Kristen’s apartment is indeed adorable but not as adorable as the very frisky Ruthie and Brian. It was such a pleasure spending nearly three weeks with those furry weirdos in a comfy and well placed two bedroom apartment in super cool Carrboro. Plenty of bars, restaurants and supplies nearby. Communication with Kristen was excellent and she gave detailed instructions making the whole process seamless. I had a wonderful time and would highly recommend cat and house sitting for her if you are so lucky.
Charlie and I thoroughly enjoyed our time in Edzell with 2 loving, easy going dogs who just live for ball throws, walks and sleep! Fifi the cat was very low maintenance turning up for breakfast after being out most of the night. She enjoyed a fuss but didn't take too well to me trying to brush her! The dogs Duke and Lilly are so well behaved. They go off lead once away from the houses and have great recall. The river walk from the house or the park at the end of the road are handy for the early morning and tea time walks/ ball throws. Beaches are within a half hour drive where the dogs can run to their hearts content. We were made to feel so welcome on arrival by Jaqui and Neil who gave us all the information we required before they left for their holiday. Their beautiful bungalow is so very comfortable in every way. Edzell has a few shops, however we did an on line shop with Tesco. There are also places to eat in Edzell within 5 minutes walk as well as the fish and chip shop and local pub where you can get takeaway. So really you have everything on your doorstep when doing this sit. We are grateful to have been accepted for this sit and really hope to return one day. Thank you all again. Gill and Charlie x
Chanel is very friendly and sweet person. Cats are also gentle & behaves well.
We had a really lovely time looking after Patricia and John's two beautiful dogs. They were so hospitable and welcoming, the dogs were a joy to be with and their house and garden is just perfect for a countryside stay. We can't recommend highly enough.
