We had a lovely relaxing time in Mesa with Chica, Cookie and Houdini. They are still behaved, easy care pets. You will quickly fall in love with each of them. We miss them already. Kate and Sharon were great to deal with and provided all the information we needed. Their home was spotless, well appointed and the backyard is a wonderful place to sit and chill. We would repeat sit for them in a heartbeat. Thank you for choosing us!
We had the pleasure of watching Bill, and occasionally Soda for about two and a half weeks. Vicki’s communication before, during, and even after the sit was much appreciated. She’s very thoughtful and throughout in making sure we had everything we needed to be successful in taking care of their home and four legged family members. Her and Michael had an early morning flight, so we arrived the night before to allow the pups to get acclimated to us, and enjoyed a wonderful homemade meal by Vicki and her husband Michael. We felt honored Vicki and Michael chose us to watch Bill, the neighborhood celebrity dog whom most neighbors seem to know. Occasionally we’d watch Soda when their son was unable to, but since Soda is a sweet girl it didn’t take any extra effort. Vicki and Michael made sure we had their son’s phone number and he was easy to communicate with as well. It took a few hours for Soda and Bill to warm up to us, but it wasn’t long before Bill enjoyed hanging out with us while we worked from home or cooked in the kitchen. The backyard is peaceful and you can feel the amount of love radiating from it that Michael puts into it. Michael walked us through how to maintain it, and we definitely enjoyed many afternoons outside soaking up the sunshine with the pups. Vicki and Michael’s home is a beautiful oasis in the city of Berkeley! Anyone that is able to housesit Bill, and even Soda are in for a treat.
I absolutely loved Saarika’s little treasures (2 cats, 1 dog). They were so easy & loving & I’d happily take care of them again. Bonus too that her place is big, beautiful, light-filled, conveniently located & well suited for those who want to work from home.
Without any doubt that was one of the best experiences at this platform! Staying at Jennifer’s home was like being in a hotel for a week. There is a gym, a reception, a club’s area for bbq, and Jennifer even organized an underground garage for me! The apartment itself is very clean and modern! Mr.Cheers is a very cool big cat. He has a character like every male, so it took a day to know each other and after we did very well!!! I knew his signs when he wants me to pet him 🙂 Thanks to Jennifer for that experience, I can definitely recommend everyone to try it!
Lamandra was very responsive, communicated well, and prepared a guide of everything I would need for the house and pet sit. The house is located in a great area with lots of walking trails for the dogs and plenty of coffee shops, restaurants, grocery, etc. close by. Lenny and Pali were very sweet and easy to take care of.
What a great place to spend a week! Hazel and Bill made me very welcome on arrival and we enjoyed a lovely lunch before they headed off. Their house is very comfortable and the garden is wonderful. I picked sweet peas all week and fresh tomatoes too. Ruby is the gentlest, sweetest labrador I've ever met. Very quiet except for the occasional playful spell when she loved to chase up and down the garden playing fetch. We had some amazing walks..I used to live a few miles away so all my old walking routes were almost on the doorstep. I met up with friends too so was able to combine walking with Ruby and chatting with friends. If you like forests and woods you will be in heaven as Hazel and Bill's house is right next to the most wonderful wooded walks and there are plenty more a short drive away. I work from home and the wifi was great, high speed and more than adequate for my needs. I am going back again soon for another week with Ruby and I hope she is looking forward to it as much as I am!
