girl jumps herself out of the truck every morning ready to go play! I would recommend 100% to anyone looking for someone to love their babies as much as you do!! They are truly amazing!

April did an excellent job pet sitting my cats while I was out of town. She came for an initial get to know you meeting, then she came twice daily to visit while I was gone. I was nervous because I have recently relocated to the area and left behind the pet sitter I have used for 15 years. She quickly put me at ease and gave me frequent updates while I was gone. I will definitely use Whiskers and Wags again!
April is amazing! Ivy loves going to her home and I know she is treated well there. April is flexible, easy to communicate with and loves her animals.
WONDERFUL CARING AND ATTENTIVE April is amazingly responsive. And Jordan allows us go on trips with total peace of mind about our kitties. We have an almost 18 year old, a 6 year old with frequent stress induced cystitis, and a 1 year old. Jordan truly cares about their wellbeing and happiness. She also cares about our peace of mind and ability to enjoy our time away. Simba, the 6 year old, has had cystitis two times we took a trip; Jordan spent extra time caring for him, kept us well informed, and even came to our house early just to make sure he was well cared for. And she offered to make a special free trip to check on everyone if we weren't to be home by midday! She sends pictures and updates while we are away. And she sent a message seeing how our babies were doing even after we were home and her job was done!! Our kitties seem to be very comfortable with her; i can tell by the pictures as they are eating and sleepy in their usual places and look very happy. Previous pet sitters, who were definitely not terrible, always said they would not eat in their usual places. I know this is a sign that our kitties are very much at peace with Jordan!!! My husband and i love our Kitties deeply, we miss them when we are away; but because of Jordan's loving care, we are able to enjoy our vacations with total confidence our babies are being taken care of with love. I'm so glad we found Whiskers and Wags.
Our dog Piper had begun having trouble at the kennel - she was getting sick and was not herself when we’d pick her up. We are so happy we found April and Jordan! Our dog Charlie seems to really love his time at Paws in Motion! We've been taking him there for a few years now. I know he is very well cared-for and loved while with Tina and Matt. It makes us so happy to know he's hanging with them and a few other dogs during his stay. During one stay Charlie was continually biting himself in one area and Tina and Matt did a great job of keeping us in the loop on how he was doing and checking in re: medicine or treatment options. They are really on top of it!
This is far and away the best and only boarder that we use when traveling. Our extra-large dog has the best time and always returns content and exhausted!
I was going out of town for a little over a week and chose PIM to board my pup. I only ever spoke with Tina, but she was super friendly and I felt very comfortable letting my pup stay with them while I was away. They showed me where he would be sleeping and the backyard where he would be enjoying his outside time with the other dogs. For essentially the same price as a big boarding kennel, I felt like he would get a little more love and affection here and I definitely think he did during his stay. I will definitely be in touch with them for future stays if I need boarding!
My husband and I finally moved to Brevard full-time in May 2016. As we both love to travel, we were concerned about finding a reliable and responsible boarding situation for our high-energy Parson Russell terrier, Boo. We were so pleased and relieved when a neighbor highly recommended Paws in Motion. Boo has spent both extended (3-weeks+) and short weekend stays with Tina and Matt, who love and care for Boo like one of their own. Paws in Motion is the best daycare for your pups. Our dog Hobie wags his tail everytime we mention Tina's name!! I have known Matthew and Tina for almost 3 years now and know they are excellent at what they do. They truly care about the animals. My 3 labs have stayed with them several times, the longest being almost 10 days and I have no worries while I am gone. And Tina and Matt came to my house and showed me some training "tips". Our dogs are members of our family, and PIM has become their "extended family." They love Matt and Tina, and have a great time with their new furry cousins while we're gone. Never a moment's worry about them. I recommend Paws in Motion to anyone who has ever been anxious about putting their dogs in a kennel, or anyone who has ever had a bad experience with a petsitter. Paws in Motion will renew your faith in humanity.
We have used Paw Pleasers for many years. This is the first time with our new puppy Shelby. She stayed with Paw Pleasers for 5 days. She was well taken care of and enjoyed a new friend or two. They are still as good as when we used them with our other dog.
We have been so blessed to find Paw Pleasers. They have been so accommodating to our schedule. The dogs absolutely love going there. My wife and I feel like they get first class treatment. Unfortunately having a few health issues I’ve had to leave them several times on very short notice. Ever time we needed to leave Patrick was there and adjusted his schedule so we could drop off or picked up the dogs as needed. Constantly kept in contact with us. Updating us on their conditions along with pictures. I would absolutely give Paul pleasers five stars. Thank you, Patrick! Bill and Beverly.
First time for 6 month old mini Schnauzer and it was a great experience all around. Thanks. Abby will be back. Abby just enjoyed a week with you and falling asleep on her couch as I am on mine. Now Abby is 18 months old and still enjoying her time at your beautiful Paw Pleasers resort 🐶.
Of course we were concerned that our Pepper would be unhappy being away from home and we did not need to worry. She enjoyed her stay and is fine now being home with us. We are so grateful and we would look forward to another visit next year.
We have boarded our beloved peanut butter twice now at Paw Pleasers and both times have been absolutely phenomenal. Booking is as easy as pie, they are professional and live on site so you never have to worry about your pup, and the facilities and accommodations are beyond perfect. As dog lovers it’s important to us that our fuzzy kid has the most comfortable and easy transition and stay. At Paw Pleasers I never worry about Peanut Butters well being as I know he is deeply cared for. We are forever customers at Paw Pleasers and look forward to booking again soon in the near future. No other place does it better!

