I have really enjoyed this House sitting the atmosphere of the house was perfect for my studdies it was cosy, full of memories and clean. Sally has informed me about Sky's and Charlie's change of a personality while on the lead meeting other dogs on walks. Sky's previous owner and their close neighbour Val offered to take Sky in her house for a night to reduce the pressure on me having two dogs on the walk same time. So I have walked Sky only once and than she stayed with Val. So I have ended up walking them separately, there are many walks around and really well sign posted. But to my surprise when I walked them individually they were wonderful even when meeting other dogs and I really enjoyed walking them to the point I have them of the lead with good recall. So I prosume they would not be as bad for experienced walker who would be aware. Would definitely recommend this sit and stay again.
We enjoyed our stay with Dot & Wolf and absolutely recommend this sit! Zhanna and Adam were very kind and welcoming hosts. Their dogs, Dot & Wolf were well-behaved and lovely. Dot, the older dog, was quieter and loved daily walks and belly rubs. Wolf, the German Shepard lived to play ball in the yard and secretly liked to be pet at night. Their home was a peaceful, quiet, and clean retreat in Longmont. Definitely say yes to this sit!
The doggies were very sweet. If you like cuddling then they will be great companions for you. The area around the house is great for walking, and the house was very lovely and clean to stay at. Sherry and David were very nice folks, and offered plenty of helpful info that might be helpful to me during the sit.

Fig, Squabble and Locket are the most amusing, animated, utterly adorable characters. I particularly loved our long walks on Hackpen Hill and nights curled up on the sofa with a book or a movie. This was my first THS sit. I can’t imagine I’ll find a better one. The house is lovely. The information and everything I needed (i.e. firewood) was provided. Everything just felt easy and straightforward. I love walking often - and far - so this sit was ideal for me. The dogs gave me much-needed routine; I work remotely 80% of the time so relished the walks and break from my laptop. I came for 3 weeks, at a time I was really quite busy professionally, and yet it all felt like a little holiday. A pleasure to sit for Fig, Locket, and Squabble. I should be very happy to sit again, and hope to do so in the summer.
Luna was an angel to look after. I would highly recommend to any sitter.

Asked Jim pretty last minute to see my cat when we went away for for a week. He came over the next day, got oriented, and then checked on her every day for a week. Rates seem fair, he played with her, did litter and food and brushing. Seemed to look for things to do for my cat. Will use again and do recommend.

Jen is truly one of the best dog walkers out there. Our dog Oscar is obsessed with her - to the point where she tries to walk quietly by our house if she's going to walk our neighbor's dog so he doesn't hear her! On Oscar's first birthday, I was traveling for work and Jen took Oscar to the store to get him a birthday cake toy. It's the smaller, thoughtful things like this that make her irreplaceable in our pup's life. She also takes super cute pictures (attached) and sends an email about how each walk went. She makes leaving Oscar for work trips less hard because I know that he'll be so excited to see her when she comes for his walk!
Jen and the Shawe's team have been walking my family's dogs for 7 years or so. They have always gone above and beyond to accommodate shifting schedules, schedule or cancel on short notice, and even pick up the phone to talk about any pet concerns we might have (unrelated to them! just for advice!). My pup Ollie loves seeing his walkers and I could not do my job without the peace of mind that someone responsible will come take him out and play with him while I work. Bonus - they take the best pics of my little guy while they visit!

I’ve used Jen and her walkers for over 5 years now and I honestly would never use any other dog walking service in Philly. She is trustworthy, reliable, AND LOVES all of her dogs. And my dog absolutely loves her dog walkers, as I’ve been able to see a couple times when my dog will go running toward them, tail wagging if we happen to bump into them on the street. Jen uses an easy-to-use app to schedule walks/pay invoices and to see the daily walk reports which is super convenient. Also Jen makes herself available for every client and will always try her best to accommodate any late requests - I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve had to put in a last minute request for a same-day dog walk or for an overnight stay the week-of and Jen will always make it work. Aside from that, it’s great to get pictures of my dog on her walk while I’m at work - I truly never have to worry Sophie when I’m not at home because I know she’s in such great hands. Jen and her team has been taking care of our dog since he was brought into our family as a puppy! From consistent walks, amazing walkers and just all around dog people to overnight stays, she has been there for us throughout his life (and will be for the many years yet to come)! Jen has been in my dog's life for years (even though we've since moved to the suburbs.) She and her staff are flexible, reliable, and they LOVE their charges/pets. They truly understand my quirky, sweet dachshund and he loves them for it. He even got to sleep over Jen's house!! Jen is super responsive and capable and she chooses excellent staff members. I called Little Characters today and the owner or whoever takes care of the phone calls was very offensive! I called looking to start dog walking services. I told him my needs and he said that what I needed could get to be pretty expensive and he was not sure if I could afford it. I told him he was very offensive and that I wouldn't be calling if I could not afford it! Afterwards, he says well if you can afford it I can do it. That's not how you conduct business! It was very rude and offensive. You cannot tell someone you don't think they can afford something.
I am so impressed by the level of caring the sitters had for my cat. They contacted me daily while I was away to give updates. They took excellent care of my cat. They made it possible for me to relax and enjoy my vacation because I knew that my cat was well cared for. I highly recommend these sitters! I'll never use anyone else!!

