A++ Stay! Kristyn and Paul have a beautiful home on a tree-lined street in a quiet neighborhood. The big backyard and patio make relaxing with Trapper a joy. The home is thoughtfully appointed and very clean and comfortable. Trapper is a wonderful dog with a very sweet personality. He was a little nervous when we first arrived but we very quickly became best friends. He just loves to be with you and rest his head in your lap. And don’t forget the belly scratches. He is crate trained which makes going out foolproof. Bailey is a very sweet kitty who didn’t need much attention but we would have given it to her if she had asked. We loved everything about our stay! We had great communication with Kristyn and the welcome guide was very thorough and easy to follow. I can’t think of a much better way to spend a couple of nights away. I highly recommend this sit to anyone.
I had an amazing time in Berlin! The hosts, Martin and Petar, are truly charming and their dog, Dushka, is a little sweaty. Since it was the first time for both of us to use this platform, we took a little extra time to get to know each other. Dushka was used to dog pension and had been on walks with others, but this particular scenario was new to her: the dog stays at home, the owner leaves, and a sitter enters the household. Nevertheless, everything went smoothly! Dushka turned out to be an open and affectionate dog who enjoys long walks. She also enjoys a little mental activity. So we did some activities that involved mental stimulation, and she totally enjoyed this type of playtime! In addition, she always had a great time playing fetch. Our 3-4 walks would usually stretch to 3-4 hours. When we returned, she would settle down on her bed and sleep, giving me time to attend to my own activities, including work. I worked from the apartment during my stay and had the pleasure of experiencing a very calm and relaxed dog. I was also able to leave the apartment for a few hours, knowing that Dushka wouldn't get into any mischief. The morning feeding routine with the little tablet was actually quite straightforward - no problems at all! As a sitter, I was provided with a guest room to sleep in and a private bathroom. Both were clean and very comfortable! If given the opportunity, I would love to take care of Dushka again. She's really a fantastic dog - I already miss her!
Kathie was extremely kind and friendly to us, and her pets are absolutely lovely. We fell in love with sweet Duddley and gorgeous Anna, the dogs are super well trained and just a pleasure to take care of. Chester is a lovely cat, he got very cuddly once he got used to us. Kathie has a huge house with stunning views and we really enjoyed it here! 100% recommended, we will be back if Kathie ever needs housesitter for the cuties!
My time with GJ was nothing but purrrfect! This little one is the sweetest mix of playful and cuddly. GJ has the sweetest energy and will keep you entertained with their hilarious personality. I was lucky enough to watch them while they were 5 months old and I can tell this one is going to grow up to be a big bundle of love! Angela is such a kind person with a welcoming spirit. Her home is by far one of the most coziest, creative homes I’ve stayed in. The neighborhood is also a prime location in Portland! I highly recommend this sit! Anyone would be SO lucky to watch GJ and would have an amazing host to work with! Thanks Angela ♥️
Marcy is the most caring person you could ever imagine and she made us feel welcome from the first second at her beautiful Rancho Viva, which is a very special place we enjoyed like no other. We stayed with the two senior dogs Sis and Totty which were the best buddies we could have wished for! Such sweet personalities always up for a cuddle and so well behaved. Just like the sheep, it was such a joy to care for them and here them asking for food in the morning and evening. Thank you again for all you’ve done for us, dear Marcy, it was an honour to meet you!
Leo is an amazing, super intelligent, three years old dog. After a few days I felt we got a really good connection between us. He barks and pulls the leash every time he meets a male dog big enough, so you always have to pay attention when you go out with him. He likes to play with female dogs though, and seeing him playing is super fun! He is not neutered, so anyway it's important to pay attention! We were going everyday to the dogs area close to the house, where I could leave him freely to sniff and explore around. We also went together to Villa Sciarra, which is a good place to get some shadow under the trees in the extremely hot roman summer. I spent a lot of time with him even at home because I was working remotely in the meantime and I really enjoyed his company. He is used to being on the bed so we were sleeping together at night. Besides big male dogs, he likes everyone else. It only happened once he started to bark at a guy who was running and passing by. Overall, this was my first experience of house and pet sitting and I enjoyed it. The location of the apartment is great. Monteverde is a super nice quarter of Rome, quite close to the main attractions. Khaled was always available when I needed extra information. I will miss Leo and I hope to see him again :')

You will get pictures sent throughout the day just to see a bit of what’s going on. Also report cards to see how well your fur baby did that day. When water activities are part of the day, they always come back clean and dry! Recently exotic paws got a big pool for all the pups and Charlie is so living for it! My husband and I have a little chihuahua mix who is pretty social and has high energy. We have taken her to different daycare but Exotic Paws definitely has the personal touch! They came highly recommended from our neighbor who also uses them for boarding. We took Chica here for day of day camp prior to boarding for a weekend trip. She had a blast! Exotic Paws is THE BEST doggy daycare for your pups and fur babies in LA. Khris is super responsive when booking and always makes sure to get to know your dogs’ needs and preferences before their stay. He’s clear with directions and very prompt with pickup and drop off. My 8 year old pup Bella has been boarding at Exotic Paws for the past few years whenever I’m out of town. They are super accommodating and have always been available, even at the very last minute. Last time Bella was boarding, my flight got canceled 2 days in a row and Khris was extremely kind and generous to keep her until I could get home. He took away all my anxieties and made me feel super comfortable. You can tell he loves the dogs and enjoys being their caretaker while you’re away. He sends tons of updates with pictures and videos so you know your fur baby is having a great time! Bella gets tons of treats and play time during her stays and always comes home super tired and happy, just as a dog should be. Her favorite activity is fetch and Khris makes sure she gets special fetch time and she just looks soooo happy! He just adds that personal touch we all want for our pups while we’re away. I’d highly recommend Exotic Paws to anyone in the LA area looking for a dependable, safe, and loving place for your pups to stay!
