I had the best time with Amelia And Paddy, they really are very sweet cats and not any trouble at all. They didn’t wake me up at night time, and they always came up to me for cute little head rubs. Tuck left me food in the fridge and told me to help myself to wine which is very nice, and I appreciate that. She also set up a very comfortable bed for me. Her apartment is very lovely and conveniently located, and although it is in the middle of urban Portland it is very quiet. Security is very good at the building and there is an in house car park and bike parking, and a concierge!
I had a wonderful stay at Sarah’s apartment looking after Ernie. Ernie was very sweet and absolutely loved going on long walks through the parks nearby. He is an active dog, but loves to cuddle as well :). He is very good at letting one know his needs. The apartment is very lovely, comfortable and clean in a great location between two parks and next to an underground station. The communication with Sarah was excellent. She was such a wonderful host. Sarah wrote sheets with all the necessary information, for example descriptions on how to use everything in the apartment. I felt at ease since the beginning. I would totally recommend the sit. Thanks so much Sarah for having me!
I had a wonderful time with Mocha and it was wonderful getting to meet Liz ahead of time and learn about Mocha's schedule and needs. I did not stay in her Arlington home, but in her Old Town Alexandria condo which was wonderful. High rise living at its best -- beautiful views of the Potomac, our nation's capitol, the Washington Monument and more. It was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. I truly enjoyed being there and the best part was getting to be there with Mocha. He's a snuggler and very used to his routine. He knows where he wants to go and takes you there. He takes his medications with absolutely no issues. It was a lovely sit that I would happily return to. I highly recommend this sit to other sitters.
We had the pleasure of caring for Beau and Benny in Jessica's welcoming home in the Alamo Ranch area of San Antonio, TX. This spacious 3-bedroom house, located in a secure gated community, proved to be a true retreat offering all the comforts of home and more. The family-friendly residence is well-equipped with modern amenities like high-speed WiFi, a dedicated workspace for staying connected, and a fully equipped kitchen perfect for those who love to cook - every detail was thoughtfully considered by Jessica. But the home wasn't just about functionality, it also provided ample opportunities for leisure and relaxation. The private patio and community pool area were ideal spots for unwinding on sunny days. With a smart TV and streaming services, there was always entertainment at hand as well. Jessica even offered the use of her bike for exploring the lively Alamo Ranch neighborhood on morning and evening walks. What truly made this house sit special, however, were Jessica's two delightful pups - Beau, the 4-year-old energetic extrovert who loves people, and Benny, the initially shy but incredibly sweet 2-year-old. Both furbabies showered us with affection through their love of toys, walks, and cuddles, charming us with their unique personalities. The one note we would make is to be careful with Beau and any food. We made the mistake of releasing Beau from his crate before Benny was done with his food and Beau did rush over to eat Bennys food; when I tried to prevent that, he became extremely aggressive. Would emphasize extreme caution with anything food-related to Beau. Jessica could not have been a more accommodating and welcoming host. The house was clean and comfortable when we arrived, and her detailed instructions made our role as sitters seamless. Previous sitters' tips like feeding Benny separately in his crate and taking the dogs for jogs proved incredibly helpful as well. Between the comfortable living conditions, fantastic amenities, and the joyful companionship of Beau and Benny, our time in Jessica's Alamo Ranch home was far more than just a house sit - it was a delightful home away from home experience. We'd highly recommend this opportunity to any sitters, whether local or visiting San Antonio.
Penny is absolutely gorgeous & was well behaved and a delight to look after! We didn't get to meet Molly due to some travel complications on our end, however she was incredibly responsive & lovely to communicate with and her home is very comfortable and clean. We had a ball!
This was indeed paradise on earth! You have to be comfortable being a bit remote, but the wifi/connectivity was perfect, the views and walks from the house are awesome (as are the myriad hikes I did - I'm sure my friends got tired of all my pictures), and the drive to literally anywhere from there is spectacularly beautiful! I loved Creede, the shops, bars and restaurants, and the many locals I met; I'm eager to go back. Schonett and Jeff were great - their preparation was thorough, and their responsiveness while they were away was immediate and always resolving (and entertaining :-). Ralph the cat was a great companion; I particularly liked when he would position himself on the table between me and my keyboard/between my arms as I worked. I miss them all!