Lori is truly a godsend for us! Our high energy pup needs firm but loving direction in a caretaker and it was tough to find someone we trusted with him. Lori came for a meet and greet to ensure it was a good fit and reassured me at every step of the way. She follows all instructions to a T and our dog loves her! We’ve loved receiving frequent updates and photos from her visits while we’ve been away. She is a great communicator as well and always does her best to work with our needs for scheduling despite understandably having a number of clients vying for her time. Lori is amazing! Met her just a few days prior to her watching our dog, Jade. She is soo sweet, friendly, and Jade just loved her so much! She came to the house multiple times a day and sent us pictures and videos. I felt so relieved and happy that Jade was so comfortable and loves Lori so much! Can’t recommend highly enough! Needed coverage for our pup while away for the weekend. Our dog has severe separation anxiety & a medical condition making him it tough to board him. Lori accommodated all of his needs and ours by staying with him in our home and sent updates with pictures which we loved. She is professional and super easy to work with I highly recommend using her for all your pet care needs.

Knowing Lori was there to watch our 2 older Labrador's was comforting. They were well cared for and happy when we got home from vacation. Rosie is absolutely wonderful! She is not only reliable but also incredibly loving towards our dog. Every time we leave our pet with her, we have complete peace of mind knowing that she is in great hands. Rosie goes above and beyond to ensure our dog is happy, well-cared for, and safe. We also love all the pictures she shares with us of the activities our dog is doing! We couldn’t ask for better dog care and highly recommend to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring.
Rosie kept our dog overnight. Our dog can be nervous, especially around new people, but she warmed immediately to Rosie during our meet and greet time. In less than ten minutes my dog was sitting next to her getting her ears rubbed! Rosie was also careful to introduce our dog to her other boarders one at a time so that she could be sure that animals had good interaction and our dog was not overwhelmed. We will definitely place our pup in Rosie’s care again when needed!
Rosie has been caring for my 3 fur babies for a couple years now and always pampers my pooches to the point they don’t want to leave! I feel so very comfortable leaving my dogs with her and she always accommodates me the best she can (especially last minute). When I pick up the dogs, they honestly act as though they don’t want to leave. That is a true sign that they are loved and cared for by Rosie. I highly recommend her!
Rosie has been a phenomenal find! Our dog (3 year old goldendoodle) loves to stay with her in her home when we are busy or on vacation. She keeps in touch by sending pictures while we're away and our dog always looks so happy to be with Rosie and the other dogs. We will definitely be using her again - 5 stars!
Rosie is the best! My dog loves her daycare days to the point where it's almost impossible to get her in the car when I come to pick her up, even after a full day of playing. She always comes home happy and tired, and Rosie is so sweet with her. I can't recommend her and Main Line Dog Care enough!
We've boarded our 10 year old Havepoo Daisy with Rosie several times in the last year. Each time has been a very good experience for both Daisy and us. Rosie's love and commitment to the dogs in her care is always evident. She is reliable and very easy to work with. I wish I could give her more stars if I could! I was so lucky to have found Rosie back in 2020. I rescued my dog Winston in 2020 and was a little nervous finding care for him because he was quite reactive. Big dog boarding facilities were just too overwhelming for him. The one facility we tried, he would book it out the door as soon as you picked him up, just trying to get out asap! Now at Rosies, he runs right up to the door so excited to go in! She welcomes these dogs into her home like they are her own. She's so great with sending photos and the photos I receive always put a smile on my face knowing he has dog friends to hang out with, couches and beds to snuggle up on, and a big backyard to play in. It's so much more personal and home-like than a big boarding facility. As for the negative review, I would fully expect to pay for anything Winston might have destroyed of hers. This is her home and you're taking your dog there knowing that. At the end of the day, dogs are dogs. Your dog could have never chewed anything up in it's life and then just decides one day to chew something! As a millennial woman with no children, my dog is my child. He is my life. And I trust Rosie with him 100%! <3

