Despite a leg injury from her travels in Europe a few weeks earlier, Elaine honoured her commitment to this house sit, and looked after my home and my two cats for a very long 26 days, while I was on holiday. She came to stay the night before I left to get to know the house and cat’s needs. She was in touch regularly during my holiday with photos of my cats and their antics, with updates on their welfare/behaviour good and bad, which reassured me that they were obviously feeling comfortable with her around, and behaving normally. On my return I found the house clean and tidy, and Elaine had prepared a hot meal for me, as I arrived back late on a Sunday, too late to get food in, which was lovely. She was great company and cared very well for Morris and Maisie, and enabled me to enjoy the holiday of a lifetime, by giving me peace of mind that my cats were well cared for.
We can't thank Emily and Nathan enough for letting us spend time with lovable Dottie and Winnie. They were two of the most affectionate dogs ever, and we miss them already. They really enjoyed their neighborhood walks and snuggles. The house was very clean, inviting and in a great location. We really enjoyed the Airbnb apt, too....it was clean, spacious and the perfect way to unwind in the evenings. It was a short sit so we didn't have much interaction with Taco except one feeding. The chickens we're easy breezy and their eggs were wonderful. During our first video chat and when we met them in person our conversation flowed so easily. They left clear instructions and answered the few questions we had very promptly. If you get the chance to sit for them, we would highly recommend it. If in the area we would definitely return... Morganton is a very green and charming town.
Lovely sit with sweet animals - independent Ragdoll Cookie, who wanted to be where the action was and a little nervous but very engaged Fredie who loved his walks and play time! Highly recommend Christina and her fur-family! Lovely neighbors who introduced themselves but did not intrude. Easy walk into the town and even closer to the lake for Fredie's daily sniff-fest. Thoroughly enjoyed by time here!! And would be happy to return.
Rowan is such a warm human being and Pierre, their beautiful, sweet cat is such a joy and great buddy! Their place has a really zen vibe as well. I am always delighted to take care of Pierre!
This sit was all about LOVE! Wrigley & Fenway are very affectionate and well behaved boys & we bonded right away! Chris and Lacey’s home is cozy and quiet. They are in a convenient location to restaurants and in a nice walking neighborhood. It was a true pleasure to sit for this lovely family! Thank you!
This was a wonderful sit! We truly enjoyed our time and had an amazing experience. On our first day, Vicky and Matheos arranged to pick us up from the airport and welcomed us with a delicious dinner. They made us feel very welcome and we enjoyed spending time with them and their sweet child. Vicky gave the welcome guide a lot of care and it was more than very detailed and precise, while Matheos gave us detailed instructions to everything we needed to know, which was very helpful. The two dogs, Panda and Biscuit, were super lovely and loved lots of attention and playing. We enjoyed spending lots of time with them throughout our stay. They are also very protective and quick learners. Biscuit usually tries to show Panda who's boss, while they’re both is very adorable. As for the cats, Snowy was our favourite, she has a cute personality and likes to sleep very close to us in bed for cuddles and petting while purring. Tiger was also a very lovely and playful cat, who likes to play a lot with Snowy. Caramelos and Pebbles were a bit shy at first and took some time to warm up to us, especially Caramelos. However, towards the end of our stay, they started to gain our trust and came to us for some cuddles at night. It felt like we had two teams of cats with different personalities that provided us with constant fun throughout the day! Matheos and Vicky's home was a calm, relaxing, tidy and clean place. And throughout our stay, communication was excellent from before our stay, throughout it, and even after we left. They were always there to support and have our backs whenever we needed them. We already miss all of the pets so much and the great time we spent there!! and it would be wonderful to spend some more time with Vicky and her family, Thank you so much for everything, and without hesitation we would definitely love to sit for them again.
Fry & Colbert are just the best senior babies! The location of the home is in an area undergoing gentrification but still retaining loads of originality. A bike seems to be the best way of getting around. Several nice coffee shops are nearby.