Wow just wow! Kris absolutely went above and beyond on evert aspect of Sky's boarding experience! He sent me photo updates every single day without me ever asking and not even mentioning about a super cute laminated report card and a little gift. My mind was at ease during my trip knowing Sky was well taken care of and having so much fun too. This was Sky's first boarding with Kris and definitely won't be the last. You can trust Kris on taking care of your fur babies. The best!!
Great visit with Khris! Diesel had a fantastic day and I'm working up to bringing my cat too! Diesel is working on reinforcing training and gaining confidence. I love that his process has started to yield results. We will continue to try additionally services such as boarding.

Khris is definite an amazing person! From the very first moment I booked, I definitely felt assured and valued - not just another pet owner that will come and go. My pup and I have major separation anxiety from each other and I definitely felt like Khris made the process much better for the both of us. He updated me with photos of my girl (Yuki) throughout the day with notes of how she's doing. And Yuki seemed to be super happy with her stay, definitely worn out after her day when she got home! We are from out of state and Khris really got me wishing I had a clone machine so I can take him back to Washington with me. Chris and his staff are extremely knowledgeable with dogs and you can tell that dogs are their passion. They treat every dog with love and make sure they all have fun on their stay. My dog always looks forward for daycare time! We also use them when traveling for boarding and it’s always been a great experience. Highly recommend them!

Amazing service! It was our first time to leave our cat home alone for over two days, but since the meet and greet meeting with Jill I knew i could trust them and Ms. Cookie would be in good hands. Ally McPets is a godsend for those trying to arrange care for their pets when drawn out-of-town for fun or work! We were scrambling to find someone who could care for a 10-week year old kitten we rescued two weeks before a previously scheduled vacation. The kitten had warmed up to us after having being abandoned and we were concerned our absence would set him back (possibly permanently). Ally McPets saved the day. The kitten took to the person they assigned to feed and visit him. While we were away, we enjoyed the daily reports and pictures that were sent. It's clean and there's lots of things for the dogs to play with. The person that showed us around was very nice and answered every question we had. They even offer different packages tailored to fit your dog's needs. For example, I got the calming package for my dog. After taking the tour,I felt much better about leaving my dog with them for the night.
These folks really care about the pets left in their care. They put the effort in for our guy, Mr G, to make him feel comfortable in spite of his reactivity. We really appreciate the staff at Joyful Paws and think you will too!
I was so terrified to leave my 6 month old kitten fo the 6 days, but every staff member I encountered was able to ease my fears!! My kitten did so well, they were so patient and kind with him. He can be a bit spicy when meeting new people, but he adapted do well to their kindness. I most definitely will be returning for a visit to Joyful Paws Hotel!!
While the staff was friendly, I was extremely dissatisfied with this day care. Please DO NOT take your dog here under any circumstances. The first time I took my husky here, his nails were bleeding when I picked him up. When I asked staff, they had no idea what the cause was and barely noticed it when they turned in my dog to me. He must have been pawing at a fence for a long time and gotten ignored! The other two times I took him, he came out a complete mess and extremely dirty. The picture below is the last time ever brought him in on August 18 2023. He had a horrible stain on his left cheek that almost TWO MONTHS LATER has not completely gone away!!! If you look closely, he still has a light pink/brown stain on his left cheek. I’ve tried professional groomers, whitening shampoo, and nothing works. I assume it must have been some type of tar or oil that my husky got into. Once again, I asked staff if they knew what he was getting himself into, and they were unaware of what caused the mess. They didn’t notice it until they gave me my dog at pickup. Lastly, I know someone who’s dog suffered a spinal injury here and they deleted the footage!! Regardless if you believe the spinal injury story, the evidence of how Joyful Paws neglected my dogs needs is right here. I will be taking my dog to the vet and after the evaluation, I will reach out to Joyful Paws and request compensation because this is ridiculous especially for the price they charge. If you care about your dog’s safety please don’t leave them here.
Staff was super friendly and helpful. It was a first for my pup and they made us feel comfortable and secure. Will be using them on a regular basis. Ive been going here for over a year and continue to be impressed with the staff who look after our Ollie! oliver loves the staff and all his friends at Joyful Paws.
My Chihuahua loves to go here and be social with his friends when I'm busy. Recently boarded him for three nights and he was returned happy and healthy. Will return for more visits! They are very well organized
My dog stayed here for the first time this past week. I was very impressed with the professionalism of Joyful Paws and completely trusted that my dog was safe and well taken care of here. I was able to watch my dog during play time every day with the Wag Vision live cameras. I loved the daily report cards and photos! Also, she was given a great thanksgiving meal, a bath, nail trim, and goody bag upon departure. I recommend Joyful Paws to all my fellow pet parents! Definitely will continue coming here for lodging and maybe even daycare! They are also great with following COVID precautions - limited people in the lobby allowed, curbside pickup/drop off, wearing masks, etc.