Hi - I recently traveled to Europe for a week and Rosie watched my 2 Chesapeakes and did an amazing job. One of my dogs is epileptic and Rosie was great about giving him all his medications. I will definitely be using Main Line Dog Care again.
Our 7 month old lab puppy was in great hands with Caleb! He sent us a bunch of photos and kept us up to date on how she was doing. She had a blast! We highly recommend Caleb! Side note: Caleb might have a future as a dog photographer. See photo that he took that my wife and I now use as our phone background.
Caleb was recommended to us by our dear friends and we have never considered anyone else sitting our pupper (Shifu) ever since. I needed someone I could really trust to watch my dog Bowie. Caleb took such good care of him and sent me many pictures which put me at ease. I now wouldn’t trust Bowie with anyone else! We just moved to Philly and we are so lucky that we found Caleb! Not only he takes great care of our pup (Fuller), he also recommends us to so many great spots that we could take our pup. Fuller absolutely loves Caleb - you can tell by the intensity of the tail wag when he sees Caleb. This is a photo of Fuller taking a nap at Caleb’s place. We like that it was crate free so Fuller learned how to be in the house!
I highly recommend 215petcare for all of your dog walking and dog sitting needs! Caleb has been my reliable and wonderful dog walker for years. My 3 very active pitties absolutely love him! Things can be hectic with my work schedule, but I know I can depend on Caleb’s flexibility to make sure my dogs get a nice walk with playtime while I am gone. He has even been able to stop by on shorter notice when I am out longer than I expected to be. It’s reassuring to know you have a dog walker that truly cares for your pet as much as you do, which is completely true of Caleb. I love all of the nice photos he sends of my dogs from their walks too! I recommend him to everyone and will undoubtedly continue with him for the future!!
Caleb is super reliable and you can tell he loves the dogs he takes care of and they love him. We've used him for 3 years and our dog gets so excited when she sees him coming up the street. Offers walks and day care which is great since our schedule changes on a weekly basis. He is more organized than we are most of the time. Would highly recommend!
Can't say enough about Caleb and 215Petcare. I've have been using Caleb for all my pet walking/sitting needs for a number of years now. From the very first time I met Caleb it was evident how much he loved dogs and how passionate he was about providing nothing but the best care. I trust Caleb with the care of my two pups completely...he treats them like they are his own and even checks in on them during times we haven't seen him in a while. My pups absolutely love spending time with him and his dogs. His place is like a second home to them. Highly recommend Caleb to anyone, he truly has become a part of our family.
Caleb shows genuine affection for the dogs in his care. We recently left our two older dogs with Caleb for 10 days. He regularly sent updates and photos. I highly recommend Caleb and already have requested another 10 day stay in January.
Caleb is so good with my dog! He was very patient as she learned to trust him (she developed a bit of separation anxiety during the pandemic). She clearly adores him now. Caleb is also extremely organized and reliable: always confirms appointments, let’s me know his ETA to pick her up and drop her back, and is easy to communicate with. Liz is awesome - super reliable/professional and my dog is obsessed with her. When he was a puppy she would help with his training and reinforce everything we were teaching him. We love Pamper and play! We have used their service for walking our dog and for housesitting. In both cases we found Liz and her team to be reliable, responsible and loving toward our dog. I also love how we can book a dog walk once in a while when we realize we're going to be gone for a long day. Liz is as happy and responsive to do a oner-off walk as to be coming regularly. The folks that housesit for P&P are wonderful. (TJ is great!_ I can tell they really bond with our dog. I highly recommend Pamper & Play. You won't regret it!

Very professional. We had Liz take care of our 2 dogs and 4 cats, in our own home, while away for our summer vacation in Myrtle Beach. They and we loved her!!! She stopped by 3x a day to make sure our furry family members were happy and healthy. Liz even went the extra mile of vacuuming to make sure we didn't come home to extra fluffy carpet due to summer shedding. She loved the animals as if they were her own, and spoiled them as if so. I think they were more upset to see Liz go then us when we left for vacation lol. She also kept us updated daily with how everybody was doing. They didn't seem to miss us one bit 😍
I have two German Shepherds and was dog sitting for a friend when I had a family emergency. I was needed at the hospital ASAP. I was nervous about these dogs being together and I needed someone fast that could handle the job. I had heard about Liz from a friend. I can't express my gratitude enough. She showed up as quickly as she could. She walked them, fed them, managed to have them all tuckered out by the time I got home (not an easy task) AND all three of them were snuggling on the same bed. As far as my experience goes, Liz is a miracle worker! I will definitely be relying on her services from now on.

