Jose was housesitting for us for 3 weeks and everything went perfectly! Jose is very reliable and took great care of our cat Syrah and our apartment. He was also very communicative and regularly sent us pictures and videos of Syrah which gave us great confidence that our cat and home were in good hands, and that we didn’t need to worry about anything. We would definitely recommend Jose for anyone who wants to have their pets and home to be in good hands while away. Thanks so much, Jose!
We stayed 4 weeks in the cottage on the property and looked after the three dogs Poppy, Callie and Tiggy. We felt directly at home and had an amazing time. The dogs are wonderful, like a family, and behave well. We walked them 2 times a day. As we are both working, I would recommend to be two people or not have a job, so that the dogs are best supported. The cottage is big and cosy and has everything that you could need for a long stay. The communication with Alexander was super easy and friendly. We stayed even 4 days longer. Definitely a recommendation for a house sitting if you want a time off on the cosy country side with 3 amazing dogs (which we are already missing).
Our absolute favourite sit!!!!! Patti and Luc are wonderful people who are great communicators and were very accommodating of some flexibility we needed on the last day. Their home and surrounding area are fantastic. We got to walk around alone and with the dogs, visited some great cafes, bars and food trucks that are all within a few blocks. Best of all are Bean and Joey. Bean is, well, full of beans. She was a wonderful shadow to have around the house and loved to snuggle up close. Joey is one of the sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet. To win her trust over the first day and build upon it over the 5 days was extremely humbling. She is nervous but when she lets you in you get to see her playful, cuddly and goofy side. Both dogs were a dream to look after, the home had all we needed and more and we’d be happy to house sit anytime in the future. Thank you Patti and Luc for our stay.
This was our first house sit and it was everything we’d hoped for - and more. It was a real privilege to spend time in this very special place. Stacey and Kaj were fantastically welcoming and made us feel at home right away. The house is warm, comfortable, well-equipped and elegant. The cats were very easy-going and a delight to look after. The island of Eigg is stunningly beautiful, and the fact that we couldn’t take our car to the island (only residents are allowed to drive) was actually an added bonus as it meant that we walked for miles and miles in the most glorious surroundings. We would be back in a heartbeat.
Mabel and Lola were delightful company both in their home and on a walk and we had a lovely time sitting for them. Jo and Robert they made us very welcome in their beautiful home and Jo’s welcome guide was great. Plenty of helpful information about Mabel and Lola as well as the house and local area. Although short, it was a very enjoyable stay. Thank you Jo and Robert.
Lucy and Itsy are absolutely lovely! Their adorable companionship, walking side by side, never failed to bring a smile to my face. Witnessing Lucy's love for the dock and those mesmerizing sunrises over the water, with Itsy waiting at the start, was a cherished experience. Their bond warmed my heart. Mary Jean's tranquil, elegant home is truly exceptional and ideal for working remotely. She left excellent instructions and made time ahead of my stay to introduce me to Lucy and Itsy. Writing and reading on the porch with Lucy was an absolute privilege. I'm so grateful I got to attend Thanksgiving with family and then relax with leftovers and Lucy all weekend. She is an incredibly sweet dog. I highly recommend this house-sitting experience and hope to return someday.
I would be happy to sit for this lovely couple again! They have sweet kitties and a great house!