My dog LOVES Joyful Paws - he’s always so excited to go. The staff is super friendly and very attentive! I love that they do breaks during the day so the dogs aren’t overstimulated and given time to rest between play times.

1st day meet and greet. Staff was very pleasant i was given a tour this morning, and the young lady answered all of my concerns. Made me feel comfortable leaving ny dog in their care. The facility was clean. I had the ability to view my dog through Webcam which is a big plus. He was a little shy, but with time i do believe he will adjust. TY for caring and for taking care of Taco
10/10 RECOMMEND Professional - Knowledgeable - Reliable - Friendly Like many dog parents going on vacation is difficult when trying to ensure your pets are well cared for in a loving and safe environment. TIFF provides just that and more! TIFF pet sat my 3 small dogs ages 16, 15, 3 from 9/1-9/9 in her home. She had a comfy dog bed set up, fresh water bowl, and toys ready to welcome the pups. Her complex has a fenced in courtyard where the dogs can easy sniff around and get some exercise. Very nice neighborhood for walks too. TIFF put my worries at ease answering all my questions at our meet and greet prior to their stay. She even went the extra mile and visited the pups at my home a few weeks before so they can get more familiar with her. While I was out of the country we received text/photo updates and a video call. Unexpectedly there was a heat wave and could sense how well she was handling the situation and making sure the dogs were as comfortable as possible considering the circumstances. We are thankful to Tiff for providing such great service and will book again.
Cannot recommend Tiff's services enough! She takes care of our fur family whenever we're out of town. She provides constant updates and photos/videos, and is especially good at training and socializing the pups all together. We've been repeat clients for 2 years now with zero issues, and our dogs LOVE her. Will always recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter/boarder.
Tiff is our go to dog walker when we are too busy or out of town. She is dependable and sends me updates and photos of her time caring for Bella and Brutus. She has trimmed Bella's nails for me when asked. I appreciate that she has expanded her services to include pawpedis. :) It is nice to work with someone you trust.
Tiff has been essentially a co parent of my dog and I trust her more with knowing how to take good care of her than myself. My dog loves going there so I feel zero guilt if we need to leave town and I'm so grateful for Tiff. She's extremely flexible when things come up (eg new baby seen here!) and if it weren't for her, I probably wouldn't be able to have a dog or kid or at least one would be neglected 😑. Also she does her due diligence to make sure whoever she is boarding gets along well with others. Thank you Tiff!! Almost don't want to recommend you to others since then you may get too busy but I try to behave ethically and unselfishly 😛. Highly recommend! Especially if you have a dog you don't want to leave overnight at a daycare.
Tiff is everything that you want in a pet sitter and if I could give her more than 5 stars, I would. We have a Siberian husky with significant separation anxiety issues and I think it says it all when our dog can't wait to leave the comfort of our car to run up to Tiff's door :) Tiff is incredibly responsible, dependable, and goes out of her way to accommodate our needs. There have been a few times where our plans got delayed and we had to pick our dog up later than expected. However, Tiff was so understanding and flexible and made sure that we didn't rush, worry, or cut our activities short. She treats our dog like one of her own- giving him lots of love and pets, taking him to the dog park, and even treating him to Puppuccinos. We checked out a LOT of doggy daycares when we first adopted our dog and Tiff's Doggy Daycare & Pet Boarding is by far the BEST. We have used her services for over a year now for both daycare and pet boarding and we have a great experience every time.
Tiff and Jimmy are honest, reliable, and terrific pet sitters. When I was in the hospital, they came to my home twice a day to feed, clean up after, and socialize with my beloved dog, macaw, and parrot. Tiffany was great with my dog. She took the time to do meet and greet (she really took the time to get to know my dog and I was well informed as well). I feel VERY comfortable leaving my baby with her. Tiffany sent updates and pictures during the stay, that ease my mind greatly since it was our first time. My dog seems very happy on the day I dropped him off. It seemed like he was not in the hurry to go home with me when I picked him up, lol. That's how comfortable my dog felt under Tiffany's care. Our plan changed last minute and Tiffany was very kind to accommodate our pick up time. Tiffany's awesome care gave me the peace of mind when leaving my dog with her while I traveled for work. I was able to focus on my work and was not worried about my dog at all. I will definitely use Tiffany again for my future needs.
Butters stayed with Tiff a year ago and loved her. We now also have a 60 lb. bull dog. I was concerned that he was too big, but Tiff wasn't worried, and from the pictures we got from her, he seemed to love her as much as Butters. If you don't want your dogs at a mass confusion dog hotel, Tiff is the one to go to!! Personal attention and loving care!!
