Suzanne is a great petsitter . She is also a very interesting person. Scruffles enjoyed his time with her and she was kind enough to send videos and pictures of thier time together while I was away. I would definately recommend her and have her back again if she decides to come to Denmark.
Surendra and Carolyn are the lovlies hosts we've ever met. The Casita, where you will live, is very nice, clean and provides, washing mashine, dryer, a well equiped kitchen as well as a comfortable bed. You can have long walks in the nature in that area and if you are interested in the center of San Miguel (which is super pretty) is not far away with car. We had a beautiful housesit, Surendra and Carolyn are highly recommanded!
Gatsby was the purrfect cat, so well behaved and cuddly. The flat was very comfortable and there is plenty to do in the area, with easy access to Sheffield. The info pack Dee provided was very comprehensive and we kept in touch throughout the sit. Would happily sit again. Would recommend a walk through the parks to Forge Dam cafe for sausage rolls.
I had the pleasure house sitting for Sue and Rick. We met up before the actual sit, it felt like we had known each other for a long time. Sue and Rick are sweet hosts, their home is inviting, at a beautiful location. Winston, the adorable Corgi made this sit both a relaxing and a memorable one. Winston is easy going, loves playing fetch, going for a drive, a true joy to be with. There is a great state park about a 15 minute drive from the house, Belle Island state park. Hughlett Point is worth a visit as well. Supermarkets and restaurants are about half-an-hour drive away, well worth the remote location. This house sit was absolutely amazing, I had a wonderful time in Lively and would love to be asked back. Thank you Sue and Rick.
Alex and Sailor live in a nice house in a lovely neighborhood in Palos Verdes. Taking care of quirky little Sailor was easy and a lot of fun. We enjoyed our walks around the neighbor with him! The area is a short drive to the beach and there are many bluff walking trails close by. It was nice to meet Alex, she is a very kind and accommodating person to housesit for and communication with her was easy and efficient.
Cindy and Robert made us feel very welcome in their home since the moment we came. They left us detailed instructions, explained everything and they were always quick to respond if we had any questions during our stay. The house and the garden were inspirational for play for our boys, and Cindy and Robert were super kind to leave toys for them and board games we could use - it was as good as Legland if you ask them! We didn't see Oscar much as he needed to be kept contained and quiet due to injury he got before we came, but we had so much fun with Boris. He has the same adorable Ewok face and the same mischievous nature as those small furry characters from Star Wars universe. He loves being present wherever there is something happening and adores cuddles and snuggles. His energy matched those of our boys so they were great partners in play. Our Lilo is older and doesn't really play that much, but in a day of our stay, she and Boris found mutual respect and from there on they were inseparable - in walks, graden lookout and chill out time. There is a lovely woodland walk close to house and we got to enjoy beautiful walks in country parks within only 15 minutes drive. As the house is in a quiet place, surrounded by nature, I feel we all enjoyed and benefited from getting closer to the rhythms of nature, warming up indoors at dusk and waking up with sun coming up. We had wonderful time and we highly recommend this sit...and we miss Boris since the moment we left.. boys mention him every hour of a day :)
Wonderful! We had a lovely 2 months looking after BB and Tiggy in Beckenham! Annie gave us a super detailed welcome guide and was very communicative throughout the stay. Her apartment is lovely - clean, spacious and it gets so much sunlight - and we felt right at home straight away. BB and Tiggy are such sociable sweethearts! Very playful (they'd chase a laser all day long if they could!) but they also enjoy their cuddles - if you put a blanket on your lap, Tiggy will be there in a flash. Annie likes daily updates of the cats so we set up a Google Photos album and got lots of cute and silly photos throughout the stay. There's not loads going on in Beckenham but we did find some local gems thanks to Annie's suggestions. And the train links to London make it a great base for remote working during the week with trips into the city in the evenings/weekends. We also really enjoyed walks around nearby Crystal Palace where there are lovely places to eat and drink. Overall we had a great stay and think any cat lover would enjoy caring for these truly beautiful siblings!
