We had such a fun, wonderful time getting to know Paige and David the night before our trip! They took great care of our kitties and our house, sent us daily updates with photos, looked after our gardens, and left our home spotlessly clean. Paige and David are absolute pros when it comes to pet and house sitting. If you have the opportunity to have Paige and David sit for you, confirm them immediately! We are sincerely grateful to have met Paige and David and can’t wait for the next opportunity to reunite with our new friends.

Theo and Olive were an absolute delight to look after. Emma was always happy to answer any questions I had and sent through lots of information to make sure the situation went smoothly!

Imogen
It has been two weeks full of energy and cuddles. Imogen and Alan live in Northleach, a beautiful town in the Cotswolds. There's a fantastic cafe (delicious sandwiches!), a pub (outstanding food), a shop with everything you need. The surrounding area is great for walking. If you have a car it's even better.

Imogen and Alan gave us detailed instructions on how to look after their girls, Mabel and Maryl. They are extremely lively dogs, full of joy. They love freedom, running and even swimming (especially Mabel, a French bulldog!). When we came home from a walk, Mabel was lounging in front of the fireplace and Meryl was running to the garden door to play with a ball. They like to be close to people, so you can expect lots of cuddling. We love it!

These two ladies are real characters - walking on a lead is not their favourite thing to do, they respond to a whistle when running freely in the field, but sometimes they do so selectively (especially when you walk between fields). Once you learn their behaviour and what they react to, it will be much better. It’s a pure joy to observe how they enjoy their walks.

If you decide to take care of Maryl and Mabel, take into account that it is not recommended to leave them for more than two hours. We didn't plan to explore the area, so evenings were spent by the fireplace, watching movies together which they love. Alan's home stereo is great and we had a pleasure to experience it.

The flat is fully equipped and functional, you can easily work from home, the internet is very efficient, there is a garden and a place to park the car 🚙. When we had to leave for the day, Imogen asked a friend to look after the dogs. The owners are very helpful and supportive. There was regular and great contact with the owners. We have been sending them videos and photos how the girls are coping with absents of their parents 🦮💕.

Meryl and Mabel are so sweet and lovely, that we would love to return to them. Greg just fell in love with Meryl, and I felt I had a lot in common with Mabel. It was a very good time!

Staying at Gina’s was a great experience. Her animals are all very loving and friendly. Gina left detailed instructions and was easy to contact for any questions we needed answered. We did run into a few issues. One with a bunch of ants coming into our unit, most likely due to the rain- very easily treated with a bug treatment Gina left for incidents like this. And her sweet Fara with handling the storms found way to keep getting off the property. We spoke to Gina about the issue and were able to troubleshoot a few options. Our choice being to just shut the dogs inside for a few hours if we left. Usually 5 hours max. The work is fairly easy once you get the routine down and you will absolutely get unlimited amounts of cuddles from all the animals. Overall the experience was refreshing and fun. Gina’s hospitality allowed us to be comfortable and really enjoy our time. We’d look forward to visiting in the future.

If you get the chance to stay with all the sweet babies give our love to Zorah, Zendi, Fara and Frodo!

Phyllis
We met Phillys, Max and Zelda a few days before we stayed at their house and it was really cool. Phyllis showed us all the details of the house and about taking care of both of them. Max is a baby kitten full of energy but with a lot of affection too. Zelda is perfect, peaceful and loving. Our days were very good, the two behaved very well. Phyllis' house is very comfortable and very well located in Boston.
Communication with Phyllis was perfect too, she is very attentive and was always concerned about how we were doing! We recommend without a doubt!