Tiff went above and beyond to help take care of my dog during my trip out of state. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to find a reliable sitter for my rowdy 6 month old pitbull puppy, but Tiff's experience and understanding was exactly what I needed to put my mind at ease. Isla (my Mini-Labradoodle) has been going to Camp Puppies since she was 6 months old and I couldn't be more grateful to have someone as amazing as Kacy as Isla's second mom. When we moved to the South Bay from San Luis Obispo, we didn't find a good fit with any of the local kennels and knew that our Isla needed more personalized attention, exercise, and love. I stumbled upon Camp Puppies on Google, and couldn't be happier that Kacy was willing to take Isla into the pack. Through working with Kacy during weekly walks and occasional overnights, Isla has become a more confident and social little lady. She always comes home super tired and I always know how much fun she had from the photos and videos sent by Kacy. I literally could never trust anyone else with my precious Isla and wouldn't leave the South Bay because of how great Kacy and Camp Puppies is! Thank you Kacy!!!
Our sweet, senior pug is treated like a tiny prince at Camp Puppies! Kacy truly loves every pup she works with as if they were her own. We love Camp Puppies! I’ve sent my pup to Chrissy for plenty of long weekends, and even sent her to Puppies while I spent time abroad. I always receive plenty of pictures and updates so I know my pup is in great hands. Chrissy genuinely loves and cares for the dogs she is watching, and I have and will recommend her to friends again in the future.
If I could give 10 stars, I would! Chrissy is a godsend! We were introduced to Chrissy by accident by a neighbor who absolutely raved about her dog walker. We had always wanted to get a dog walker for our dog but have trust issues and never took the plunge. After our neighbor expressed her adoration and trust for Chrissy, we reached out and met with her and decided to give her a chance. We couldn't be more happy with our choice and are so grateful she LOVES what she does because it benefits us all! She is organized and flexible, which is very much appreciated. Kacy has been the best bud and walker for our wiggly, reactive pitbull Lola. She also walks our dog Radar who is a shelter doggo that is still learning not to pull. Kacy takes them on long walks and trips to fun parks that they look forward to each week. Our whole family loves Kacy! <3
Kacy is a second mommy to my fur baby-she has taken such great care of our dog on walks while we work and also for overnights when we go out of town. You can tell how much she genuinely loves the dogs and I know that mine is in the best hands with her. So glad I found Camp Puppies. Thanks Kacy!!

We recently picked Lucy up from a 16-day stay, and not once over that period was I worried about how she was doing. Anna Marie went above and beyond - she sent frequent photos and videos, brushed her out daily, worked on commands, and even took it into her own hands to figure out what food Lucy needed when she was being a picky eater. I am an EXTREMELY over protective Dog Mom to my 5 yo French Bull Dog Brodie. I have been searching for a dog sitter and trainer for him as long as I can remember, but I’ve never been satisfied leaving my fur baby until I found Happy Heart Pet Care. I will say I love to spoil my boy and only the best will do, however, this also meant he got away with a lot more behavioral wise then he should. So I needed to find someone knowledgeable that I could trust with my boy… I haven’t been able to find someone reliable that not only had the experience to help train Brodie, but that I felt comfortable trusting to care for him. Anna Marie checks all the boxes. She not only has helped with Brodie’s training, but I trust her to care for him as if he was her own. She is truly our dog nanny! Brodie loves Anna Marie and he has become such a better behaved boy since he was introduced to her training and care. Having a person who not only will train your dog, but love them the way you would is priceless. He respects her and she has a great relationship with my boy teaching him with obedience training and socialization. All the dogs she cares for are very well behaved so he has her pack to learn from as well. She also is a great resource for a number of suggestions and advice with regard to your pets health and well being. She is always the first person I call or text to ask any questions with regard to his health or needs, which is invaluable. She is one of the most kind and understanding people I’ve met in LA and I have no doubt I would ever find someone who cares or loves Brodie more as a trainer or dog nanny than her. Needless to say I highly recommend Happy Heart Pet Care. Your life will be easier with your dog if you use her, trust me!
So grateful to have found Happy Heart Pet Care--they are the best! I have an adopted pound dog who is super skittish (and bark-y) with new people and for the past 4+ years, has not been comfortable with other dogs. She LOVES Anna-Marie and Matthew and, after just three visits, she is already changing in wonderful ways--less skittish with new people and excited to play with other dogs, which I never thought possible. Anna-Marie is incredibly kind and accommodating, thoughtful about introducing new dogs to their environment, and thoughtful of skittish human owners, sending them photos of their happy dogs. I contacted them because of the consistently amazing Yelp reviews (a rare thing), without realizing they're on the west side of LA. My dog and I are way on the east side, but still travel there because knowing my pup is safe and happy with people she loves and who genuinely care is worth everything.
Matthew and Anna Marie are both so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about dogs. Their love for our 9week old Darcy is so heartwarming! I certainly had my concern leaving a young puppy with other people for a week, but Matthew and Anna Marie stayed very communicative. They also helped me on getting to know/adjust for a puppy. I could see Darcy was so well cared for through photos/detailed text updates. Truly appreciate their existence 💙
Anna-Marie took care of my 1 year old shih tzu puppy, Tater Tot, for almost 3 weeks while we were away. She was wonderful as she was very flexible with drop off/pick up times, and gave Tater Tot lots of love but also trained him! Tater is much more calm and well behaved now! He was brushed everyday, made many new dog friends, and enjoyed his walks. Anna-Marie updated us with cute photos and videos of him and we can’t wait to have him back with her again!