I am writing a recommendation for any dog owner to try the Dog House of Delco's Grooming option. The business is run by a very friendly, professional group of people. I have interacted with Sean, Taylor, and other friendly associates. I took my dogs here after one of them experienced a terrible time with other groomers, causing him to become fearful of the process. He's huge, and floofy, and too much for me to groom on a daily basis. I tried Dog House of Delco, and explained his situation. They took him on, and, the positive change in him is remarkable. They are so kind and professional that I drop both of my dogs here now. The cuts look wonderful. My dogs are oriented to people rather than other dogs, otherwise I would try the daycare. :). Thank you to Sean, Taylor(groomer), and all of the friendly, patient, talented people at DHOD!
Great boarding and daycare experience for my pup! I love that they have a capacity for daycare si that you know they're not cramming as many dogs as they can in one space. There's even an outdoor area for them!
*UPDATE - Rocket still loves day care here and goes twice a week! He also had his first boarding stay (2 nights) when we had to go out of town for a weekend and he was ZONKED when we brought him home. He got a nice bath and was clearly well cared for. We felt great leaving him there, especially since he knows the building and the staff knows him from daycare. We don't know what we'd do without Dog House!* New customers, but we cannot say enough about Dog House of Delco! The communication has been so efficient, timely and friendly; we emailed with a list of questions prior to our first day dropping our little guy off, and everything was answered/nothing was brushed over, which made us feel confident about entrusting our pup to their care. But, more importantly, our little guy seems to LOVE it. We bring him for daycare once a week so he can have some fun and socialize while we are both at work, and will probably have the occasional week we bring him twice. He goes right back with the staff without hesitation, and after his first day, we had the most tired, content pup on our hands! He is only 7 months old so we cannot wait to see how this enriches his life for years to come. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend at least their daycare services to anyone who is in or around the Broomall, PA area!
Our dog stayed here for a week. The staff was incredible - responsive, friendly, and kind. Shawn (manager) took the time to follow up after our visit to see how the dog was doing. Highly recommend if you're looking for a trustworthy place to take care of your best bud!
Thank you to The Dog House of Delco for making our Scout girl super clean and fluffy! We’ve gone other places but Shawn and his team are hands down the BEST groomers we have been to! And grooming an Aussie is a lot to handle! Thank you for always making our girl beautiful!
Updated review: I appreciate that the owner, Shawn, called me in response to this review and apologized for this incident. He also refunded my dog's stay, which I didn't expect, but I do value a company who will acknowledge a mistake and rectify it. I'm disappointed that we didn't have a better experience here. The owner with whom I initially scheduled my dog's boarding stay was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. He said we could do an early drop off at 8:00 a.m. on a Saturday as, he explained, someone will be there at that time even though they don't open until 9:00 a.m. I also called two days before the boarding date to confirm the 8:00 drop off and was told by another employee that this would be fine. However, when we arrived at 8 a.m. to drop off our dog, the door was locked and no one was there. We waited awhile, called repeatedly, left two messages, and received no response. We had planned our trip departure based on dropping the dog off at 8 a.m., so we were now an hour late and had to adjust our entire itinerary. At 9:00, an employee was there to check in my dog and he apologized, stating that he was not notified about the earlier drop off. As a new customer, I'm frustrated that despite leaving two messages asking for some clarification as to why this occurred, no one ever called me back or acknowledged this happened when I picked up my dog after her stay. I also received no feedback regarding my dog's first boarding experience there, so I had to assume that she was okay. I had hoped to use The Dog House of Delco for frequent boarding stays, but as a new customer, I'm disappointed that no efforts were made by the company to address this miscommunication and inconvenience.
Our experience at The Dog House of Delco has been phenomenal. Even though we visit the business sporadically, many of the workers still remember the names of our dogs (two Yorkies) and welcome them when we enter. We have both used this business for short term (one day) and long term (a week or more), and our dogs were taken care of and returned to us happy and healthy each visit. The owner is personable and flexible, helping us one time with a last-minute booking, which he certainly didn’t have to do but found a way to make it happen. We have had a very positive experience overall, and the prices for services seem reasonable. You can always call in to check on your pets if you miss them like we do. When you enter, pay attention to the signs, as the way you are supposed to navigate the parking lot has changed over time.
Dog House of Delco did a great job with our young Shiba Inu. She came back looking great after a week and seems to have been well cared for. If we need to board her again, we'll be back.
I absolutely love this place and all the employees. I used to take my dog to another chain local groomer until we had a bad experience. Now I exclusively take Molly here and she honestly loves getting dropped off!
