Rebekah was a delightful host. Her home is clean, warm and inviting. We were very comfortable in the space and enjoyed her beautiful decorating. Coco- where could I begin? She is a special girl. I felt quite honored to have the chance to care for her. Everything she needed was simple and I just loved having her there. Cleo was equally as simple and she is off on cat adventures most of the day! We had a bit of rain to contend with but otherwise enjoyed the proximity to downtown Southern Pines. The whole town seems to be decorated for the holidays! The whole weekend was lovely.
I had a lovely time caring for Finn, Nova, and Echo in Todd's beautiful home. Finn is a sweet, affectionate puppy with a lot of energy and a lot to say. I didn't win the cats' affection in my short visit, but they had a hilarious playful rapport with Finn. Todd was very communicative and I felt totally prepared for anything that might come up.
We had an amazing time house sitting for Angeli! Timmy, Lucy and Poopy are the sweetest dachshunds ever and just lovely to be around. We loved going on their daily walks and just spend time inside or in the garden in their company, we miss them already! The house is beautiful and the neighborhood is really quiet and full of friendly people. There's also lots of forest paths to walk on and Hinchley Wood is less than 10 minutes away by foot. You can also easily walk to Esher's city center in about 20 minutes and there are many beautiful cities nearby you can either walk or take the bus to. Angeli was kind enough to take us grocery shopping and even take us to Kingston Upon Thames with her. We are really grateful for everything she did for us and we would love to come back! Angeli was super welcoming and even offered to let us stay a couple more days since we had another housesitting right after this one. Also, she printed out all the instructions on a piece of paper and showed us how to do everything before she and Daniel left for their trip so everything was very clear.
Beth was a great host, and she has a beautiful home. Ralph is a puppy, and that does mean more attention is needed than older dogs to keep him occupied. As he gets older, he'll relax a bit, and future house sitters will have an even better time than we did. He was playful, liked hanging out with us, and loved a walk around the racecourse opposite the house. Communication was quick, clear, detailed, and we couldn't have asked for more. Thank you!
Once warmed up to you Ruby and Laika are super sweet and lovable, they won’t want to leave your side. They easily go into their crates and love to play with the toys. The property is very nice with a vegetable garden in the back yard. We had a wonderful stay.