Where do I start? So thankful for Matt and Anna Maria. Matt has been a life saver with behavior modification with my sweet girl Cocoa. Cocoa is a hyper-vigilant rescue pit, with a few social challenges. Matt not only was able to with patience and professionalism, earn her trust, and help with her behaviors, he was also able to teach me, ways to manage when she and I are in the wild. He is very hands on, and teaches key fundamentals when handling a dog, and working with the world around them. I literally on multiple occasions have been able to handle situations without panic and stress due to Matt’s training. Cocoa also has been managing her stress better as well. You are equipped with the knowledge literally after just one session, the most rewarding thing is seeing the transformation in Cocoa. She has come such a long way. Happy Heart Pet Care has been a blessing. I highly recommend. 10 out of 10!
I highly recommend this company not just as a dog trainer but for all your pet care needs. They do training, dog sitting, walking, and even cat sitting. They are highly experienced and had my aggressive rescue dog showing improvement after just a few sessions! I’ve also used their services when traveling. They send updates on the pup and make sure he is very well taken care of. Highly recommend them!!
We found Anna Marie on Yelp and trusted the good reviews she had- it was the first time we left our puppy with someone she didn't know and in another city. We loved Anna the first moment we met her, she was super kind, and you could tell she had a lot of knowledge and experience with dogs. We saw our puppy liked her from the very beginning and felt safe with her- we left her one full day and, when we picked her up, she was super happy and looked like Anna took great care of her. I highly recommend her; she is amazing!

I do not know where to start... since joining Melissa's Mutt Hutt earlier last year, Melissa and her team were very welcoming and made it know they were excited for me to join them. Everyone is very helpful, training was informative, which lead to me never feeling uncomfortable branching on my own. I have had been lucky to work with great clients and their pups. I mainly board dogs in my home, and they are all well trained and have not had any issues. You should feel 100 percent comfortable having MMH take care of any of your pets!
We have been working with Melissa's Mutt Hutt for the past 6 months for daily walks and last minute boarding at a walker's house when away for the weekend. They are very responsive communicating through the app or via email/text when last minute and send wonderful updates. I can tell from the way they welcome my pet when they come to pick her up that these people are genuine dog lovers and passionate about the work they do.
Since working with Melissa’s Mutt Hutt for almost 1 year, I have shared so much love and joy with these pets. I have been thoroughly trained with each of my accounts so that I can confidently carry out walks and visits independently while clients carry on with their work, vacations or other plans as they arise. We use a brand new app that allows clients to communicate with us, schedule appointments, and share the cutest pics of their fur babies! I treat the time I spend with my dogs and cats as more than a job because I know how precious they are to their humans. It’s more like a hangout, and I often wish we could extend our time together.
I can’t stress how much I love this business. I’ve used them for both walks and sitting for my two dogs and they are just over and above fantastic every time. Really like the sitter Kaia we had last time.
After working for two years with another dog walking/pet sitting company, we moved out of their normal area of service, and had to find pet care on short notice. With a shy and anxious dog who is nervous of strangers and sometimes reactive to other dogs on leash, finding a trusted dog walker is no easy task. I found MMH on Yelp and gave them a call. Melissa called me back within 24 hours, and Sarah came out that week to meet me and my dog and assured me that Allison would be able to take care of our pup. As we still had a few walks scheduled with our previous walker, they even coordinated a time for Allison to join our old walker on one of their last visits and help our dog adjust to the change. Allison is amazing, and we are so lucky to have found her! She took the time to get to know and build trust with our dog. Our dog loves her, she sends the best photos and updates after each visit, and she really goes above and beyond to keep us informed of any concerns. We’ve worked with lots of great dog walkers over the years, but she is the best when it comes to communication. We have regularly scheduled weekly walking, but MMH has also always been able to accommodate our one-off requests. This is one of the benefits of working with a larger company. If we need a one-off walk, and Allison isn’t available, MMH has always been able to find someone, and Allison regularly introduces our dog to other walkers so that there are multiple people who can fill in when needed. We’ve also used MMH for overnight, in-home care, and again, MMH has always been able to accommodate our requests and we’ve had positive experiences with all the walkers/sitters so far.
Melissa's Mutt Hutt & Cat Shack has been serving the beloved four legged family members of the South Bay area since 2004 and it is of little surprise. From top to bottom, each member of this team is passionate about providing the highest level of service and care. It has been my experience that the management team goes out of their way to make sure that each client is well informed about fees, policies, and services. They return messages in a reasonable amount of time and make sure that any and all concerns or questions are thoroughly addressed. The staff are all carefully selected, vetted, and trained to provide the highest level of care while maintaining safe handling practices. The attention taken to ensure each staff member is trained to handle any situation they may be confronted with while caring for a family's fur babies is extraordinary. Their devotion to animals and advocacy to provide a gold standard for care is apparent in every aspect of this business; from the management team and staff, to the range of care that is provided. This is a phenomenal group of people. I highly recommend using their services.