It was my first time here and they were good with my two small dogs. Very thorough with explanations and we did a trial day before their actual check in - so that we’d see if the dogs would be a good fit. I was able to put them in the same room and keep them together. They called me with an update and left a message for me. My one dog is part Chihuahua with some behavior issues and they were able to accommodate him just fine. They came back happy and safe. The staff is very friendly and they treat you with a lot of understanding. I was able to bring some things from home to leave with the dogs for comfort items. I was very nervous leaving them but they eased all of my worries. Thanks !
Philadelphia Pet Hotel & Villas was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Prices were fair, it was simple to schedule the boarding for our cats, and the service/updates of our cats we received were great. I would highly recommend their services to friends or family.
For several years, my cat has been boarding at Philly Pet Hotel when I am out of town, and we’re both super pleased with the experience. They are such kind, caring, compassionate people, and Jelly Bean clearly enjoys the attention from and playtime with the staff. I appreciate the option to get text/photo updates of her stay. I’m grateful that I can rely on the team there to take care of her while I’m away. Highly recommend!
This is the only kennel I trust. They took incredible care of my puppy. He didn't want to leave! They are simply the best.
This is now the umpteenth time we’ve lodged our dog, Cosmo, here, but a perfect example of how Philadelphia Pet Hotel & Villas always goes above and beyond: While I had arranged for a late check out, my flight kept getting delayed. I ended up picking up Cosmo at midnight, and even at that time, there was someone there to hand him over and carefully read me his detailed chart (notes on his stay)! This same visit, they gave me a call to let me know Cosmo had gotten a tiny scratch on his nostril while playing… so tiny that I probably wouldn’t have noticed it day-to-day, but they did! They watch over many dogs but still deliver attentive and individualized care to each dog. The peace of mind I get when traveling knowing Cosmo is safe and cared for is worth it every cent. As seen below, Cosmo himself cannot wait for his next stay.
I recently boarded my dog here for around a week. It was my dogs first time boarding and I was super nervous leaving him by himself since he's also a little reactive to other dogs. But the staff here were so kind and accommodating to our needs and my dog had no issues while staying here. Will definitely be coming back here to board my dog and recommending this place to my friends!
Absolutely stunned with how amazing this pet hotel is! I needed to board my 65 lb yellow lab named Mango in a short amount of time and Daren and Chris from Philadelphia Pet Hotel & Villas wasted no time to accommodate our needs! Being given a tour of the facility, I knew I had chosen the right place for my dog when I saw their 'villas' and play areas. Beautiful land, clean facility, excellent price. Mango will be back!
Great, modern, clean pet hotel w very attentive staff. Honestly surprised it's in Philly. We felt really good about leaving our dog here for a week. We got photos each day, email reports, and she had play sessions each day.
They did a great job with my Geely! Their cat facilities are really beautiful. Each cat gets 1 hour of playtime per day outside of the cat condo. The staff was very attentive to his needs and they even contacted me to let me know he was not eating much (which is completely normal when a cat is outside of his/her comfort zone). Geely was perfectly fine and had a wonderful visit, I just really appreciated how much they cared about him! I would 10/10 recommend to a friend. We love Philly Pet Hotel & Villas!
I cannot rave about this place enough. Our sweet little boy was there for 8 days while we vacationed. We got updated photos and told about his progress throughout the whole trip. When we picked him up he looked like he was having the time of his life and the staff was so friendly I can just tell they treated our guy well by how he wanted to say his goodbyes to everyone. Not to mention he came back cleaner then when we sent him! I highly recommend The Philly Pet Hotel to anyone that loves their fur baby as much as I do!
Lisa is incredible. She has helped me so tremendously I can’t even put it into words. My cat Homer is a 16 year old newly diagnosed with diabetes, which makes leaving for holidays and events a bit harder due to his injections. Lisa has helped me more times than I can count, and Homer loves her! It is such a weight off my mind that he is being cared for so well. She sends updates and photos and is always so generous with her time. I can’t imagine what this past year would have been like without her help.
I have used Lisa Burke from Family Style Pet Sitting as my pet sitter for 13 years now. My old dog would actually get excited when he saw us packing for vacation because he knew he was going to go to Lisa’s house for his “vacation.” I never worried about him because I knew he was in the best possible hands. When he was sick and required special care and medicine, she was the only one I trusted. She also takes care of my two cats and my new dog, and she used to take care of my chickens when we had them as well. Highly recommend!!
Lisa was a God send for our family. We had a vacation planned which got changed around a few times due to a family emergency. Lisa was ready at every corner to adjust as she was able. She showed up on time and as expected. She will be used again on our future trips it is nice to have someone that you can trust. Thanks Lisa!