There are no words to really describe how much I value Horse Shoe Kennels and their amazing staff. I found this place about two years ago when I needed to find boarding for my GSD who was still intact (as you can imagine, this was tough). After one stay I knew this was the place! My dogs always come back happy and healthy. The staff is extremely friendly and care about the animals under their care. A week ago the worst happened. We were on the border of a 434 acre fire that took 2 of our neighbors homes and threatened 74 others. I decided to evacuate the dogs so they wouldn’t have to endure the smoke, and of course so I wouldn’t have to worry about losing them in the event I couldn’t get home in time from work to evacuate them if things got worse. I had the surprise of finding that someone had taken care of our boarding for our dogs (client or employee, I’m unsure). Horse Shoe Kennels helped accommodate this and I still am blown away by this strangers act of kindness. This was the greatest gift to know our dogs were safe when we couldn’t be home, especially knowing our friends lost all their pets in a fire earlier this year. Thank you Horse Shoe Kennels!
I trust the staff wholeheartedly with my furbaby. I have had some difficult rescues, but they have been able to work with them successfully. Never once has any of my dogs resisted going into the facility or with any one of the staff and management.

Our 9y/o cat stayed for 15 days while we were vacationing and came home a relaxed and happy boy. Horseshoe Farms is quiet, friendly and so clean. He was obviously well-cared for and well-fed. Definitely will return and 10/10 recommend.
We love horse shoe kennels! Maylin, Marlee & Chief have been here a few times and always look great and happy after their stay. This is the first time our new baby Oliver has gone and I feel 100 percent confident that he is going to be loved and cared for while we are gone. I am so thankful to have found this awesome boarding facility for my kiddos.
I boarded my two 9 year old cats here while visiting the area during a cross country move. I was nervous about boarding my cats in an unfamiliar town but I quickly felt at ease once I dropped them off. When I picked them up, I was able to go down to the cattery to get the ladies from their kennel. They were resting and seemed very relaxed. The cattery was quiet and clean. One of my ladies even fell asleep in her carrier when we got them to the car. They've never been this calm and relaxed after a stay at a boarding facility. I'm so happy I found Horse Shoe Kennels and so grateful for the care Kiki and Tiger received.
Love this place, and so does my dog. Highly recommended if you’re in the Hendersonville, Etowah, or Mills River areas. They do grooming as well.
I cannot say enough about the staff at this place. I lived in Asheville until the end of 2022 and now live almost 3 hours away, but when I have extended travels for work, I make the trip up the mountains because I know my boy is going to be taken care of by an awesome staff!
We moved to the area three years ago knowing nothing about local services. After looking at potential boarding facilities my wife and I decided to tour Horse Shoe Kennels. The owner gave us a personal tour. The facility was bright, roomy and clean. We have used Horse Shoe many times since. We are so happy that we are able to board our dog there. We have total confidence in the owner and staff since this is a well established family run business. They greet our dog by name. He has very little hesitation as he walks in for a “vacation”. We know that our dog is well cared for while he is in their care.

I’m enormously grateful to have found Blue Ridge Pet Sitters at a really chaotic time. I was new to town and needed to travel emergently. Meeting Aaron and feeling his professional yet laid-back, and compassionate vibe, immediately brought peace to my situation. I knew I could leave my worries behind. He went above and beyond the call of duty, imo, and his process and excellent communication provided enduring comfort while I was away. I certainly appreciated the care and attention he gave to my cats, and I equally appreciate that he anticipated unspoken needs regarding the animals and my home as well. Aaron was great with our girls. This was the first time for our puppy to have a sitter. She was very skittish with Aaron in the beginning. But he was so patient and empathetic with her, and I was so grateful for that. He finally won her over, and from there, they were happy when he came over and was there at night with them. This was my first time having a sitter in my home as well. I was nervous about having a stranger in my home, but Aaron was very respectful of our home. The constant pictures, videos and follow ups from Aaron showed me he cared about my girls and my concerns. I will definitely be using Aaron again. We are already planning some vacations now that we have someone reliable and trustworthy! Thanks so much for everything Aaron, we'll see you soon!
Aaron instantly established a bond with my (old, often grumpy) dog, and treated her and my cats as if they had been friends for years. He gave close attention to all of their needs and communicated with me, sending action-photos, regularly. He stayed at our house for 20 days and ALL was well upon our return. (Our dog usually gets sick when we leave, due to anxiety… not this time!) He is 100% professional. Highly recommended!