I will start by saying I rarely take the time to write a review unless I feel it's necessary or worthy. Melissa's Mutt Hutt is absolutely worthy of 5 stars!!!!! As so many of us feel, our fur babies are family members so trusting anyone else to care for them can be difficult. From my first meeting with Melissa I knew my dog would be in the best of hands. She is so passionate about what she does and is professional, educated, and CARES. She treats my dog like her own! I have used both her dog walking and boarding services and what a gift it is to feel my girl is in completely responsible hands. With each day comes daily photos, thorough notes and communication, and LOTS of love! If you are looking for a dog walker or boarding care, I sincerely recommend this service!
My review is primarily for the management team consisting of Melissa, Elise, and Jackie (note the boarders have been largely good). My concerns with this business can be summed up as: lack of fee transparency/moving goal posts and terrible communication. I recently relocated to the area and my anxious senior pups were exhibiting signs of aggression towards one another, which I disclosed to the team ahead of our first boarding appt. Fortunately, both boarding visits went well and the second boarder raved about how sweet and calm both dogs were throughout the visit, with only some minor growling one time. Fees: Upon booking my first boarding appt, the management team added $10 per day for medical administration (for longer stays, this would amount to a day or more of total fees). I contacted them to understand why it was being added as I've never had such a fee in all the years I've been working with professional boarders, and their meds simply get mixed in with their food and there's never been a problem with them not eating it. I was told it was "industry standard" and because of the extra effort required. I reluctantly agreed but soon learned it is not industry standard (all 6 of the local boarding businesses I contacted do not charge such a fee), and this felt disingenuous. I recently made a number of additional bookings, with two bookings in march separated by 2.5 days, and without my approval, they added two additional days of dog boarding to connect the two visits. I requested an adjustment to the booking thinking it was an honest mistake, only to receive a very condescending email from management telling me in the future they would automatically book additional days if stays were not separated by 2+ days because "its in the dog's best interest", "the dogs don't eat and won't take their meds", "it causes more behavioral problems", etc... none of which were issues that my dogs have had under their care that have been reported to me or under the care of other boarders. I contacted management again to understand why their contract terms were changing and again was met with the same condescending attitude of "we've been caring for animals for XX years, we know better than you do." Communication: There have been several instances of what I would describe as clunky (at best), if not altogether unprofessional and frankly disrespectful communication by the entire management team, including Melissa herself who decided to start insulting me over the phone when I pushed back on the new 2+ days stay separation requirement. They claim their med fees are industry standard, and they know that's not true. Maybe some other boarders do it, but don't tell your customers something is industry standard when you know it's not just so they'll be ok with it. If you push back on anything with them, they'll immediately become defensive and dismissive, speaking to you like you have no idea how to care for your dogs - citing potential risks and issues that have not otherwise been noted or are issues at all. And if you persist and continue advocating for yourself as a customer, good luck, you'll be met with all manner of excuse making about why things are your fault and even likely get the owner herself insulting you over the phone. I've never had the misfortune of working with a management team like this, so I will gladly be taking my business elsewhere. 1/3/24 Update: There's Melissa's response. Not surprised at all and won't take the time to point out the multiple lies and inconsistencies (I have receipts) or her not addressing key concerns I outlined and instead resorting to insults and personal attacks... again. Ask yourself if that's the kind of business you want to support. I personally won't and hope anyone who does business with them doesn't have service issues because this is the person you'll get to try to resolve them with. Also note that many of the 5 star reviews here are from her employees and not customers, including several that were left since I left my review to inflate their scores. Again not surprised.
I've been working with Melissa's Mutt Hutt for 3+ years now for my 2 dogs. I couldn't ask for a more dependable, trustworthy, personalized and flexible company -- all things that are important for someone like me that travels a great deal for work. As a new client, Melissa will come to your house, meet your dogs, and ask detailed questions about them. She'll then work to make sure your dogs are 'matched' with a great Mutt-Hutter. There have been many instances where I have last minute travel -- and Melissa is always very accommodating. And when I travel I don't think twice because I know that she and her wonderful group of Mutt-Hutters will treat my dogs as they would their own -- so I never have to be worried. In addition to boarding services, my dogs are also walked multiple times a week -- which means I get a detailed note about how the dogs did on their walk when I get home from work! I treat my dogs like children -- so I mean it when I say that Melissa's Mutt Hutt has been wonderful and I won't think of anyone else to watch and walk my dogs!
Melissa's Mutt Hutt is the best. Melissa only walks one or two dogs at once. She believes in personalized care for the dog. She accommodates last minute petsits when you wanna leave town for a few days. I have been a dog walker/sitter for over 2 years. I have the best and the easiest and the happiest dogs ever. They are such a treat. Her prices are competitive and she is very reliable. Come rain or shine, we will take care of your pets
I just want to state how pleasantly surprised I was with the service provided by WalknRoll. Everyone I talked to throughout the setup/application process was professional, responsive, and friendly. When I dropped my guy Mickey off and met Midori, I was immediately comfortable knowing he would be staying in a beautiful home with a genuinely sweet sitter. Midori and her Family sent me pictures of Mickey playing, resting, and going on walks. I could tell he was having an incredible time. I’m so glad I found Walk n Roll. I’ll definitely be using them in the near future and I know Mickey will be excited to see all his friends again.

My family found themselves in a very tight spot, and needed care for our four pups right away! Tish and Tissa moved mountains to help us out, and were an integral part for several months of providing care in one way or another for us, whether it be transporting them to and from the vet, long term boarding, and spoiling them with love and snuggles! When we were able to get back to them, they were very happy and you could tell they had been cared for beautifully! Thank you ladies for all you do!

I couldn't care for my dog and was in a panic of what to do. At Walk N Roll, our dog was treated like one of the family, and she received so much love and attention. While she was there for a 2 week stay, we were sent photos regularly of our dog going on outings, or relaxing at home. This helped to keep my children calm, knowing that their beloved pet was in good hands. When our return flights were suddenly canceled, they were very gracious and accommodating, which was such a relief! Knowing that our rescue dog was safe and loved, in a caregivers home (and not in a boarding facility in a small cage with a dog run), gave us so much comfort. As testament to the care she received, our dog is now missing her Walk N Roll pet sitter!
Leaving my golden retriever, Ginger, for two weeks felt like I was leaving my daughter behind, but when I saw how well cared for she was by Midori and family through social media posts, including both pictures and videos, I knew she was in the best of hands. In fact, I have already scheduled Ginger to stay with her again for my next upcoming trip. Walk N Roll watched our two labradoodles over the Christmas and New Year holidays. Our trip was relaxing now that Tish and Anissa were taking good care of our dogs. We received photos almost everyday, and they went out of their way to kept us posted. Will definitely use their services again!
Our black lab had a great vacation at Walk N Roll Pet Sitting. He stayed with Tish, and her chocolate lab and 2 Pugs, for 10 days. Tish kept us posted via mail as to how he was doing during his stay, and included several pictures, which our kids enjoyed receiving. It was comforting to know that while we were out of town, our dog was in such good hands, enjoying Tish's backyard and being able to play with her own dogs. It was quite obvious to us that Tish is a real dog person, and we highly recommend her. Your pet will be well cared for and given lots of attention while staying with Tish.
My pup Louie and I love Doggie Goddess! We have been going to the amazing women of Doggie Goddess for about a year now. Not only does Louie spend two days a week there, but he has boarded with them a few times as well. Each member of the staff is so kind, and I can tell they love my dog as if he’s their own. Regardless of the location, Louie comes home each day exhausted (in the best way) from playing and socializing with his pack! It’s incredibly special to find a business in which you can trust the staff to watch over an animal you love, especially one that is cage-free. Thank you to all the women who care for my pup while I’m unable to do so - you are such a huge and great part of Lou’s life!
Doggie Goddess is our dogs home away from home. They treat our mini schnauzer like family. Additionally they are extremely professional and go above and beyond. The facility is extremely clean and our dog has never come home sick after her visits at Doggie Goddess. Traci and her team are amazing. Definitely should recommended 10/10

By far the best daycare I have found in LA as they take care of my little drama queen as if he was their own.
My dogs have been going to Doggie Goddess for 10 years. If I could give Doggie Goddess more than 5 stars I would. Traci and her team are amazing. The dogs are always supervised, there is a very balanced pack mentality so the dogs get to have a great time but safety and balance is always happening as well. Traci and her team know all of the dogs, their personalities , quirks and what makes them happy. My dogs can't wait to go there and their sleepovers are the best. There is someone who sleeps with the dogs( which I love). If you are looking for a safe, fun place for daycare and/or boarding, I highly recommend Doggie Goddess.
We love doggie goddess and we won’t take our pup anywhere else. The level of care, love, and attentiveness Traci and her team give my pup is so apparent. I forgot about this place until I get an email from them, so let me warn future pet owners: The worker, Yadira, is a case in unhinged behavior. When I went to pick up my dog, I heard someone angrily yelling at the dogs to be quiet. This worried me so I started filming. From the moment this worker greeted me and opened the door, she had a nasty attitude, was rude, would not listen to my questions, and basically acted like an angry immature high schooler. I had to use de-escalation skills and try to reason with her. Luckily, she didn't see the camera, so I was able to record her behavior without her putting on a mask. She would not let my dog out for almost 4 minutes after I went to pick him up. While my pup whined to come out, she angrily told me that he had tried to snap at her AFTER SHE PULLED HIM BY THE COLLAR. When I asked her why she did this, because I've heard you never do that with a dog you don't own, she proceeded to give me more attitude, giving pseudo-explanations that made no sense. She even lied telling me she's told my husband about my dog having issues (My dog has never had issues at any other day care). When I asked my husband about this, he said he had no idea what she was talking about. She probably had the wrong dog in her deluded mind. I got a call from the owner that day to complain about me. After seeing the video however, the owner did apologize to us and told us Yadira just had a bad day. Unfortunately, I don't want to leave my pup with humans who act psychotic when they have a "bad day." That said, we decided never to bring out pup there where a crazy lady with rage issues will yell at the dogs and pull them by the collar whenever she wants just because that's probably the only time in her day she gets to feel some sort of power.
We’ve tried several L.A. area dog daycare and boarding centers for my high energy, XL girl and BY FAR, HANDS DOWN, we are happiest with Doggie Goddess. The owner and her staff obviously really love and understand all dogs. I feel most relaxed and assured that my baby is in good hands when I drop her here! No time outs or cages, just redirection, when needed! True Pros!
I've been going here for years. Olga loves my pup like her own. She's always excited to see him and he is always exhausted when he comes home. It's his home away from home with his special friends. Highly recommend and very reasonable in pricing.