Aaron Preiser, owner of Blue Ridge Pet Sitters, LLC, is the most professional and reliable pet sitter I have worked with. He has helped me with my aged dog for the past 2 months. She trusted him immediately when she met him. He walks her daily for me when I am at work and sends me a text when he arrives and when he leaves...with super great photos of their adventures on the walk! He makes sure she has a treat and plenty of water before he leaves. Aaron comes from a background of working in veterinary offices and so I feel comfortable with him taking care of my beloved Penny dog. Best pet sitter ever!!

Absolutely love Mills River Dog Camp! My little Penny ( less than 20 lbs) actually wags her tail the whole time we are checking in. She’s anticipating all the fun she will have I guess! Staff is very responsive and caring. When going somewhere new you always worry about your fur baby, but I don’t worry anymore, her expressions toward staff and being there speaks for itself. It’s her vacation when we take a vacation!
My dog attends Mills River Dog Camp two days a week. He is full of excitement upon arrival every single time, and I have zero qualms about leaving him in the kind, caring, and capable hands of the staff, in an environment that is absolutely dog-centric. It is obvious that much thought has gone into the design of the camp. It had an adorable real camp vibe, and it so CLEAN and well-maintained. The dogs are grouped by cabin, and each cabin has a counselor to oversee the play/interaction of the group. The cabins all have a separate yard with plenty of room for the dogs to run and explore. My dog has made many friends here, and I am grateful that he is able to socialize safely with good dogs. At the end of his day, he leaves spent and clearly happy. In addition to doggy daycare, Mills River Dog Camp provides boarding services for when I have to leave my dog overnight. I highly recommend them for this as well. They are meticulous regarding the needs of each dog while in their care, and I know that they will keep him safe and give him time and affection while I am gone. 5 stars plus.

Very happy with my experience working with Mills River Dog Camp. They care for all the dogs there and it shows. My three dogs spent four nights there and even though at least one is normally troublesome, the staff only had great things to say about them. They sent pictures and let me know daily how my pups were doing. I can not recommend them enough for your boarding and daycare needs.
Mills River Dog Camp have always been there for us but most importantly our Phoebe loves her human buddies as well as her furry ones. They treat her like she was one of their own. Thank you!
Our Lucy has been attending Mills River Dog Camp once a week for more than two years!! The staff is wonderful, caring and friendly. Lucy loves going to camp and usually comes home exhausted. It’s a great facility with reasonable rates. Glad to be part of the family!
MRDC is the BEST doggie day care ever. I used one in Arden until the lack of professionalism and my friend's dog getting severely injured convinced me to switch. At MRDC my dog can go in and out freely between the cabin and the yard. The yards are artificial turf, so no ticks, buried poop, nothing he can get into. The dog groups are small, the yards are spacious, the staff is friendly, and my dog LOVES it there. The best part is I can see the dogs playing from my car (which makes me late to work). Oliver and I highly recommend Mills River Dog Camp!
Our two dogs visit Mills River Dog camp for day-care and boarding. They LOVE this place, they go in with happy tails and come out with happy tails. They get excited to see the camps staff and they love playing with all the other dogs. It makes our vacations more enjoyable knowing we our leaving our beloved pets in such good hands.
My two dogs just returned home from a 2 week stay at MRDC, and they had the best time. I was updated with picture several times during the stay. Boarding can be so stressful for the dogs, but my two came home happy, healthy and smiling. I would never bring them anywhere else! The staff is kind, professional and caring. The dog camp is spotlessly clean and organized. When you pull in for drop off/pick up, you can see that all the dogs are having such fun playing with each other, or lounging in the spacious cabins. I highly recommend this place for boarding and day care.
Our dog loves Mills River Dog Camp and so do we! They take the time to interview you and really get to know you and your pet. Every time I drop him off he is giddy with excitement. They work with our schedule (up to last minute) to let me drop off for day camp and have 1/2 day option. When we travel they text photos and videos to let you know just how much fun your dog is having. The staff knows me and my dog by name and are always friendly. I highly recommend this boarder for both day and travel.