We found our hidden gem with Olga. She is the best in keeping our Crissy (Sweet lady) her nic kname for our furbaby safe and happy during her stays. She is getting the full VIP treatment with a shampoo and cut this weekend. We highly recommend 5 Star Doggie Inn. It truly is 5 star.

We love taking our two American Eskimo dogs here. It's their home away from home and they love it. We have been coming to 5 star doggy inn since 2019 and have always had great service from them. Olga is so sweet and accommodating. Love getting them bathed here too so they are fresh and fluffy when we pick them up.
We're very happy with the care and attention our dog Scout receives at the Doggy Inn. They have indoor and outdoor play areas, and for overnights the dogs stay in private rooms (think large dressing room size) rather than in crates, which feels much more homey. The owner and staff are caring and accommodating, and our dog always seems happy for play time at Olga's. The prices are also reasonable. Love that they share pics and video on Facebook so you can check in on your pet while away! A+++

We love this place! I can barely get my rescue to leave the house (she sees the lease and crates herself) but when I manage to coax her out, after a not so fun car ride, she freaks out when she sees where she's going. Their day school program is perfect for her as she needs both mental and physical stimulation. Thank you OHD!
My dog, Emmie, has been going to OHD for daycare for about 9 months now. I have enrolled her in the day school training program for probably the last 3 months. I have seen a huge improvement in Emmie since she has started at OHD (and especially since starting day school) and know that she'll only continue to get better manners over time. The Team at OHD is absolutely the best!! They create the cutest videos and have a variety of services that we utilize every time we leave town. Our 13 yr old Rottie loves his interactions with all the dogs, his open play time and cuddles with the OHD Team. The love, attention and care they show our Atticus is why he 'bids me a fond and fast farewell' whenever he is lucky enough to spend time with this exceptional crew. There are tons of locations in So Cal that offer 'dog boarding and day care' but they simply pale in comparison. We commute over an hour to get to OHD and wouldn't go anywhere else!
I took my shy dog to OHD in 2022 bc they were known to be good with timid dogs. However, he didn't pass the initial test because "he didn't sit," which I found perplexing. He does know the command, but it's understandable he wouldn’t obey a stranger in a new place. It felt like they didn’t give him time to warm up, instead labeling him as needing extra training. They suggested a different program for him that didn’t start until later in the year, and I was advised to work on his training in the meantime. I chose another daycare instead, explaining his initial nervousness before our first meeting. They reassured me it was normal, and he's done great there since. The OHD facility seemed nice, and I believe they genuinely care about the dogs, but they may not be ideal for those needing extra time to adjust. I understand wanting the right fit to ensure safety, but in my case, their approach felt a bit too stringent. Feels a bit weird to review them since he never attended, but wanted to post this in case it’s helpful to others whose dogs have a similar temperament. 4 stars bc they seemed nice and I don’t want to mess with their rating.
I am beyond grateful to have came across OHD! My 2 year old pug is very anxious and nervous around other dogs off leash and reactive on leash. When I took her to OHD during her evaluation I was recommended a transition program for Nala and I had never heard of that at any other daycare. She did 8 sessions and on her own felt more confident with other doggies around her. Didn't think she would come around as I had tried many things. I would receive a report card after every session of her progress and pictures once a week. OHD has been a blessing and now when I drop her off for regular daycare I feel at ease she is in great hands. She recently had an overnight and the next morning I received an update on how she did and I was so glad she did great. I highly recommend giving OHD family a try
Been a customer since it opened with my first pup and OHD always went above and beyond in her care, especially in her senior years. We now bring our new pups here for boarding and daycare. There's nowhere or noone else in LA I'd trust their care and safety with. Just the best!
My shy girl Nala is starting to gain confidence and my wild puppy Max helps her out in day school. I love this place so much for my fur babies. They have the best time!!
My cattle dog mix, Marcus LaBarcus, loves spending time here. Seeing him get excited as I drop him off makes me feel so much better whenever I have to travel for work. He comes back happy and tired, proving once and for all that it is in fact possible to wear out an ACD. Cannot recco this spot enough.
Oh hello dog provides exceptional service. During the time they care for and love our dog, they have always been professional and responsible. The staff show great interest in engaging and playing with the dogs, always ensuring they have a safe and enjoyable time. OHD provides a clean and comfortable environment, offering all the attention and love that dogs need. Additionally, the staff regularly provide us with updates on our dog's well-being and activities, allowing us to work with peace of mind. I highly recommend this daycare and consider it a trustworthy place to leave fur baby.
* THE REVIEWS ARE REAL* About a month ago I decided to bring my pup to Oh Hello! She’s been home being spoiled for the last year so she wasn’t the most socialized puppy! The staff here took time to help her become more social and now she wants to play with every dog she encounters. I recently need to go out of town for business and needing boarding (they called it a sleepover 😂😂) not only did they keep me updated with everything going on the even catered to her diva eating habits (she’s very spoiled and won’t eat if it’s not what she wants). I know she loves Oh Hello because once we turn on the street to get there she jumps up and starts doing that cute dog wiggle the dogs do when they are happy! P.S. Most of the staff here drive Subarus and we all know Subaru owners love dogs!
